With the ongoing silicon shortage and current state of the market where it's almost impossible to find anything at MSRP; this is a bargain. PS5 games look and play great, whether running in performance or fidelity mode. For the modern PC gamer, the load times are fine but nothing all that impressive. If you're coming from the base PS4 or PS4 Pro then I'm sure you'll appreciate it more. I should note that loading PS4 games took a bit longer to load compared to my external 1TB Samsung 860 Evo. Also consider purchasing an additional NVMe since you only have 667.2 GB available to you, the rest is allocated to system files and the OS. The fps boost on older PS4 titles is nice to have but was surprised to see super sampling was completely missing. So if you're playing a game like Uncharted 4, it won't render at 1440P then downscale to 1080P (my native display res) as it did on the PS4 Pro. For a game locked at 30 fps that option should be there. The dual sense controller has a great shape to it but I'm not a fan of the squishy like d-pad. Over time it will squeak and I've been using it lightly over the past few months. Haven't had any analog drift issues yet but it's something to keep an eye on.

The console is a true successor to the PS4 in every way, but the real star is the Dualsense controller. I went in expecting it to feel like a gimmick, but it really does take the experience to another level. Hopefully Sony will be able to produce enough stock to meet the demand, because scalpers and bots are out of hand right now. I can say confidently though for anyone waiting or unable to get one, it's absolutely worth the wait.

I can finally enjoy my ps4 games, I have waited to play a lot of different games for the PlayStation and I'm glad I did. This plays games really smooth and I couldn't be happier if your a PlayStation fan this is the console to get. The interface is easy to use and looks great! It is very large though, so make sure you have an open space it can be in. Lastly i have to mention astros playroom, it is just an amazing game included with the PS5 and has so much detail and many Easter eggs of past PlayStation's make sure to check this game out.

East setup, easy transfer. Fast load times and amazing graphics. Need more titles, it feels like the games are way behind the release.

The gaming system to have. Awesome graphics and new controller is a big upgrade over prior version.

Love the PS systems and backwards compatability. nice for the solo play that i can just story and pause whenever.

This is my 1st gaming control so I won't be able to compare to previous models. But I honestly like it. The controller is amazing although there are no games that can utilize it's potential so far, but we can expect it soon. So far I'm have played only AC Valhalla and Watchdogs legion and it's amazing with 4k TV. Battery of controller is also pretty good and game load time is very fast. Although the controller catches dirt pretty quick on it's white surface. Fans are also pretty silent except when you start or load the the disc.

Love my ps5 lol just got to add some more memory. Other then that. Its great. Got mine when it first came out.

Love my ps5, the storage is a little small only around 800 gigs but now you can increase the size with an internal SSD.

This thing is massive, but it's a great systems if you can get your hands on one! Much cheaper than trying to build a PC right now.

Finally got one after months of trying. Definitely worth it and a huge improvement from the ps4. Love the 3D sound and the controller.

There was the hype for the raw power and incredible capabilities, the disappointment from not getting that perfect spot in line and losing hope for ever getting a console within the year... I was honestly taken aback in disbelief when I actually got a PS5 from the store I already love so much! BLOWN AWAY. This is gaming like I had never experienced in my life. The haptic feedback immerses you in any story you embark upon. The straight beauty of the resolution and frame rate is breathtaking to say the least. No regrets.

Great console, design is, ok, but the interface, the ease of setup, all 100% improvement. The controllers feel more substantial and solid.

Beautiful console with a lot of PS exclusives to play. Recommend or wait and see if PS5 Pro is a real thing.
