I wasn’t intending on upgrading to a PS5 until the pro was released. However, my PS4 Pro (Death Stranding edition) was experiencing some wifi connectivity issues. I only had the special edition one for two years and I had to send it in for repairs, causing me to lose all of my data. Because I play with my friends a lot as downtime after work or on the weekends, my hand was forced at that point. I couldn’t operate efficiently with the constant connectivity problems. That being said, I’m glad I switched to the PS5. The load times are about 1-2 seconds long (compared to my old load times at 30 seconds to 1 minute), the graphics are excellent and the controller features are quite an upgrade. The only downside is how LARGE it is. I lay it down horizontally (it’s actually better for your console just an FYI) and it does take up a significant amount of space. But that’s the ONLY con to this system. Now I can display my Death Stranding Playstation and game with friends without worry. I also like how you can switch the color plates on these consoles. I bought the black side plates to give it a blacked out look - very cool!

Its fantastic. A true upgrade over PS4. Its incredibly quiet and, with proper ventilation, does not produce much heat. Games and apps load nearly instantly, especially when using the quick resume function to immediately be brought to the last instance of your play.

The PS5 is an absolute game-changer! The graphics are stunning, the load times are insanely fast, and the gameplay is incredibly smooth. The DualSense controller takes immersion to the next level with its haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. I love how seamlessly it runs even the most demanding games. I bought it for my son as a birthday present, he used to share a ps4 with his sister so we got him the new generation one. The setting up was easy for him since he only had to log the psn profile he used before, and he can keep playing ps4 games they already own since it is backwards compatible, so it is a smooth transition for when he stars getting new games or even the ps5 exclusives. He loved it and so far hasn't had any problems with it

Best graphics I have ever seen! The system is super fast and and exceeded my expectations. I had been bored of video games for a while now but I’m hooked again thanks to the PS5. System looks awesome it’s a little bulky but fits where I wanted to put it. Looking forward to some of the new releases coming out!

Really enjoy the console, it’s a lot quieter than my ps4 pro and I can play all day with no issues. The UI is a little confusing at first if your used to ps4 but everything is smooth, things don’t take forever to load and i it’s pretty cool that you can jump right back in to the game where you left off.

Runs smooth and love the look, happy to have a PlayStation for all the exclusive games.

My second Playstation system since the PS3 and its fantastic the ui is easy to navigate through. The games bootnup quickly and so far its very quiet. The backwards compatibility with a PS4 is another great feature I can play the games I missed last generation along with this current generation.

The PS5 and VR Worlds is awesome! The PS5 design is sleek and it loads games quickly. VR was not what I was expecting! I can’t believe it tracks our eyes and it’s so much better than I imagined. Both the PS5 and VR are well worth the money.

This is one of the best purchase I have ever made all my gaming open fast and it runs really smoothly and I can’t stop playing it’s just the best that there is.

Finally got one and I’m very impressed! The graphics are next level and there are so many games I want to play. The design is also very sleek. Sometimes I catch myself just looking at it from across the room. I definitely recommend getting one for yourself.

We really like this PS5. My son says that it is much better than the PS4. He says it is faster and the graphics are much more realistic. The one thing that is concerning me is that the console gets really hot after about an hour of game play. I am going to look into a fan for it to see if that helps.

This console is awesome, I can play anything and it’ll be ghost quiet and really fast

2 years after the console launched this console is relatively easier to get your hands on , Its not only faster but quieter coming from a PS4 , only problems I have is console storage definetly recomment getting either a external storage or a ssd. Also it is a big console so make some space before purchasing

Bought this for the purpose of playing Final Fantasy XVI and other Square Enix titles in the future. It's very powerful compared to the PlayStation 4. The load times and framerate boosts are very beastly. If they ever make another model, I hope it is slimmer/smaller.

Was excited to find out my local bestbuy had these in stock again and even more so when I was able to buy one. I bought one without much expectation as I haven't been into gaming in years. So far, I am impressed and very happy with it. The controller is amazing, buttons are sensitive, and yet simple to use despite the advanced features of the new gen. The games load right up with amazing speed. Like when you insert your disc or if it's a download game and you simply go to "resume" or "play" on your PS5 home screen it simply pops right up and into play as if it was a minimized computer tab. The consoles usually share a wide array of titles but so far I did buy one PS exclusive "Ghosts of Tsushima" and it's amazing. The graphics are so good it's like playing a movie and it's in depth with lots to offer. You can also play your blu ray discs, PS4 titles, and run streaming apps like Netflix on this device. Well worth it.
