It truly is a magnificent piece of electronic history! Graphics are awesome! The controller is what blew my mind the most! Playing Astro's playroom soon as I opened it. Literally takes you through all the controller has to offer! You can Literally feel grains of sand hitting the controller when walking through a sand storm! #sick I have the digital version, even though I wanted the disc! But it was hard to come by! So beggars can't be choosers!

Great console. Runs fast. Don't need the disc version now a days when you can download all games.

I haven't purchased a playstation since the PS2 so this experience with the PS5 has been amazing. The graphics are absolutely incredible but I think my favorite part is the controller. There are so many sensations they accounted for in the creation of this and there are some really creative ways to use it in gameplay. The built in game Astro's Playroom is so much fun and was the first platinum trophy. Hope for many more!

This is a long awaited review after a year. I was so lucky to be able to pick this up during a stock drop. My PS5 is still going strong. It's silent and barely makes any noise except for the occasional disc check if you have one in the drive. Everything loads super fast. I can't ever go back to a PS4. I recently just upgraded and added a M2 ssd as well. Can't get any better!

The PS5 proves itself to be both powerful and well-designed, though it might be too big for some setups. A couple of issues hold it back from being a five-star product at launch, but otherwise it's a welcome upgrade over the PS4 and an exciting portal to next-gen gameplay.

Much better performance and quieter than PS4. Dual sense is amazing as well.

This was purchased during the Holiday season and the bots were just ridiculous preventing actual customers looking to purchase. As usual, the Best Buy domain was able to allow me to make my purchase and pickup went through seemless as usual.

Finally got one! Sony has to do better job w/ the memory storage. I dont like the fact that i have to spend additional for something that should be already be included. The size of the system is also too bulky. Other than that, great speed and graphics

The PS5 is hands down a powerhouse is plays ps4 games so smooth gives it the graphical upgrade you would expect not to many PS5 games out to show case the truth power of the PS5 at the moment but I can’t wait to see what PlayStation and game developers have in store I am blessed to have a PS5 with all the craziness going on with the shortages going on and scalpers getting there hands on all the PS5 to make a profit thank you best buy

It's the new Playstation 5. Simply put. It's amazing no surprise. Controller feels great and they truly well thought out every part of it. This console should cost $800-$1000 so at $500 this is literally a steal. The amount of power vs cost is insane. Glad i got this day one. Spiderman, Call of duty all amazing. Controller makes the experience that much better. Highly recommend if you can find one. Everything Sony makes is quality 5 Stars!

I love my ps5. This is the best console I’ve ever played. I am so happy I was able to pick one up from Best Buy on launch day. I was even able to pick it up a day early. That is way I love Best Buy. The Ps5 may look like a humongous WiFi router, but I like the design. It’s very clean. I also love how quiet it is. My ps4 was never this quiet even when I first got it. If you ever get the chance to buy a ps5, you should obviously do it.

The PlayStation 5 is a welcome upgrade from the PlayStation 4. Game visuals and horsepower on the new system are great as well as the quicker load times and snappier UI. The increased resolution and frame rate for many of the new games is easy to appreciate provided you have a TV that can take advantage of the upgrades. The redesigned controller adds to what was already great about it’s predecessor while doing away with some of it’s flaws (like poor battery life due to the always on and not so useful light). The built-in microphone is nice for chatting with friends when you’re too lazy to dig out your gaming headset. Sony did skimp on hardware storage which will not get you far with many modern games. You can use an external drive, but load times will not be as fast and the system seems to be a little glitchy when using an external HDD for some users, causing them to have to reformat their drives. In more rare cases, the external HDD can PS5 to crash and/or fail. The system still is a little rough around the edges. For instance, it could be argued that the UI could use some refinements. Overall though, the system has a lot of potential, there just aren’t a lot of PS5 games to play yet. Fortunately, the PS5 can play most every PS4 game, which should help early adopters pass the time until the system’s first/next killer app is released. Bottom line is the PS5 is great for gaming enthusiasts, well worth the hassle of actually getting your hands on one. But, to those who have not been successful in finding/buying the PS5, you’re not missing much yet.

My only disappointment with the PS5 is the overall storage capacity which is 825GB but you really only can use 667GB for games which is a real bummer. If you have a PS4 with any game discs you have to store those games on a external hard drive to have enough space on your PS5. There’s really not a whole lot of PS5 games available to play as of yet. The graphics are great and the dual sense controller is a great upgrade.

The PS5 is a huge upgrade of the consoles that came before it. Using a super fast SSD for storage, loading times are almost gone completely. Visually, the system can push much higher fidelity visuals than the PS4, but this may be less noticeable depending on the TV you use. The controller is a huge leap forward in technology and when a game takes advantage of it, there is a huge leap forward in immersion.
