Regardless whether or not you’re looking for a single player experience, multiplayer, co-op, or anything like that, the PS5 is a great console. It has incredibly quick loading times and the graphics are stunning without compromising any performance whatsoever. I’m mainly a racing game player, and being able to play with f1 with ray tracing enabled and even Gran Turismo VR is out of this world. Would recommend for everyone that can and wants to get it! Overall a great console, coming from someone who owns all new-gen, old-gen, and PC, the PS5 is one of the best!

Defective item and best buy refused to secure an exchange

At a very affordable price the PS5 delivers a great performance. While not the massive leap in graphical quality that the PS4 was from the PS3, it’s still a substantial improvement. The biggest improvement I noticed were lightning fast load times, allowing me to click on a game and begin playing in about 10 seconds where it might have been 30 before. The controller is also a stand out feature, implementing dynamic sound and vibrations that add significantly to the experience then I expected.

Oh, you won't believe how groundbreaking the PS5 is! First off, it's got this insanely powerful custom CPU and GPU combo that takes graphics to a whole new level of realism.And get this, it can handle 4K resolution…Can you imagine how mind-blowing the games will look on that? Plus, the super fast SSD practically eliminates those annoying loading times, so you can jump right into the action. No more waiting around! The PS5 is gonna redefine gaming im telling you.

I haven’t owned a console since the PS3… was not impressed with the PS4, no backwards compatibility, the cooling fan sounds like a jet engine, and overall just wasn’t worth it to me. Now that the PS5 is more readily available I gave in and got one. Iam 1000% happy with my purchase. It is an amazing system and with its fps and ray tracing 3D audio backwards compatibility and other features the PS5 has knocked it out of the park, the only issue I have is with the 825gb advertised storage capacity is actually only around 650 or so. But with the expandable ssd port you can upgrade the storage to 1TB, 2TB, or 4TB. WD blacks sn850 is officially licensed by Sony and was my first go to, but after reading up on it I switched it out for the 4TB Seagate Firecuda 530 and couldn’t be happier. I also added the WB black P40 external ssd to keep all saved games to keep the console storage and ssd storage to a minimum. It also helps and is quicker to send games from the external ssd to the internal and vise versa quicker than it would be to redownload the game. So I recommend an external ssd for all your ps4 games as they can all be launched and played from the external ssd. I’ve switched the console covers to black, got 2 dual sense edge controllers, and also went and got the PS VR2…. I’m blown away with the exclusive games the PS5 has from Spiderman, to the upcoming Spiderman 2, Wolverine, ect… Sony has done their homework and put out an amazing system and awesome exclusives… can’t wait to see wha true PS5 Pro delivers

Great piece of hardware. This is my first PlayStation (been an Xbox advocate) and I’m glad I joined the team. No complaints other than the system is huge (getting resolved with the slim) and there is no Gamepass which is the best selling point for Xbox. Controllers are really wonderful and add a level of immersion.

Got it 3 days late, and had to fight with customer service to get an estimate of when to expect it after it got delayed. Got home opened it up and the system couldn't even launch Netflix without crashing. Took it back and can't even exchange it, I lost my place in line, any potential discount, and I can't even buy a replacement till the refund is processed in 5-10 days!

I have had the PS5 for as long as its been out and I was lucky enough to get my hands on it. The processing power of the PS5 is unmatched for its price range, having brilliant exclusives that truly show how incredible the console is. Ghost of Tsushima, Returnal, Ratchet and Clank, Spiderman all of these games run perfectley on the PS5 with no drop in quality or performance. Now that Sony released the PSVR 2 you can experience pcvr level performance and enjoyment. The console keeps receiving updates that make it better each update. I love this console it shows how powerful consoles can be even outperforming pcs in certain games. Overall it is brilliant and makes me excited for the ever evolving future of home consoles. You will not regret buying this console.

Upgrading from a PS4. This console is much larger in size with less storage space. I do really like the design and feel of the new controller. Overall, I gave a 4 star review because the console heats up quickly and the fans kick on super loud. I store it in an entertainment stand in the upright position with plenty of space and airflow but I will have to get a cooling fan system for the health of the console.

Product is amazing, and Best Buy did not disappoint! Big upgrade compared to the PS4. I have heard of issues with the console and accessories when bought from other retailers but I have had zero issues with the product via Best Buy, which could be due to proper handling. Definitely recommend to anyone to buy this from Best Buy! The console itself is exactly what I imagined, games run fast and there’s more accessibility features than the PS4. Astro’s Playroom, which is a game that comes default with the console, is also a fun little game showing off the new features within the DualSense controller. Very very cool!

Obviously a huge fan of PlayStation, the console is so beautiful and sleek.
