I bought the PlayStation 5 from Best Buy online in December and picked it up in store. The PS5 is everything you’ve come to know and love from Sony. The controller is unparalleled in the industry. I was an X-Box 360 guy, and then switched to the PS4, and am continuing this console generation with the PS5. 1 month with the new PS5 and I couldn’t be happier. Worth the purchase!

Load times are down, console is upgradable, ports are good, still has a drive. All around, the PS5 is a competant playstation without an eye watering price (if you can score one at MSRP). Its still an investment, but with backwards compatibility to PS4 games, theres a huge catalogue to explore. Overall, its an amazing machine.

I love my PS5. Getting one has been a nightmare, but it is definately worth the wait and money. Ive played on a few older PS4 devices that were slow when loading games and frequently had crash issues. The PS5 has faster load times to get your games open or to go to messages from friends. I am not a fan of the design personally and the controller arrow buttons are a bit sensitive. For example, I play battlefield 5 and prefer tanking and airplanes. Sometimes when your trying to repair the arrow pad requires you to press down to do the slow repair but halfway through it will use up your quick repair which is the left arrow. Bit frustrating but its whatever. I have also had issues with the controller where my movemwnt is delayed from the joystick so turning left and right looks like extreme slow mo sometimes.

This is a early Birthday/ Christmas gift for my husband and he loves it. From his experience with all the other Playstation this one is by far the best with the coolest features; the home button's pop-up sub menu is a cool feature, the graphics, speed of the system, it allows you to do other things while you play and the bonus is the fact that the controllers have a microphone.

Amazing console can’t wait for new games to come out! Very fast and clear!

I have been playing on this machine for the last 6 days and I'm beyond impressed. I owned a PS4 since its launch and while it was a fantastic console, the PS5 is just brilliant. The SSD loads the system, menus, and games crazy fast. The PS5-centered games will come along,..but even PS4 games look better, load faster, and at a better quality than on the PS4. You won't regret it.
