Overall the PS5 runs great. The games run smoothly and at steady frame rate. The load times is much quicker than last gen. Also, the controller is vastly improved from the previous model. I haven’t had any issues with my PlayStation. However, it does have some flaws. The main one being not being able to support VRR. Sony said that the PS5 will support VRR. It’s been over a year and that feature has not been added. The other flaw is that it has about 600 GB of storage after the OS is installed. I bought an SSD to expand its storage, but I know not everyone is willing to spend more money to expand the storage as it would probably cost $120 for a 500 GB internal SSD. In all I’m giving 4 stars. it’s an amazing console, but the lack of VRR and small storage capacity is holding it back. Hopefully, VRR comes soon in a software update.

Got this PS5 Digi for my brother in law and he can’t stop talking about how much he loves it. The only thing he said is that this thing is tall and takes up a lot of space vertically but other than that, he’s super happy with it. He says Ghost of Tsushima looks amazing. I recommend pairing with a TV with HDMI 2.1 so you can hit 120hz refresh rate, you’ll never want to go back to 60hz ever again!

Love this system, easy to use and super fast. Compared to the ps4 this is sooo much better

There was plenty of hype surrounding the release and it hasn't disappointed. While it takes up a serious amount of room (pictures don't usually do it justice, it's huge), it runs at a whisper compared to my old PS4. Gameplay is smooth and the controller is familiar, yet feels like an improvement over the last. Just be sure that your viewing device is capable of displaying what this machine is capable of.

Got this for Christmas for my 18-year-old it was truly a surprise for him the graphic is amazing it was worth the hassle on the internet trying to cop this. Not to mention the controller is out of this world. Best Buy has always been my number one store to purchase my electronics from and will always be my number one store to purchase electronic. 10 stars for best buy always coming through for my electronic needs.

IMHO - best gaming system in the world (so far), I prefer discless version since it's more symmetric design, speed is fantastic, games are awesome and beautiful. It was obviously hard to get - but I was lucky at some point to score it from Best Buy. Installed SSD memory to the system and how I have plenty of space to store games.

It is definitely worth the wait. Finally able to play PS5 games(Even though there isn't that much exclusive PS5 games), and able to import all my PS4 games and continue playing where I left off. The PS4 game's graphics look so much more crisp and fluid on the PS5 in games such as "Ghost of Tsushima(By the way, pick this game up if you haven't already)." The faster load times of games are impressive as well.

Maybe too early to tell being only 1 day in but so far so good. Runs silent, which is a huge thumbs up for me. Although, I was willing to withstand "some" fan noise at least just knowing that Sony is using like 5 different types of fans and by some peoples reviews and videos that claim you never really know exactly what you're going to get.....THAT, AND..... my PS4 sounding like my AC/furnace unit running full tilt. Im sure it'll be loud 5 years down the road though but for now I can hear stewart little pass gas in the corner with the ps5 on and running which is good. Moving on.... Stands vertical to save me space, I know i could have done this with the ps4 but just never got around to it so the fact that they give you the option right out of the box is nice for me. Its clean, sleek design others call bulky goes well with what I'm already working with, and I'm not sure whether this is a con or not but my goodness its massive. It definitely stands out, or up i should say since its like a foot and a half tall. I love it, and the controllers are nice too. I know this is all rather relatively a cosmetic review but to delve into my opinions on the performance of the sytem and hardware/software, graphics, frame-rate, processing, etc. would be premature. I will say I have high expectations though, as my mother did for me. Do you think I let her down?? Will Sony let me down?? To that i say rate it 5 stars and stop asking questions

The PS5 has amazing graphics and the loading times are really good too. The console is a lot bigger than expected but I really like the design. As for the controller, I wouldn't say it's better than the xbox one but it sure is a good controller. I'd say the PS5 tops the xbox series X/S but that is just my opinion. I don't have very many games for the PS5 but I can't wait to get PS+ and really start having fun.

This was purchased during the Holiday season and the bots were just ridiculous preventing actual customers looking to purchase. As usual, the Best Buy domain was able to allow me to make my purchase and pickup went through seemless as usual.

60FPS on my couch with a touch of a button!! This is a huge step up from the past gen! Everything is beautiful and the performance is unbelievable for a console! This still isn't PC level but exclusive games will make this the best console on the market! Load times of 60 seconds are around 10 seconds now! Bring on the next God of War!! I did do an opening of this product on Tik Tok at Ishiku Senpai!!

The Sony PS5 is not just an awe-inspiring slab of shock and awe technology. There's also something delightfully old school about it. It's got buckets of next-gen performance on tap, but its proportions and design are truly something to behold. The PlayStation 5 radiates a sense of special that takes you back to more wonder-filled days when a console truly was a portal to another world of entertainment and escapism.

This is a really impressive machine and all the new bells and whistles from the custom SSD, tempest audio, and all the new controller updates really help see the fact that this is a next gen console. The only thing I’m not enjoying so far is the user interface and there are still kinks with the firmware that are causing issues for users. Hopefully the updates keep rolling in to improve the user experience!
