So far so good. The disc drive is extreme loud tho. I haven’t own any console with a disc drive in years since I game on pc and have always opted for digital games but this thing is nice looks weird next to my ps5 digital lol with that big blob

If you only buy games digitally anyways, the PS5 digital edition is $100 cheaper and it looks better. Currently the disc model seems to be much more widely available (about 5 to 1), eventually this will be available and you’ll need to consider the price difference. The ability to purchase games from multiple retailers (more access to sale prices), buy used games, and watch UHD Blu-Ray & Blu-ray is missing from this. But if you only buy digital games anyways and don’t care about the UHD Blu-Ray player, it’s $100 cheaper for an otherwise identical performance.

Had to pick one up for myself since I've been getting my friends and family one before I could. Worth the wait and perfect edition to my collection. Got all my next get gaming now. Just need to get the halo edition xbox!

Can’t believe how hard this is still to find in 2021. I have quite a few games for it but have been putting in hours on my Nintendo Switch. Still, nice to have played both Spider-Man on it and can’t wait to replay God of War and Control on it.

Have had it for nearly 6 months, slowly getting more and more upgrades to old games and new games. Completely worth it to upgrade from previous gen consoles. It’s completely quiet, quick to load games, and just makes gaming so smooth

So far a wonderful machine. A bit of a monster (size-wise) but not really an issue. Could use more hard drive space but putting all the PS4 games on an external drive at least helps until we are able to increase the internal drive space.

Hands-down… One of the best things I have ever purchased. Makes you feel like a kid again if you grew up alongside the PlayStation and wow did this deliver in a way that changes the game. From the imagery down to the controller. Sony wins again.

Huge gamer here and if are reading this you are not likely a gamer since most gamers would not be reading the review. If i had to give pros it would be the exclusive content. Cons its soooooooo big in my entertainment stand.

Hands down the BEST console ever! Highly recommend if you can get your hands on one. Graphics are amazing, comes with several games loaded and is worth every penny spent! We bought three extra controllers so the whole family can get in on the fun.

The console itself is amazing. The only negative thing I have to say is the lack of games to play. I honestly think that people should wait for the ps5 till more content is released. Overall the ps5 is quiet and the graphics is amazing.

Sony Playstation 5 what can I say. It took me a year to purchase 1. The game play and graphics are excellent. Every game I've played is astounding. PS5 is well worth the buy.

Lightning fast! Set up my PS4 pro side by side to compare loading times. Very impressed with what I have. Everything was smooth with setup and had no issue. Full set up of console, updates, and download of New Spider-Man game was done within 20 min.

It took a few refreshes on the page but Best Buy made it easy to purchase it on their website and I was able to snag it on the first try. Pick up the following week was also easy and I was able to suprise my fiance with it. He loves it!!

I was lucky enough to get a preorder for the PS5 and picked it up on launch day and have really enjoyed it. My old PS4 Pro supposedly did 4K so I didn’t think I’d notice the upgrade as much as I have, but the textures really pop on my new 77” LG OLED CX; the HDR looks the same as the PS4 Pro, but it’s nice to have the menus rendered in HDR too. Lighting and ray tracing effects are more subtle, but definitely noticeable in Miles Morales which is a great looking game. The real revelation for me was the controller when I got around to playing Astro’s Playroom - the vibration and adaptive trigger features really come alive with that game vs. Miles Morales and show the next gen potential of the console. I can’t wait to play more games that really take advantage of that. So overall a great upgrade to the PS4 and worth getting if you can find it!

PlayStation does it again, I have owned every sony console from the ps1 to the ps vita. This system is a huge upgrade from the PS4. The controller, the system the games especially from Insomniac and other Sony Studios are amazing.

Luckily I was able to get two. I got one for myself off a sams club drop and I got this one for my friend while he was working. We love the ps5 and next gen. The only downside is all the scalpers out there trying to resell during holiday season.

Man this is one baddddddd system! I had no success with Walmarts release they had so many bots. Bestbuy came through! I bought online and was able to do curbside pickup on Black Friday morning didn’t have to camp! They got the best bot protection!

I searched for weeks non stop day and night to get this bad boy and it did not disappoint. If you are a gamer this is a must have. They really outdid themselfs this time with the interface, graphics, and just all around everything.

Truly the definition of a next-gen Console! Compared to my PS4 slim, the PS5 is extremely quiet plus the load times are comparatively instant. More importantly, I am able to play all of my physical PS4 games.

Obviously the quality of a console will be judged from the games to come in the next few years but the PS5 is off to a great start with Demon's Souls and Spider-Man: Miles Morales. The controller is also the best controller I've ever played with.
