    Picked one up knowing the the “Slim” version will be replacing this one. Years down the road I have a feeling this one is going to be the preferred version since the new version needs to verify with wifi for the disk to work, every time it’s disconnected or restart console.

    This particular PS from Sony is really a revelation. It can easily play the blue ray DVD just another feature for you to go for it!! The finish and the feel is quite good and looks like a premium product. I have no complaints regarding this product whatsoever. Its a good one too.
