Great performance for the price. Huge upgrade over the PS4 especially for 4K TVs. However, it's massive and the looks are polarizing.

They did it again! Love this beast! Mini computer and finally 120Hz! No more 60Hz! The new Controller is game changing with the adaptive triggers. Much more comfortable in the hand but still has that PS feeling which I love!

The ps5 though a bit tough to get it is definitely worth it in the long run cause of how much of an amazing product it is no loading time the games are amazing and the controller is on a whole different level

First of all it's too huge, second of all 17 lbs!? I literally had to haul this thing to the store to add the warranty and it made me realize how not travel friendly it is. Playstation did amazing but size definitely needs work

The PS5 is definitely worth the price, difficult to get but Best Buy made it easier than others. Includes the best controller I've ever used.

What can I say? This is the best current gen console hands down. The first party titles blow xbones out of the wster... Oh right they don't have any yet. Returnal and demon souls are must purchases with this console.

Fantastic, unique design that can easily be customized. This is the next generation gaming system PlayStation lovers wanted. Purchasing it was a huge headache and I am eager for more gamers to get a taste of this sweet machine.

I bought this for a friend, but I've played it with them. The system runs smoothly and is fairly quiet, the UI is intuitive. They ran out of space quickly on the base console, but they do like that you can use external memory.

Ain’t gonna lie this was worth the spam clicks on the day of pre order, this smacked me into another dimension with the speeds it would load into games. It just sits on my desk awaiting the new adventures that are coming forth.

The PS5 is so much better than i expected. The graphics are amazing, the flow and load time are greatly improved and Best Buy made it easier to purchase with my membership! Absolutely love it.

Felt like i qon the lotto getting one. Jt definitely doesnt play most games at 4k120hz, forget 8k60hz. Regardless tge library is grwat, backwarda compatibility is solid and controllers are amazing.

So glad to finally get a PS5! Best Buy is always my go to and the easiest to get new electronics.. About the console itself, it’s by far the best next gen console! I even use it as my 4K player with no issues.

Let's begin! Pros: ======= 1. Great games: "Spider Man The Ultimate Edition" is recommended for everyone. 2. Blazing fast load times, also super responsive UI. 3. Great and consistent performance in games due to the new significantly more powerful hardware compared to last gen (not going into the TeraFlop discussion). 4. I know the PS5 design is divisive, but I like that it looks like something from the Sci-fi movies. I think the PS5 Digital Edition design is the best looking console ever. 5. Dualsense controller is the best generational leap for controllers. Just play the pre-installed Astro's Playroom and you will know it for sure. 6. Backward compatibility is good but not for all games. Cons: ======== 1. Backward compatibility doesn't work as well as expected: occasional crashes, flickering even with 1st party games like God of War 2018, which received an official patch for PS5. 2. The "Rest Mode" is broken most of the time and doesn't work with all backward-compatible titles (e.g. Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag). 3. The operating system is buggy in other ways as well: got the prompt to go into rest mode while I was playing a game. Several times. 4. No support for VRR and ALLM at launch. Possible support in future system updates. 5. No support for internal storage expansion. On top of that, no way to just store (not play) any PS5 game to any USB external storage you might add. As a result, if you buy only 3-4 AAA PS5 games, you might have to choose which ones to keep due to only ~650GB of usable internal storage. 6. The new operating system removed some of the very useful features that was available on PS4: no support for folders, holding the PS button doesn't give you the shutdown/rest mode menu, etc. Verdict: ========== Since most of the cons (if not all) are just bugs/lack of development, they can easily be fixed in future updates. Once those updates are here, PS5 would be great system to play games on (not to mention the great 1st party exclusive games like Spider Man, Horizon Zero Dawn, God of War, etc.). So, anyone who is not able to get their hands on the PS5 due to high demand, maybe it's not that terrible to wait while these bugs are fixed for a much better and smoother experience.

Best gaming console ever built so far! Graphics are stunning and breathtaking. Make sure you connect it with a higher end 4K TV for maximum performance. Games load very quickly. Excellent job Sony!!

This is the hottest item to get and definitely worth the wait. Loading times are so fast compared to the PS4. Only downside is storage, however if you invest on a NVME SSD that will resolve your issue.

It was a battle getting this bad boy but its so worth it. Games looks phenomenal. I will say some games are pretty laggy but I believe with future updates they'll be ok. Good luck to everyone still looking!!!! You'll find one.

My son loves the ps5 he says it runs very fast and from the ps4 he said the Home Screen is different which is good it nice to have a good change up but overall my son is always on it and having a blast!

Gotit as a gift for my friend who has been trying to "secure the bag" (ps5 slang) since November. She loves it! She can finally play Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart in all its next gen glory! Thank you Best Buy!

Amazing system. Ready for all the awesome upcoming releases. Even looks fantastic when playing with remote play! There is currently a slight lack of content but that will all change this year.

I was able to grab one, two weeks after release and so far its been worth the wait. The quality and performance upgrades are noticeable from set up and game play is AMAZING.
