Quicker, prettier, better! The speed has defininitely improved. Visuals are amazing. Such a cool futuristic look.

I've had my PS5 Digital Edition for over a week now and I'm very impressed with it. The DualSense controller is a revelation in gaming immersion. In games that support haptic feedback, vibrations in the DualSense are based specifically on what's happening onscreen. Reloading a revolver in Borderlands 3? You'll feel a series of small, targeted vibrations that correspond perfectly with the reloading animation on your screen. The adaptive triggers are excellent as well. I don't have any experience with real guns, so I can only guess that the small bit of resistance every time I fire Jesse Faden's gun in the PS5 version of Control must be based on the way it feels to pull a real trigger. It all makes for an unprecedented tactile experience. Beyond that, playing games on the PS5 in Performance Mode is fantastic. I've been playing in this mode on a 1080p television with nothing but crisp visuals and smooth gameplay. God of War Ragnarok (the game that was included with this bundle) looks especially nice. I imagine the Resolution Mode is good for people who have 4K televisions, but the smoothness of Performance Mode is where it's at for me. Because this is an all-digital console, I recommend buying extra storage for it in the form of a supported NVMe SSD with a heatsink included. I went with the WD_BLACK 2TB SN850X, but go with whichever one feels right to you. To me, the PS5 looks nice without that awkward disc drive bulge on one side. If you care about your console's aesthetics, the PS5 Disk Edition is the way to go.

Oh man, the PS5 is absolutely amazing! It's got some seriously impressive specs and graphics that take gaming to a whole new level. The loading times are super fast, and the DualSense controller with its haptic feedback and adaptive triggers adds a whole new level of immersion. Plus, the game library is expanding with some awesome titles. It's definitely a console worth getting excited about! Have you had a chance to try it out yet?

I loved it because it’s so fun to play with and it’s way better than Xbox and just the feeling of the controller are playing Spider-Man two and Fortnite. It’s just so good I recommend it way too much can’t wait for the PS six

So excited. The difference between the PS4 and the PS5 is amazing. The clarity is unbelievable. Playing either games or Blu-ray is crystal clear and the sound is like being apart of games and movies.

The PS5 is a workhorse for all types of digital media. I am extremely pleased with this console. The haptic feedback and tactile triggers on the controller are immersive and very useful in the games that include it. HDMI ARC worked without any additional configuration so I am able to use the PS5 as my main media center now as it running on an aging SmartTV whose performance is slowing. Controller battery life could be a little better and Ray Tracing performance doesn't match up to my PC, but m PC cost 4-5x as much so that is to be expected.

Amazing graphics, loading speeds seem faster, quite. Wireless controllers stay charged for hours.

Now that I finally have this console, I can honestly say I love it. My games look amazing, some still ps4, but upscaled. The console is also whisper quiet, a much improvement over my stock ps4, which sounded like a jet engine at times. Since most my game library was on an expanded external hard drive, i was able to plug and play my games from the hard drive on my Ps5 with no issues. I look forward to expanding my library to include new cutting edge games. Only downside, the console hard drive spac, which I will look into expanding.

The Ps5 is an amazing console. It’s fast, looks cool, and an overall great console. I love the haptic feedback on the Ps5 controller not to mention the touchpad on the top. I also want to mention the lights in the controller that react to what’s going on in the game. I just wish the lights on the console weren’t just white all the time. I wish they would react to what’s going on in the game just like the controller does. Other than that the console is great for someone who loves gaming. I use it all the time so I love how I can use it nonstop for about 5 hours until it starts overheating. Which I shouldn’t even be playing video games for 5 hours straight. I love how the controller needs to be charged by a cord and not charged by AA batteries. I like the fact that when I’m done playing, I can just plug it in and it be ready for tomorrow. Also the fact that I can plug it in and it will charge while I’m playing video games at the same time. I do wish it came with more storage due to the size of video games nowadays but almost a terabyte of storage is great for me because I only play a couple of games at a time. Sony really went all out on this console and it’s a great way to escape from the real world and just play your favorite games with your friends for hours on end. I would 100% recommend this to anyone trying to upgrade while not spending a fortune on an entire pc. I also love to mention the fact that the Ps5 comes with a stand that you can stand the Ps5 up on, or sit it on its side without worrying it’s going to get scratched. It’s a great product.

Upgraded from the PS4. Took forever but I these machines finally were available for purchase at retail prices. Shame on anyone who paid more buying from a scalper. Very happy with the new interface and the learning curve is not too bad coming from the ps4. I did upgrade the storage by adding a 4TB SSD. Now I can store all kinds of games. The load times on the games is awesome.

As a longstanding PC gamer, I had to write a review to say how impressed I have been with the PS5. I am very, very happy I decided to purchase a console, and even happier I chose the PS5. Specifically, I wanted to play Gran Turismo, which as a game has exceeded my expectations. Since that first purchase, I have added a few other games that I have been equally pleased with! To name a couple, Tiger Woods 2k23 and FIFA 2023 have been so much fun to play with my family (and by myself). At the end of the day, I am more inclined to turn on my PS5 and play Gran Turismo than attempt to play a racing game on my PC because playing on the PS5 requires little to no setup as far as the controller settings go. I couldn't easily setup a controller for my PC for racing games, and I don't have one of the steering wheels, although, maybe one day. I will always prefer playing competitive FPS games like CS:GO on my PC, but having a PS5 has a lot of added benefits I didn't even consider when making my purchase. Hopefully I didn't buy the PS5 right before it is upgraded, but even if I did I will remain happy with my purchase for years to come. I would also like to add a comment on the benefit of buying the PS5 from Best Buy. Personally, when it comes to buying a product like this (without going into all of the specifics), I feel more confident buying from Best Buy when it comes to knowing I am getting a firsthand genuine product than saying purchasing the console off of Amazon. I love Amazon for some things, but it was also nice to be able to pick up my item in person on the same day as I decided to pull the trigger. Amazon has fast shipping but nothing beats driving a few miles to pick up what you want when you want it. I won't be returning this item. Great purchase and highly recommended to the first time console buyer! One more comment, I installed a 2TB PS5 officially endorsed SSD. It was very easy to do this. I quickly filled up the onboard storage, so I would recommend considering this option on the front end to avoid compromising performance when it comes to storing more than 5 games on your console. PS5 has guides on their website on how to install the SSD, just make sure you get one that meets their required specifications!

Best console I’ve ever had. Run quiet, smooth and have had no issues so far.

A month in and I have loved this machine. I have been an Xbox guy since the original, but when the cpu in my Xbox One failed and the fact that all the exclusive games I wanted to play were on Playstation, I made the switch. This thing is huge and I admit that the lack of symmetry due to the disc drive bugs me, but the system hooked up easily and I have put in many, many hours without issue. I wish it had more storage built it, but it wasn't too expensive to add more.

Hands down best purchase I've made in gaming systems. Best load times I've seen on a gaming system, almost seemless transitions. Expandability for internal memory is exceptional and economical. Allows for one of the best programable controllers as an addon the Dual Sense Edge. Easy to navigate, continuous software updates for both performance and basic quality of life improvements to the systwm. Beautiful resolutions for 4k and true 60fps performance.

Excellent machine! Sony has outdone themselves with this PlayStation and Best Buy makes it so easy to buy and pick up at store. I have the disc version and while I think a lot of folks are fans of the digital edition, the disc version is very sleek and versatile! The vertical mount is great, it fits on my mantle great and produces a strong picture and plays games very smoothly!
