Launch day hype! Got ps4 on launch and didn’t realize PS5 would be even more scarce. So far amazing. Still in the skeleton phase with developing and promising features. Haptic feedback controller is pure joyful. So far have only experienced the PS5 auto shutdown in middle of Mile Morales during game play once. Nothing was loss but it was annoying having to rebuild saved data that took like 20-30 minutes.

Played the one good game on it. Collects dust really well.

Incredibly powerful machine. Blows my PS4 out of the water. No more lag on unoptimized games, smooth animations, and my personal favorite improvements-- no more jet engine fan cooling and no excess heat in the room. At only $100 more than the PS4 at release, this is a no brainer. The only caveat is waiting for new games to release in 2021 but it supports the majority of PS4 games while you wait.

Great upgrade. Doesn’t take long at all to load anything, and is as quiet as a mouse.

True next gen experience. I upgraded from a day 1 PS4 to PS5 and man the jump was jarring at first but spectacular visual experience. Games will only get better. There are some cons though with storage (kinda small) and some complaints on battery life of controllers. I have not experienced any of these but they have been reported so good to keep in mind. If you can find one you will not be displeased.

I bought this just to play Final Fantasy 7 remastered, and it was well worth the purchase!

INCREDIBLE machine. I have a $1500+ PC that cannot push 4k 60 so this is truly magic. I can't believe how far consoles have come since I was younger. What a time to be a gamer! You really can't go wrong with either console this generation but wow this PS5 is exactly what I hoped it would be as a long time Playstation enthusiast. And I imagine you will feel the same. Overall I love my PS5. The games load super fast except for NBA 2K. I don't recommend using the rest mode due to it will crash your PS5 after a while. The battery life on the controller sucks. As more and more updates come in, the system is getting better.

The unit has performed well. Sony has kept up the updates and it plays the games without any problems. IT moves a ton of air so you will need to blow out the fan from time to time to keep the noise down. I use it most as a media station as it give a great UHD visual and audio experience for watching movies.

I think that the playstation 5 delivers on the general premise of the idea that Sony was selling to us, this console is very fast, has great graphics, and good styling. But I'd be lying if I said that this was a fully necessary purchase at the time of writing this review.

Well worth the wait. Graphics are beautiful and it runs flawlessly.
