The PS5 is an epic excellent start of this console generation for Sony, it performs well and stays cool and quiet, has good launch titles too

Outstanding machine. Was easy to get and runs so well. I recommend buying an external because the games do fill up the storage quickly.

Love the new PS5, great upgrade from my airplane of a PS4. Many new features, better quality. Still wish capacity was bigger with how big game downloads are.

The PS5 rocks!! The console is GIANT but very quiet. Games look incredible. Not only PS5 games, the PS5 is backward compatible and will make your PS4 games look good (some will even run at 60 FPS). I was debating between the PS5 and Xbox and went with the PS5 because I enjoy the Sony exclusive games like Uncharted, God of War, Ratchet and Clank, Sackboy etc. I wish the ssd was bigger but later in the year you’ll be able to add more ssd(storage). For now, I’m able to at least store my PS4 games on an external HDD.

Love everything about the system. Load times are amazingly fast to non-existent. Controller haptic feedback and adaptive triggers are really something next gen. Love the backwards compatability and free upgrades that are being offered by Sony and other developers. My one and only complaint so far is the current lack of actual next gen games out at this point.

Excellent design and much faster and quieter than the PS4. Graphics are great, although better games are needed to really test it out!

Good console. It's certainly an upgrade over the PS4 pro in terms of load times and fps on some games. I wouldn't feel rushed to get it, though, as long as PS4 games are still coming with free PS5 game upgrades. The overall gameplay experience between PS4 pro and PS5 isn't very noticeable yet. The new controllers are great with a more natural hand fit and vibration. Some of the buttons on the controller feel a little flimsy and I'm not sure if that's part of breaking the controller in, or a sign of poor design-but so far so good.

My favorite playstation since the PS2. I've been an Xbox gamer almost exclusively since the 360 and this is the first console I've bought from Sony that I feel is a true competitor. The controller is the perfect balance of new and old. Feels like they took some touch components from mobile gaming and nintendo and paired them with the hard to improve on style of the xbox controller. Any game that's going to use these controller features I'll be playing on the PS5. Seriously though, make a smaller one guys. This thing is a casino.

Got my hands on one finally after almost 2 years of waiting, worth the wait. Don't sleep on Astro's Playroom. The controller feels great in the hand. Quick load times. The power & eject hard buttons are varied in size thankfully (I always confused the same buttons on the PS4). Minor personal complaints, 825gb preinstalled...why not 1tb? I wish the console was black to match the rest of my entertainment center.
