Amazing. I was incredibly lucky to actually have my pre-order go through and got the PS5 on release day. The graphics are amazing, the controller feels great, and the performance is smooth. I switched from Xbox and this is my first PS. Don’t know if I’ll ever go back!

This was hard to get but thanks to following Matt Swider on twitter i was able to land this bad boy. This thing is fast and graphics are amazing. Wish it had like 10 TB of storage. Get one now!

I skipped PS4 entirely so the new interface had a steep learning curve for me, but it's not too tough to maneuver. Got the disc version to play old playstation games but Playstation Plus has most of the PS4 games I wanted to play for free anyways. Controller is awesome. I've held a PS4 controller and was not a fan. The PS5 controller is much more ergonomic than the PS4 controller. I don't get the design hate. It looks fine to me. Although it is insanely tall. I hate that they are so hard to get right now, but be vigilant and you'll score one from Best Buy. I wasn't particularly happy to have someone next to me picking up TWO PS5s at the Fields Ertel Best Buy in Ohio. I know they are in it for the money, but they are also enabling scalpers. I was a little surprised to see generic brown twisty-ties holding the cables together. They are definitely rushing to create these to try to meet demand.

It took 4 months to secure a PS5, but once I got it setup it was definitely worth the wait. The SSD drive is fast, the controller feels sturdy and the haptic feedback is a game changer. The PS5 console is quite large and needs a well ventilated area to keep cool.

Truly a next gen console that is a great upgrade from the PS4. The controller with the haptic feedback is really neat! Graphics are phenomenal when paired with a good 4k TV. It'll be nice when supply is more readily available so there is a larger community.

Best console by far. It's quite does not over heat, disc drive is loud when you throw in a disc but goes away once it loads. Controller is a bit heavyer then the ps4 controller but still is amazing in the hand. Takes awhile to get use to the new ui. Graphics are amazing

I'm actually enjoying the PS5 so far. The controller is comfortable to hold onto, light, and very easy to use, and its rumble is very realistic. The PS5 menu UI is very simple to understand and navigate, the performance is smooth, and I don't hear any noise from the console's fan so far, nor do I feel any heat from it. I even love the textures from the controller and console themselves.

I didn’t get to play to many games on this since I bought it for my fiancé’s uncle. But I did set it up and test out the controller in the play room. I gotta say it’s mind blowing how immersive the controller is. It truly is something I’ve never felt before while playing a game. Overall the UI is really clean and not to hard to use, it takes some getting use to from the PS4. Like you no longer hold the PlayStation but on the controller to bring up the boot down menu. Now you click it once and scroll over to the power button. Not saying it’s complicated or difficult, but definitely different. The transfer process between the PS4 and PS5 was surprisingly really easy to do. Personally I love the weird design on the PS5 I think it looks absolutely beautiful. But other may find it really big and really ugly. Do I recommend, definitely. Gaming is just a different experience.

A very good console with its new haptic features I can feel everything but one thing Sony should work on is getting more out to the world. The PlayStation 5 is definitely worth the hype, the speed and graphics of this console is amazing.

This machine is awesome! Way better then the PS4 and runs a lot faster. The loads screens are basically non existent with a quality looking product. I enjoy this machine and would recommend to anyone. It is a bit big so make sure you have the space to place it.

The Graphics are great. I wish there were more Ps5 games released for the next gen. But the upscale of the ps4 games to this ps5 is actually a little bit of a difference. loading is soo much faster. controller is the best so far.

I was lucky enough to get my PS5 from Best Buy almost on the day the console was released. Nearly two years later, I have been extremely pleased with it's performance and reliability! (knock on wood!) I will say that I use the disk drive far less than I thought I would. This is because we are consuming content more and more on a digital level, leaving physical media in the rear view mirror. As I have recently upgrades storage with an internal SSD, disks are even less necessary. While your internet speed will largely depend on your provider, the PS5 unit handles 5G like a champ and downloads are more than reasonably fast with a 200Mbps connection. With this in mind, if I were to buy a second unit it would likely be the digital edition.

Really good new titles; especially the new Miles Morales Spiderman which looks stunning on the new system. Games load super fadt and no lag on the games I've experienced. The new controllers are a work of art and haptic works really well. Highly recommend!

In my opinion it is the best system so far little bit too big but over all graphics are awesome and it runs super fast and smooth ive had playstation systems since the ps1 and I have love them all so as a fan of sony I have nothing bad to say about this new gen.

I love Playstation, but really didn't like how much storage is taken up by each game on digital....i loved the not having the disc to worry about. But now I'm in need of storage upgrades.

I've been enjoying my PS5! Awesome gaming system! The graphics are great and runs really smooth. It's very quiet too while playing and does not get hot during long gaming sessions. 4k Blu-ray player is a great addition.

Was lucky to preorder a console version on the initial launch day and I’ve waited over a month before I thought it was time to give a proper review. I’d start with the graphics: so far the graphics and performance has been phenomenal, matched with an Lg Oled and the 2.1 hdmi the graphics are insane on games like miles morales Spider-Man and even on ps4 games like gta V and cyberpunk 2077. I’ve read a lot of other ps5 owners complain and their consoles crashing or being bricked due to numerous issues but I’ve yet to encounter that problem. I haven’t had one hiccup and I play almost daily and for hours at a time. No lagging or delayed game play at all. Also the noise level is very nice. It’s not completely silent but it’s not loud by any means, it’s nowhere near the infamous ps4 noises. Honestly can’t think of any cons at the moment. Worth the buy if you can get your hands on one.

This bad boy was hard to come by but since we’ve gotten it through the door..it’s been in constant use by my gaming professional teenagers! It’s a larger console than its predecessor but beastly looking. The only thing is you will require additional or an external hard drive device as once my kids downloaded two games it was already full...we also purchased the console which has disk capacity so we could make use of the games we already had. Otherwise kids are loving it and it was worth the wait! I just want to say Thank you to Best Buy for being true to their word and providing product with sufficient notice and perfecting the process that all other online sites were not able to do...we were able to secure this console on the second drop after launch date and picked up in-store with no issues a week later! Amazing service definitely a loyal customer after this experience!

Great system! Turns on and runs smoothly. Every game plays very smooth even though I don’t have the best cables/accessories to get the maximum capability from the console.

I was fortunate to be one of the first to get my PS5. Excellent load times. The graphics and sound are outstanding on 4K resolution and home theatre system. Library of available games is impressive Controller with feedback is greatly improved over PS4.
