Such an amazing console, everything about it is great, the only thing is that it is big but besides that it’s amazing, the loading time is super speed. The graphics are insanely amazing and it looks nice. The controller is by far the best controller of all time, the trigger feedback and the vibrations makes you imagine like you are actually inside the game. BEST CONSOLE IF ALL TIME

Got this launch day. Initial set up was a bit slow as I imported data from my PS4 but has been smooth. I found that I had almost filled up the internal ssd so I bought an external ssd and enclosure for PS4 content. I was very impressed with Astros playroom. Free, but challenging. Really puts the controller and its features on display. I've been enjoying Miles Morales in fidelity mode.

Honest Review from a PS5 and Xbox Series X Owner !

Let me first start off by saying that I’m not a fanboy. I have the PS5 and the Xbox Series X. I’ve had both systems since their respective day one launches. I love both systems but there are pros and cons on both sides. The PS5 is an awesome system when everything is running as it was intended too. I will explain in a bit. First, I’ll talk about the positives. The user interface in my opinion is hands down one of the best I have ever interacted with. It is gorgeous just too look at if you have a 4K tv or monitor. I am fortunate enough that I have both systems hooked up to the 2020 LG CX 55” OLED. The UI is snappy and very responsive. The only thing is I wish it had folders or just a nicer way to organize everything but that is really just me being a little picky. Next, the Dual Sense controller feels amazing in my hands. It is very comfortable. I like the concept of the adaptive triggers but I have to be brutally honest, I turned off the adaptive triggers when playing games like Call of Duty: Cold War because there was too much of a delay whenever I would try to fire my weapon. Now when playing the included game Astro’s Playroom, the adaptive triggers worked spot on and added a nice touch to the whole experience. Now let’s talk about a few things that some people don’t like to hear about. You have to first understand that this is a launch system and all launch systems always have bugs or little quirks that need to be worked out. So far I have had several occasions while playing Demon’s Souls, Call of Duty: Cold War, Spider-Man: Miles Morales or Godfall where the game would just freeze, stop responding, produce an error code and kick me all the way back to the home screen. The code is automatically sent to Sony by the system so I’m sure they are aware of these issues and are tracking them accordingly. Another issue is that there is simply not enough space on the internal SSD. You start off with roughly 667gb of usable space. I have six PS5 games installed on my internal SSD: Demon’s Souls, Call of Duty: Cold War, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Godfall, Devil May Cry: Special Edition and Astro’s Playroom. I’m already down to a little over 200gb of usable storage. At this rate I would run out if I continue to install PS5 games and Sony has not release a list of compatible internal SSD’s that can be purchased to expand the internal storage. Let me say that by no means should these issues be a deal breaker for you when considering a purchase of the PS5. Given time I firmly believe that Sony will iron out these kinks through future firmware patches and expandable storage. Rest assured you are going to absolutely love the PS5 and feel good about your purchase! I hope this honest review helps you in making your decision.

This console is everything I could want! Several PS4 games are improved on the console. Playing Ghost of Tsushima at 4K 60 frames makes it feel like a next generation game. PS5 games load fast. The controller is absolutely amazing. If you are lucky enough to grab a console, make sure you play Astro’s Playroom. It’s a great showcase for the controller and is full of PlayStation nostalgia.

Great controllers. Quiet system. I wish the external HD could house ps5 games...it won't. So I am happy I got the console version because digital will fill fast! That 1TB is actually about 560GB after the OS data. That's the only con so far. Super fast load times and the remote play is quite fast and responsive! Hope you folks can grab one and the scalpers lose money! Good luck!

Runs smoothly @ 4K60fps on all of my AAA titles, downloads are faster than ever over WiFi 6, as are streaming services, i.e. PS Now, music and video. Paired with the DualSense Controller and the Pulse 3D headset, I've had an excitingly immersive experience so far. The unit itself is also incredibly sturdy, I've move it back and forth several times in a basic backpack with no issues.

I was lucky enough to have just purchased this system and I love it. System run fast and love the new style controller. Very easy to set up and has great picture of you have a newer tv or gaming monitor. Only downside is there aren’t many new games out for the new generation. But if you have games from last generation you can play those along with some already released games.

Boots quickly, fan is near silent, the dual sense controller is amazing. It’s also great that it has so far played every PS4 game I’ve tried perfectly. Only real “issue” I’ve had is that the disc drive is kind of loud and spins up every 20-30 minutes whether you’re using it or not (if there is a disc in the drive). Demons Souls and Miles Morales are amazing and everyone should play.

It took a while to finally be able to purchase this item but once I was finally able to I was definitely happy with the purchase. While I haven’t noticed much of a difference in the games themselves, everything feels much more immersive through the new controller. The machine is smoother and much quieter, but definitely still puts off a good amount of heat.

This system is incredible. Graphics are smooth and controller is excellent. Unfortunately there are very few games out for it that justify owning it. Hard drive space out of the box is very limited even with the disc version. Paying an extra $200 to get an SSD is not something I’m excited about. Wait it out until more games are available/price drop.

Wow oh wow! The system is flawless. Sure on day one there was hiccups but it's been great ever since. The graphics capability and the loading times are amazing. It's so nice to turn it on and its ready to go. It looks great on a standard hd tv, but you really have to check it out on a 4k tv. Mind-blowing. Glad it has a disc because I can find good deals on games outside the sony store.

PS5 is an amazing console. The graphics are fantastic and on par for this new generation on gaming. If you liked the PS4 interface, then you'll be right at home. The controller feels great and has realistic haptic feedback and feel. The best part is the game library; there are several exclusives that you won't find with any other platform.

Not much needs to be said about this beast! Easy to connect, comes with one controller and charging cable for the controller, and HDMI cable. Graphics are amazing and the controller is more immersive with sound from the controller and a mic built in. Amazing technology! Now if online retailers and combat the bots buying these up to resell at crazy prices, that would be great!

The playstation 5 is really ahead of its time in many ways. From its cutting edge graphics, to its truly innovative controller (Yes it really is as cool as they say it is), the console continues to give me experiences with gaming I could only dream of! That being said, as an early adopter, there is just not enough content that takes advantage of the machine yet. On top of that to be able to truly appreciate the kind of content this machine can pump out, you need to also be an early adopter of high end televisions or gaming monitors. I guess what I am trying to convey is that yeah this console is amazing, but unless you have money to burn and are willing to stick to a somewhat limited game library; just wait until the inventory gets better, the game library is larger, and the televisions to use with the console get cheaper as well.
