Very happy how best buy handled it on launch day! Overall the console is great. Very fast. Controller is truly next gen. And games look amazing. I still find myself reaching for my phone whenever i die in a game expecting a loading screen but nope. That's something to get used too.

Really love the PS5! Sony out did themself! I love the design and the way it looks. Performance is great, and love how fast it is transitioning between games! Would recommend to all my friends to buy..if you can get one.. anyways! Best Playstation Yet!

This was the quickest and easiest way to purchase a ps5 when all were sold out. I am grateful that I chose to use Best Buy as an option to purchase rather than other stores. I managed to obtain two ps5s and have been enjoying every bit of it. The process was so easy and not difficult!

The console has a really unique design. It is also very large (larger than the original Xbox One). The controller feels very ergonomic and has a unique vibration system. You can feel the difference in materials that your character walks on in Astrobot (a free game pre-installed to the system!). At one point in Astrobot, my character turned into a spring and it actually felt like I was pressing a spring with the controller's triggers. I'm very excited to see where devs take this. My main complaint with the design is that there is piano gloss finish on the front. This wouldn't be much of an issue but there is a usb port in the center. This allow for the glossy finish to be scratched very easily. As much as I like piano gloss, I would have rather had a matte finish around the port. The UI is also great. It feels like they combined the best aspects of the PS4's interface. Overall, this is a very good console. I'm excited to see what devs do with it!

Amazing console, Huge upgrade from the PS4. The graphics are incredible and the gameplay is smooth. Games load very quickly, there's basically no wait time. Storage could be better. Looks very sleek and is a large console so you'll need a bit of space.

This this is massive. Absolutely huge. That said, it's the new PlayStation and it's absolutely the best one. The controller is comfortable. The haptic feedback is awesome. Games take no time to load. PS4 games work on it. If you can find one, you'll be happy with it.

The PS5 is truly an incredible console. The value for the cost is just simply unmatched in every regard. It manages to be: an improved PS4 Pro, a PS5 capable of playing gorgeous new games with unprecedented levels of graphical fidelity, and a 4K Blu-ray player all for one low cost of $500. Plus a dedicated controller with revolutionary new technology. The way the controller interacts by shaking, vibrating and sometimes even tapping at your hands with the powerful HD rumble, and the adaptive analog triggers that change sensitivity on the fly, just immerses you in the game more than ever before. Add this with the inclusion of a high speed SSD for near-instantaneous loading and... Wow. Stock for the console is low right now, which is to be expected of all console launches. But if/when you can get you one, GET YOU ONE. There are a plethora of new gaming experiences to be had with this beast over the coming years and I'm excited to see what's in store!

Very frustrating pre-order process. Hitting refresh dozens of times and finally got lucky to get my order processed. Product is top notch. Premium build, lighting fast, and great controller. Console is the largest I've ever seen personally...have a space carved out for it.

My current setup is the PS5 on a B9 LG OLED. I moved up from a PS4 Pro. The PS5 looks great on the TV. It will play “4K” content at 120fps where the PS4 had a noticeable drop in hitting a consistent 60fps. Spider-Man(s) look great, Van Guard looks great. Load times are very fast, even from PS4 games on the hard drive. I still use the PS4 pro often, so I have a good comparison of experiences. I am very happy with my purchase. That being said, if I didn’t have a TV/monitor that allows the PS5 to be fully utilized, I don’t know if it would be worth the purchase? The graphics are better, but definitely not the same jump I remember from previous game system generations. I am excited to get the adapter for PSVR to see if there is a difference. The Pro version made a huge difference, I’m hoping the PS5 makes a similar change.

I was trying for about a month to land the new PS5 and was lucky enough to catch a Friday online restock here at Best Buy. It made me so happy. The system itself is well worth the hassle of trying to get one. Super fast, incredible graphics, and everything u would expect from the 5th iteration of the greatest game consoles ever made. I just with it had more storage. It’s severely lacking in that area and we have to wait until who knows when for the system update that will allow us to add more internal storage which of course will cost us a pretty penny as well. I have already had to purchase 2 external WD Black SSD portable drives for extra storage and those set me back another $350. But being able to play PS4 games directly from the external drives with no lag has been a godsend. Continue your quest to land a unit and it will happen. Best Buy has a tendency to restock online on Fridays so keep an eye out.

Idk where to start graphic are beautiful, and if you have the Sony x900h Tv even better , controller is crazy you feel every movement and sound, one down side is it’s big so make you it has room to breath and yes no more jet engine sound had it almost a week and no sound at all

Stellar speed and graphics. The controller has greatly been improved as well. Initially had a crash/reset here or there but the console reboots so fast it’s almost like it didn’t happen. Haven’t experienced them since the last update either. Great fun and good luck gaming!

The graphics are awesome. I have had no issues with performance. Gets played daily. I am glad I was able to get the PS5, since they are now impossible to find at a regular price. I wish there were more PS5 games for this console and it had more storage.

Amazing. I was incredibly lucky to actually have my pre-order go through and got the PS5 on release day. The graphics are amazing, the controller feels great, and the performance is smooth. I switched from Xbox and this is my first PS. Don’t know if I’ll ever go back!

Do you really need to read this? But I'll still say it. This is AMAZING, I have owned every console available. This is the biggest leap in "next gen" I've experienced. The jump from ps3 to ps4 was whatever, same with xbox 360 to xbox one. This... THIS, the controller is the most amazing thing. Spend a good amount of time playing astros playroom, it will show you how amazing the peice of tech your holding is. The controller is a huge step, I don't think xbox even attempted this. Not to mention the day tracing. A huge jump in graphics and realism. I was playing (watching) mile morales, there was a few times I had to remind myself it was a video game. Over all of the years, I could always tell it was a game, but it's getting to the point its a challenge now. Hands down my most favorite tech buy in the last 5 years, if not ever. If you can get it, don't hesitate, you won't regret it.

I’m totally impressed with the PS5!! Graphics are beautiful and amazing; the load times are virtually non-existent. Love the controllers! Have zero regrets and want to thank BestBuy for the opportunity to purchase, as a total tech member!

I skipped PS4 entirely so the new interface had a steep learning curve for me, but it's not too tough to maneuver. Got the disc version to play old playstation games but Playstation Plus has most of the PS4 games I wanted to play for free anyways. Controller is awesome. I've held a PS4 controller and was not a fan. The PS5 controller is much more ergonomic than the PS4 controller. I don't get the design hate. It looks fine to me. Although it is insanely tall. I hate that they are so hard to get right now, but be vigilant and you'll score one from Best Buy. I wasn't particularly happy to have someone next to me picking up TWO PS5s at the Fields Ertel Best Buy in Ohio. I know they are in it for the money, but they are also enabling scalpers. I was a little surprised to see generic brown twisty-ties holding the cables together. They are definitely rushing to create these to try to meet demand.

It took 4 months to secure a PS5, but once I got it setup it was definitely worth the wait. The SSD drive is fast, the controller feels sturdy and the haptic feedback is a game changer. The PS5 console is quite large and needs a well ventilated area to keep cool.

Best console by far. It's quite does not over heat, disc drive is loud when you throw in a disc but goes away once it loads. Controller is a bit heavyer then the ps4 controller but still is amazing in the hand. Takes awhile to get use to the new ui. Graphics are amazing

I'm actually enjoying the PS5 so far. The controller is comfortable to hold onto, light, and very easy to use, and its rumble is very realistic. The PS5 menu UI is very simple to understand and navigate, the performance is smooth, and I don't hear any noise from the console's fan so far, nor do I feel any heat from it. I even love the textures from the controller and console themselves.
