The only negative I have to say about this unit, however it does not warrant a star reduction, is this unit is huge and it is an eye-sore. You must make sure that you do not place this unit inside a cabinet and that there is enough ventilation as this unit does get hot quickly.

Additionally, I love the haptic feedback and trigger resistance on the controllers. It brings a new level of immersion to games that utilize the function that has never before been possible. Feeling the tension of a bow and arrow as you draw the string back only adds to the realism of the experience. The PS5 is an upgrade over past generation game systems in nearly every way possible and is well worth the investment. With the PS VR 2 now available and exclusive only to the PS5, it is just one more reason to pick up this system. If you don't have one yet, go buy one! What else can I really say...It's a PS5. I've been waiting to get one for 2 years and it's finally here. Yes, It's as big as I hoped it wouldn't be but the trade off is, now we are gaming on a futuristic system with futuristic performance. I use it with the stand vertically so yes, there appears to be a small space shuttle on my TV stand but a very nicely designed one. Okay now for the Dual Sense: It is just amazing all around. One way to describe the new L2/R2 buttons is, if you're driving a car on lets say GTA V; the feedback on the triggers resemble the resistance of pushing on a gas pedal or brake pedal. There are a few older games that have been upgraded to use the Dual Sense's enhanced triggers, but it doesn't feel the same as it does for the current-gen games that were created specifically for this technology. Nonetheless, Sony never fails to leave me in awe. If you can finally get one go ahead. You won't regret it.

I traded in my very loud PS4 Pro for the PS5. Best Buy had a deal where they were offering more money than I could get locally or selling it online. The biggest benefit I’ve liked about the PS5 is how quiet it is while still running games at a higher fidelity or higher frame rate. I finished Immortals Fenyx Rising on the PS5 and with 60fps, it was a much preferred way of playing than at 30fps. Combat and the whole game was just so much more fluid and reactive. The load times, even for most old games, are VASTLY improved. Fast travel in Immortals or Hogwarts Legacy is about 1-3 seconds vs up to a minute or more on the PS4 Pro.

Lets be honest, the ps5 is definitely an upgrade without a dbout. The UI (User interface) takes a second to get used to. But for speed and preformance, it is really fast. It may not be as gast as the latest xbox, but it keeps up. I do wish the design was a bit smaller on the size but for the masive cooling equipment it has and how quiet it is, is very nice. I do really like that it can be cleanable by anyone and you can also add a SSD for even more additional storage. All in all the PS5 is a step up and i recommend it to anyone wanting to still upgrade. I waited 5 years to actually upgrade from a PS4 Pro to a PS5 (so yeah definitely worth it!)

An absolute, complete upgrade from my old PS4, the PS5 is a wonderful console. Where I once saw loading times of up to 5 minutes, I now only sit for less than 1 before loading into Borderlands 3. My PS5 arrived at my doorstep in perfect condition - not a single scrape, scratch, or smudge! Controller works flawlessly, although the adaptive triggers take some time to get used to. The only drawback is the sheer size of the PS5 - it is almost double the size of my PS4!
