This would be a home run of a console for me if it was fully backwards compatible like what Microsoft is doing with the Series X. Not too many games are out for it right now and I would love to player older PlayStation titles over hdmi. Plus it can sometimes be a real pain to figure out the upgrade path for PS4 games. I’m also not the biggest fan of the size and shape of the console itself.

I usually game on my pc but have been delighted with the performance on modern titl3s on the ps5. At this price point it's a no brainer. Go for it!

Long long long time gamer here...so my last 20 years has been all Xbox. I got lucky and was able to get a PS5. I love it. I absolutely love it. The load screen is insanely fast, the frame rates the games even ps+ is great. Truthfully I’m sure you are going to get great play out of both systems. For me it was about gaming and less about media. PlayStation gives you that media but it’s not all cluttered like on the xbox. In the end I’m super happy and my kids are having a blast. Crazy to think I started with an Atari and they are starting with a PS5. Isn’t technology cool?

It lasted a year until I had to replace it other than that it’s great

Great graphics smooth gameplay. Only draw back is not enough titles for the actual system, looking forward to Horizon and God of War

Great console. Love it! I wish there war more games that were optimized for the PS5 like new releases, but Sony has made a great console at a great price.

Beautiful and clean design. graphics seem better than the PS4. I am able to watch movies as well. can't wait for new games to come out for this console

Its ok now, will be alot better in a year when they stop making games for current and last gen. The ssd is great, i also really like the dual sense.

So far the game console is great. The PlayStation 5 plays Playstation 4 games and they work fine. The controller is much smoother than the one in PlayStation 4.

Amazing console. Wish it had a 1TB SSD instead of 825GB, and that it could output 1440p. But other than that the console is amazing.

Wow is this console amazing. The speed is unreal and the games play so smooth. It is also great for adults or young gamers. But, no regrets here!!

I’ve been on Xbox for 12+ years now but this PlayStation had me excited about Sony again. I’m happy to be back on PlayStation for the first time since the PS2.

Great console. Would recommend 100%... if there were more games. You can only play PS4 games as of now and I have no doubt Sony will release great first party games like last generation, but right now there's only like 2 killer apps for the PS5: Demon's Souls and Spider-Man Miles Morales... both of which aren't that great (right now). Demon's Souls Remake is GREAT but it's a remaster of a PS3 games... not much of a system seller unless you're a HUGE Souls fan like me. Miles Morales is also a great game but it's such a short game it's hard to recommend the price of a console for it.

Great to have the bluray drive for physical movies and when games go on sale but the console is BIG. Make sure there's room for it.

This console is great with no issues. Not just because im a playstation kind of guy but because it is pretty fast overall.

I mean it's a playstation 5. Not really sure if I even need to say much. Amazing all around and hopefully you can get your hands on one when they come in stock

while it is overall bigger then any other PS my son has had, he is very happy with the machine. just make sure you have enough room for it

Digital is great but disc is better. I’d go for the disc version any day over this. But it’s nice it plays all the same games and doesn’t compromise performance.

Love PlayStation. The system is huge compared to the PS4, but the power this system has is amazing. Definitely worth the buy.

I lucked out and was able to get one; as expected from, the PS5 runs excellent. No issues as of yet to almost a year of use.
