If you want the “WOW” factor when you purchase a new console, pick up the ps5. I did extensive research before deciding on a next gen console, and whereas the Xbox series x can deliver a few more impressive specs on paper, the ps5 is designed to impress. Examples come as soon as you turn it on, it comes pre-loaded with a game that shows off the *insane* new controller features such as full hand haptic feedback (it feels as if objects are falling and being tossed against the sides of the controller), a trigger that changes resistance based on what you’re doing (a bow feels like you are drawing a bow). It also displays the tempest 3D audio, which can be calibrated to your tv speakers. All of the menus feel incredibly intuitive, and Sony has already promised a lot more firmware updates to improve on what I feel is is an already stellar UI. As someone who started on Xbox consoles, I couldn’t be happier about my purchase. And Best Buy was the only place I could snag it!!

Sony's latest fare lives up to the brand that they've created. More horsepower, slightly lacking in games. The adaptive triggers, however, are absolutely amazing on the controller and make for some interesting new experiences. I expect the other large brands to incorporate them into their systems in the future.

Great console, it is definitely an improvement to the PS4. Biggest advantages are the much faster download times, and the haptic feedback on the new controllers are very fun to use. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who can get one, hopefully Sony can get their supply caught up in the near future.

It’s great, was not easy to buy but that’s not the PS’s fault. It’s a joy to play if you can find one. Best buy made the process as easy as possible. The PS itself is huge just an FYI and looks like it should have been some type of WiFi devise. Other than that works well and plays great!

It's a PS5, it's hard to get, and I got lucky enough to cop one. What's left to say? It's a fantastic console, games play and look fantastic, the DualSense controller is the best controller I've ever had in my hands. Best Buy is one of the better places to attempt when there are drops.

Love this very much. Eepecially, the visual enjoyment, the delicate feedback on the tactile sense, the in-place assistance on the auditory sense, and the interesting somatosensory interaction make all simple operations become immersive. Makes you like you are really in the game.

It was commitment to find this disc version. Good hunting.

A giant box of awesomeness. It's not cheap, but it comes in at a fraction of my gaming pc and will run circles around it. Insane graphics and the new controller vibration adds a surprising amount of additional immersion into the PS5 games. If you can find one available and have a spare $500, its a no brainier.

Solidly built console with a few software issues. Future firmware updates should fix a few of the issues but overall it's a good console. Controller is very good and I'd recommend playing Astro's Playroom which comes installed with every ps5. That game while a tech demo, showcases the ps5s Controller at its best.

great counsel. It's a bit more power than my tv can handle so I get screen tearing. I also am not crazy about the HDR so I turned it off. HDR seems a bit full and faded. After turning it off and a few adjustments, it looks stunning. I also have the ps4 pro with a solid state drive and notice a pretty good step up.

Everything runs so much better than ps4 and ps5 games have practically no loading times. My pc is obviously better but for the exclusives and consoles. Ps5 is the best thing to grab. When available at least. Dont settle for the Xbox. All Xbox games can be played on pc so just get a pc if you're an xbox fanboy

Definitely a great next gen system. The load times on new and previous gen games are really fast. The sound quality has definitely improved with the 3D audio if you have a great surround sound but I still would wait until there are better games on the system before purchase. Don't feel like you're missing out.

Fantastic console, easiest one to set up so far. Transition from PS4 was a seamless software transfer, but it does take a little time. I highly recommend either extending your internal hard drive space, or buying and external hard drive. Games take up a lot more space.

Huge improvement to the PS4. Visually looks stunning and performance is a huge plus. No more lengthy loading menus. The unit itself is huge and I wish they had a black version. I was able to find an aftermarket company who makes custom panels to replace the OEM white one for only $60. Overall love the PS5.

daughter asked for this for christmas. she did her homework and got it after a few months of trying to get it online. she plays daily. the ssd storage is limited if you have lots of games. we ended up getting a 5 terabyte external to download our game library. great graphics and tons of fun.

I was able to purchase it online after around 15 mins of trying to add it to my cart. The pickup process was easy, the guy just brought it to my car. I love my PS5, since I only had digital PS4 games I opted for the digital version and I was able to download all the games really easily on the new console.

The PlayStation 5 is great console, awesome graphics, fast load times, but there's no new games to take advantage of the new gen features. Great console but no need to upgrade from PS4 right now.

So incredibly hard to get one of these things, happy to finally have been lucky enough to find one at our local Best Buy for pick up (with the help of the Hot Stock app) I really can’t speak on behalf of any gamer’s as I’m just a parent but my kid is very satisfied lol but so far so good

I just got my brand new PS5 and I absolutely love it! Spider-Man Miles Morales looks absolutely stunning and Astro’s Playroom really makes the dual sense controller shine! I’m so happy I was finally able to get my hands on one and I’m even more excited for all the next gen games to come on the PS5!!!

I love my PS5. The speed and quality is outstanding. I can’t believe how many times it still amazes me with the fast loading times even if the games aren’t enhanced yet. Recently one of my games were enhanced and the loading times are a thing of the past with this next gen console. I highly recommend this item.
