This is the first time that I have pre-ordered my PS. I skipped the PS4 pro and have had the ps4 for about 6 years. Going from the PS4 to 5, the load time is ridiculous and downloading speed is really fast!!! The heptic feedback is something else. It immerses you in the game. To me, the controller makes this next gen! I can not wait until I get a next gen TV with 2.1 HDMI to get the max out of my PS5. I have no regrets!!

A+ no issues, great console, great games, great graphics.

I finally got lucky enough to find and purchase the elusive PS5. Aside from it being the size of a studio apartment, I’m having a lot of fun playing PlayStation exclusives e.g. Spider-Man (Miles Morales), Demon Souls, and Godfall. If you can find one, I’d recommend buying it.

IMHO - best gaming system in the world (so far), I prefer discless version since it's more symmetric design, speed is fantastic, games are awesome and beautiful. It was obviously hard to get - but I was lucky at some point to score it from Best Buy. Installed SSD memory to the system and how I have plenty of space to store games.

Graphics are great! Love all the game options! You can't go wrong with this purchase!

Extraordinarily happy with Best Buy's release process. Was able to quickly and easily make it through queue (back in January) without having to spam "Add to Cart" or "Checkout" overly aggressively. Kudos to a user-friendly process. System itself has been exceptional, especially when compared with the 500-GB launch PS4 I had been using. PS4 games (e.g. Ghosts of Tsushima, which has has been patched/optimized for next-gen) were massively improved. My experience with "true" PS5 games has been limited, but 2k21 and a few others have shown potential. Also, don't sleep on the preinstalled Astrobot. Final thoughts: the system itself has been relatively quiet, the cooling fans have kicked on a few times, but are not very noticable. The white aesthetic isn't particularly appealing, but you'll get used to it after seeing this MASSIVE object in your entertainment center enough times. The "copying" of games/updates is slightly improved from PS4, but is still frustratingly slow. The internal SSD is way too small, for now it's best to have at least a 2+TB (I'd recommend 4+TB) external HDD to store games, then transfer those you're looking to play to internal PS5 SSD (PS5 games can now be stored on external HDD, but can only be played on internal SSD). Controller is a huge improvement over Dualshock 4 (still a shame there's an idiotic "Share" button). User interface could use some tweaking ("Game Hub" isn't organized very well), but response of menus is vastly superior to PS4.

Overall the PS5 runs great. The games run smoothly and at steady frame rate. The load times is much quicker than last gen. Also, the controller is vastly improved from the previous model. I haven’t had any issues with my PlayStation. However, it does have some flaws. The main one being not being able to support VRR. Sony said that the PS5 will support VRR. It’s been over a year and that feature has not been added. The other flaw is that it has about 600 GB of storage after the OS is installed. I bought an SSD to expand its storage, but I know not everyone is willing to spend more money to expand the storage as it would probably cost $120 for a 500 GB internal SSD. In all I’m giving 4 stars. it’s an amazing console, but the lack of VRR and small storage capacity is holding it back. Hopefully, VRR comes soon in a software update.

I love my ps5. The haptic feed back on the controller is insane for the game it comes with “Astros playroom”. The ps4 claimed it was 60 fps but the Ps5 feels like it’s actually 60fps instead of 30. It’s buttery smooth and the graphics are great. I never mess with the HDR tho cuz it always makes my screen look bad so I turn that off. User interface is dope and the console itself is silent besides when it’s reading disks

Got this PS5 Digi for my brother in law and he can’t stop talking about how much he loves it. The only thing he said is that this thing is tall and takes up a lot of space vertically but other than that, he’s super happy with it. He says Ghost of Tsushima looks amazing. I recommend pairing with a TV with HDMI 2.1 so you can hit 120hz refresh rate, you’ll never want to go back to 60hz ever again!

There was plenty of hype surrounding the release and it hasn't disappointed. While it takes up a serious amount of room (pictures don't usually do it justice, it's huge), it runs at a whisper compared to my old PS4. Gameplay is smooth and the controller is familiar, yet feels like an improvement over the last. Just be sure that your viewing device is capable of displaying what this machine is capable of.

Got this for Christmas for my 18-year-old it was truly a surprise for him the graphic is amazing it was worth the hassle on the internet trying to cop this. Not to mention the controller is out of this world. Best Buy has always been my number one store to purchase my electronics from and will always be my number one store to purchase electronic. 10 stars for best buy always coming through for my electronic needs.
