Putting aside the fact that these are nearly impossible to find for retail price, this has been a solid machine. There are still a limited number of games available for both next-gen consoles. That being said, $500 (or $400 for discless) is a good deal even when compared to an equivelent PC. I have experienced a few game crashes but none of the database rebuild or update issues others have reported. The interface is overall an improvement on the PS4. The Explore page does sort of make it feel like your console boots to an ad (because it is an ad). Otherwise, the interface and particularly the PS Store is more responsive and easier to use. The new interface looks great on an OLED if you have one! The Controller is a HUGE improvement. I would say both PS and Xbox are now pretty much even on this front. The adaptive triggers are a bit of a gimmick but they are still a fun addition to some games. Overall, If you are looking for a gaming machine (and don't need a PC for other things), the PS5 is a pretty solid use of $500. If you have a solid gaming PC and/or are not compelled by any of the current games, revisit the consoles in a year or so.

I absolutely love it!! The size is not as bad as people say. It is super quite and the games look phenomenal. 10/10 recommend

I was lucky enough to secure one through Best Buy. The console itself is incredible! The graphics are incredible and the sound is equally as good. Setup was a breeze and you have the option have having it standing up instead of laying lengthwise. I loved that I had the option of either having a digital version or a digital version. I chose the disc version because you. Have the option of downloading games and also new PS5 games and older PS4 games. I really look forward to years of enjoyment.

Love this thing well worth the money. Sad they're so hard to get your hands on one but if you do then congrats man.

Got this for my boyfriend. He absolutely loves it! It is a little too big and awkward, but very sleek and pretty regardless.

Love my ps5 main issue would be storage capacity other than that i couldnt love without it!

Much faster than PS4 Worthy upgrade. The physical unit is quite large and does not easily fit in typical media consoles.

So far so good! Easy setup and instructions. Happy the system can lay on its side for it to fit in my media system. It does generate a lot of heat so make sure you have room to vent it! Controller is great and I love the ease of play. I wish the controller charging cord was longer so I could charge while I play and charge at the same time.

Great speed and graphics. Compatible with many TV. The hdr is awesome.

This is a big upgrade from my OG PS4 that is still running. Game load times are amazing and the clarity and responsiveness is a welcomed changed with the current state of SSDs. Would love to add to the storage already given but for now have all my PS4 titles on my external. The new changes to controller feed back on ps5 versions is pretty unique and cool. Takes a bit of getting used to but can't wait for GT7 to drop and feel even more while racing. GT sport plays flawlessly.

Amazing, I remember the excitement I felt finally being able to get it in my cart at 4am. It was really hard to get but waking up at 4am is another level of dedication to get a console. However, it's absolutely beautiful and it works perfectly and so far have had little to no problems. The problems were fixed by software updates so far. Everything works smoothly and the console is extremely quiet. Runs games perfectly. It's definitely worth the hype and worth trying to get.

The digital version is very good as it is cheaper and I purchase most games online. Very nice design and performance

I recently bought this a year ago and this item is the best console I have ever gotten from bestbuy, first the support on getting this item was through the roof. Everything was handed correctly, nothing was broken. It’s been the best purchase I have bought since this consoles has some great games on it.

Absolutely worth the money. Been a PlayStation fan since PS1. Those console is fast, and the graphics are amazing.
