Great value. The PS5 is just better. You'll have a more immersive gaming experience, with ray tracing, haptic feedback on the DualSense controller, a lightning-fast SSD, and so much more. If you have the ability to go for the PS5, that would be my recommendation.

Love it! A huge upgrade over an original PS4. Not as a big of a graphical upgrade versus the PS4 pro but it is amazing to play GOW at 60fps. Getting ready to go through Ghosts of Tsushima on New Game plus! The DualSense controller is awesome! Best controller I’ve had.

The most impressed. I've been with a gaming console in years. The controller is top notch, really unique technology. Very happy with the performance and the unique game titles to the PS5. Glad to be back in the PlayStation family.

I've owned every Sony console since the original PS1 and Sony has really impressed with the PS5. Load times are practically non-existent. Games look amazing in 4k 60FPS. It's not really a groundbreaking upgrade from PS4 pro, but it sure has a lot of potential moving forward.

This is an excellent console worth the hassle to buy online and pick up at my local store. Unfortunately the internal storage is only slightly over 600gb after the OS takes up a 4th of the 825gb. Waiting on hopefully soon a firmware update for an m.2 ssd upgrade .

I give it a 4 star just because it’s a huge upgrade. Waiting years for PlayStation to release a new console has been worth the wait. From the controller to the headset. Built in mic on the controllers definitely huge. Now the downside you do need to upgrade your tv to usb 2.1 for anyone that doesn’t own one. Just to be able to use the 120 FPS for certain games. The other down side since I got the digital edition was that it’s a new console and I kind of knew going into it that it would have its issues. At times the games like cod crash when your in the game. Perfectly understandable. Doesn’t happen a lot but it happens.

Once you experience those extremely fast loading times you are unable to look back. The dualsense and the functionality of the PS5 are a wonderful experience that feels like a true generational leap unlike before. Even without a 120hz display, you will see the difference.

I was fortunate enough to grab a PS5 one morning while they were in stock (5AM). Sony did not disappoint with this next generation; the dual sense controller is awesome along with the updated OS and speed of the system. If you can find one in stock I highly recommend.

Great Hardware, Incredible Game Library, Rough OS

PS5 is a solid peice of hardware, that will give you the best gaming performance on console. The library of games from Sony deliver unmatched quality, and expereinces that go beyond what what is possible in any other medium. Demon's Souls and Astro's Playroom do an excellent job of highlighting some of the new advancements PS5 brings to the table with the DualSense constroller and 3D Audio. PS4 backwards compatibility gives you access to landmark titles such as The Last of Us Part I & Part II, God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, which have set the bar for what is possible with a gamepad and a flat screen. With support for Virtual Reality, PlayStation 5 is the only current gen console, that gives you access to new gaming expereinces in the evolving VR space. When it comes to games, PlayStation 5 offers more gaming expereinces, across the best library of games, with the best performance in the console space. With that said, there are some draw backs. The consoles OS is lacking in features and functionallity. While also suffering from stability. In a month of ownership, there have been (2) instances where the unit shut off while playing, and after rebooting, the save file for the game being played was corrupted. Continuing with save files, Sony has taken a step backward with save management on PS5 vs PS4. Where you could manage save data for each game from the games tile on PS4, the only way to access Save Data on PS5 is through the settings menu, which is slow, and requires scrolling through the entire library to get to the game you want to manage data for. There is also currently an issue with the PlayStation Video service. For one, Sony is not offering movies through the PlayStation Store on PS5. On top of that, the service has been unaccessible on PS5 since launch, with no fixes available through PlayStation support. In addition to these issues, the PS5 has lost access to multiple other Video applications. There is currently no access to MLB.TV, YouTube TV, Crackle, and many other services that were available on PS4. Sony has also not offered direct access to the Web Browser with PS5. The browser can be accessed in limited capacity via links in messages, but the functionality is very limited. This greatly reduces the convience of doing a quick Google or Bing search while gaming. *One thing to note however, is that the Web Browser can be pinned to the side of a game, allowing the streaming of YouTube for walk throughs or Live Events while playing. All in all, the PlayStation 5 has launched as a great games device. It has incredible potential for the future, but there are some glaring issues that need to be address in the OS, Apps, and Services department. If Sony can iron out the issues, PS5 will be a 5 Star worthy Product, but as it stands I can only give it a 4/5. For Heavy Gamers, I would recommend the Product as is. For those looking for a family device, I would stick with PS4 a little while longer until PS5 is ready and fully functional.

Great system - You can't go wrong with getting a digital. No discs to deal with and everything is seamless. Get this if you're able to! Only flaw of course, is that it's hard to purchase anywhere right now even though it released awhile back already!

I got this about a month after it was launched so I have been using it for a year now. I’ve had no problems with it. It’s fast and powerful compared to ps4 pro that I was using. The controller is also a big step up from last gen.

Excellent console. Quieter than PS4 Pro. Great exterior design as well as UI. Games work great and look amazing! Dual sense controller is a tremendous upgrade. Seems like a lot of thought and effort went into the PS5 and it paid off. Loving it!

Fast, quiet, and the feel of the new Dualsense controllers with haptic feedback is truly amazing. Top that off with the PS plus collection at launch and it’s simply the best gaming console to play on. Thanks Best Buy for the early preorder and smooth launch day release.

The ps5 is perfect. It lets me play both 4 and 5 games! The controller, with the pre-installed ps5 game lets you use it more than any other. You can play by tilting, REALLY pushing the trigger buttons and even blowing on it! Bonus points for how slick it looks

So far, no big problems. I had one crash during a game but there was an update and no problems so far. It seems faster to load games and set up was a breeze. It is a big console, but I don't mind that. The interface is so much different from what I'm used to with the PS4. It takes a while to navigate it since the PS store doesn't go to a different page. It's hard to describe. I miss the wallpapers like I used to have with the PS4. I really enjoyed those unless I'm missing something. The controller is so comfy for my smaller hand which is important for this female gamer. The controller fits better in my hand than the DualShock for PS4. This new one has sound that comes out of the controller itself which is so cool! I'm glad they kept the port for wired headphones since I can't afford the PS5 headset right now. All in all, I like this so far and glad I got it. I use it for all my streaming apps and gaming.

Bought this with an extra controller. Definitely get it! Super quiet when playing at 4k 120fps , quite impressed. No thermal issues either. Do prepare some room for this, it is larger than previous generations. The stand is a little awkward, but I can live with it.

It’s early in the console’s lifecycle, but I’m really impressed so far. The integrated SSD isn’t massive, but it makes loading games extremely fast. Expandable storage will help, but time will tell on when that support will open up and how affordable it will be. The 4K, HDR graphics are beautiful, and step up in horsepower is apparent in the visuals of the new Miles Morales game, for instance. The UI is pretty intuitive, and I imagine I’ll really like it as I get used to it. It’s a large device, but the extra space accommodates effective (and quiet) cooling, which seems to be a huge improvement over the PS4. So far, so good!

Love this console! This make loading a playing video games quick and easy. There the great perk of there free to play collection. I do not recommend using the psvr on the ps5. If you have a ps4 I recommend using that and saving your limited storage space for the ps5

Games play best on PlayStation. This console runs games at a native 4k and Sony claims they will unlock 8k down the road
