Great console to have. Problem is hard drive space to play ps5 and ps4 games. Overall the games is fast graphics look better than ps4. Just waiting for ssd drive to down in price to move my ps4 games to ps5 console. For now buy a portable or desktop hard drive for ps4 games and move it to ur ps5

Everything about the PS5 has been upgraded. The loading speed is crazy fast on PS5 games and some PS4 load a lot quicker than the previous console. The controller feels amazing. It’s a great upgrade. I was very lucky to get my hands on one on launch. I look forward to seeing what this console can really do.

A great home console, this new gen of consoles really delivers a punch for the consumer. Graphics, load speeds, versatile, just an overall great performance.

The long awaited PS5 is here, and it was worth it. Of course there are always software bugs at launch, but it hasn’t changed the playability. Everything is so fast, and the graphics are better than expected. It is amazing how much of a difference there is between the PS5 and PS4Pro. Definitely worth the wait

Totally worth the effort of getting one at retail. I don't need to explain the amazingness of a PS5 to most people; it's a freaking PS5. If you're looking to buy one then, the yes: buy one. Don't sit on the fence. Also, Sony offers some amazing sweeteners for PSPlus members once you set up the console. Just be prepared to fill up that scant 600 GB HD in a couple hours if you already have an extensive gaming library. Hopefully, they unlock the second internal SSD slot soon (it's supposed to be due sometime this year). That said, Best Buy was able to make purchase and pick up entirely lovely. Once I made it through the queue and entered the code texted to me, it was a breeze. I also swear by Best Buy's support plans; they have provided wonderful service in the past. Yes, it was months on Reddit, Twitter, and HotStock to finally get my hands on a PS5, but I have no regrets. If you're still looking, good luck. You will get there and and the win is sweet.

I cant believe that I was lucky enough to get a PS5. It has definitely been as advertised. The loading speeds are ridiculously fast. So fast that I lose track of how long I have been playing. The controller is for sure what makes the console next gen. I hope that developers utilize this to its fullest.

Loving the PS5! It’s way bigger than the PS4, which surprised me. The controllers are an upgrade over the previous consoles. Games load way faster, but the initial game downloads are about the same time. Can tell a bit of difference with the HDR, but the graphics weren’t an overwhelming difference.

Next gen is here. Pros- Runs pretty quiet. Great visuals. Sound (especially with headsets) and haptic feedback really is as good as they say. Solid library, with more to come. Cons- It friggin huge, plan accordingly. The kickass haptic feedback on the controller murders the battery.

What is there to say that hasnt been said about this? Its fast, graphics are next gen, and the exclusives are well worth the price of entry. Plus all your favorite ps4 games look even better and loading times are practically non existent. If you can find one at retail, take the jump.

First, let me go over the ordering experience at Best Buy. It was brutal trying to place a pre-order on Sep 17, but eventually got in. I had anticipated receiving my PS5 on November 12th, so was surprised to find out that I wasn't actually going to receive it till November 17th. My brother ordered his from Walmart and had it delivered on the 12th. He managed to platinum astro bot while I was still waiting for my PS5! Shipping box was ripped, but the PS5 box itself was in good condition. When I powered on the device, I was able to setup/update/transfer my existing PS4 saves/games with ease. At first, I didn't know how to power off/restart/put the system into sleep mode. UI is a bit different coming from the PS4. I experienced one hard crash when I attempted to go into the game capture recording from one the videos I made. I had to physically power off/on the device to get it working again. Platinum Astro Bot and loved the experience. I expected more of a quick demo, but this felt more like a full game similar to Mario/Astro Bot VR.

Getting this was an odyssey for sure. I missed it at other retailers because of scalpers and bots but I was lucky enough to get it on launch day from Best Buy.. This thing is awesome. It’s a bit bulky, yes, but I don’t mind. I really like how fast it is and all the attention to detail. So far no complaints!

So lucky to get this product at launch and with local store pick up too! What can I say about the PS5 that hasn't already been said? Great machine and I love the controller. The size could be smaller, as I had a hard time finding a place to store it, but other than that, it's a great next-gen console!

Gifted to my little brother. He loves it but my only complaint is there isn’t enough space for how large some games are like COD. But I guess this issue is also faced on disc versions since all games pretty much are saved to the system anyway. Either way, awesome graphics and gameplay

Great value for the money. Super fast and smooth performance. Very quiet compared to PS4. 4K gameplay really pops on the screen. A bit on the larger side but can be positioned vertically or horizontally which is a plus. Can play all PS4 games, so is a great value upgrade.

As a huge PlayStation person I’ve put countless hours into my ps4. I didn’t think the ps5 could top it but it has made everything better. From the menus to the controller, everything is quicker and more enjoyable. The current exclusives are great. Plus it plays ps4 games too and makes them run faster.

Great upgrade from first day PS4. Good frames, quiet operation and about twice as fast loading/updating time. Only downside right now is that there isn’t any PS5 games to play, so have been playing exclusively PS4 games. No rush to upgrade unless you want 30 more frames in your PS4 games.

Such a fun system. Graphics are unbelievable, game download times are lightning fast, and load times are fast as well. Well worth the money when they become available. No issues with overheating either. I know some people have mentioned that as a potential issue. Haven't had that issue at all.
