Never played the PS4

I am coming straight from the PS3. It is night and day. Right now I am enjoying all the PS4 games that I never got to play and this games are much cheaper. It will most likely be a year from now before I play my first PS5 game. This is because none of my tv’s have a 2.1 HDMI input. So for now I will enjoy my new PS5 (PS4) until I buy a new tv. Plus it gives game maker time to come out with games that take full advantage of this new controller.

Lives Up to the Hype
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setting aside the insane amount of effort it takes to get a hold of the PS5, it is an incredible gaming console that lives up to the hype. I got it as a b-day gift for my bf, and he hasn't stopped playing in 3 days despite telling me that he wasn't into the PlayStation consoles when he didn't know I bought it and it was on the way. More shockingly, I even enjoy watching my bf play and jumping in every once in a while to play Gods of War lol.

Very High Quality Product and Worth the Price

The launch games are good, the backwards compatibility is a huge plus as well. Everything has been great, the only problem I have had is with the storage space. 825 GB is not enough with the current line up of games. And at the moment we have to wait before we can upgrade the storage. Purchasing an external hard drive for PS4 games is practically a must. I would still recommend buying the PS5 (when it is in stock and not from a reseller).

I skipped the ps4 but had an Xbox and Xbox one x. I had some issues with last gen games. Specifically cod black ops 3 on 4 player local split screen zombies would just crash out of nowhere. We weren't even able to play it really. But everything new has been flawless. The controllers are the best its literally insane how awesome they feel with ps5 titles.

Amazing Console

As usual, PlayStation has done it again with the PS5. Superb gaming quality that immerses you into whichever game you’re playing. The DualSense controller is truly awesome and can’t be described until you feel it for yourself. Everything from the smoothness of the games, the user interface, the super fast load speeds, and so much more proves Sony put their work into this console. Extremely happy with this purchase from a loyal PlayStation fan!

They are the original HYPE beasts. The adaptive controller is NeXT level .. rip Xbox. However like any new device it has its flaws.... minor issue with the loud fan noise on startup, but then goes quiet after about 2 minutes. 2nd SMALL issue I have is the controller dies fairly quickly.. I would say after 6-7 hours of playtime it starts to die. I guess the vibration and trigger effects drain the battery but no big deal.. LOVE this system!!! –Roman1

It’s not only a gaming powerhouse but also a great 4k media center with all the streaming services in full 4k HDR + 4k blu ray. The controller is the star of the show. Games like COD give a great sense of the pressure sensitive triggers. Different guns have different amounts of trigger resistance. I highly encourage u try out AstrosPlayroom to get a feel for all the new features of the new dual sense controller. U won’t be disappointed
