Great console, not the best controllers. Spent money to buy an additional 5 in 4 years but other than that it’s great. Lightning speed load times, while the games themselves are much smoother. Highly recommend if you’re a gamer or a parent considering a gift for your kids.

This is truly a leap forward from the last generation of PS4's. The solid state drive ensures that all of my games' loading times are minimal, and this is especially true for PS5 games. I have played Devil May Cry 5 with only a couple seconds of loading times, whereas on the PS4, it would take much longer. Also, the graphics are amazing. Playing PS5 games with 4K graphics is breathtaking, with the new ray tracing feature making the lighting look natural and spectacular. Also, the Wi-fi 6 network adapter, which the Xbox Series X actually doesn't have, has allowed me to download large updates in record time. However, you will want the fastest internet service to make the most of this. I have fiber internet. There are a few downsides, which I am sure that Sony will address later down the line. There is not enough memory on the SSD, with there technically being 828 GB, but with the system using some of that, you are left with only around 667 GB of free space. Hopefully, Sony creates an external SSD. Also, there aren't a ton of PS5 games yet to make the most of the graphics and short load times, but that will come in time. And I would love different colors of controllers. I am actually holding off on buying a second controller until that happens. Overall, the PlayStation 5 is worth all of the effort that I went to in order to get one. Until the chip shortage goes away, your best bet is to follow various Twitter accounts and turn on notifications to know exactly when a drop happens, and check out quickly online. I highly recommend this console!

Best service ever! I preordered my PlayStation 5 during covid pandemic in 2020. I had my console; since the beginning of its release and it’s still in good quality. Thanks Best Buy, for the support to get this without having to go out of my way to pick it up in Nevada. I got my order delivered to my address, on the day of its arrival the date it was due. I was pleased with the overall experience to get my purchase. I recommend buying products from Best Buy.

Buying this PlayStation five has reminded me how good some video games are.

The PS5 is absolutely wonderful. The options on it allow for some high quality images from games that support 4K. It also features DVD/Blu-ray video playback. Definitely the best version of this console, as well.

Awesome System! Took a long, long time trying at multiple places to get. Its larger than I expected. I've been playing my PS4 games with great load times, Days Gone is Great on it. (Waiting on FC6, or GTA6) I just hope that Best Buy, and all the other retailers give all the scalpers trying to return them after Christmas a hard time. Please don't buy and let the scalpers win, Yes, I know its hard to get one right now, keep up the faith and lets hope big retailers make it difficult for the scalpers.
