Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did not get my PS5 from BB as they did not have in stock, however, I was lucky enough to get one. My actual score is 2.5, but not an option. My score my change after updates, and getting some PS5 games (other than the built pack-in)Here are my pros and cons: Pros: 1. I was able to get one. 2. Looks beautiful on my 4K TV. 3. Controller better than PS4. 4. Easy enough to setup. 5. A pack-in game. Kudos to Sony on this one. Cons: 1. Initial "transfer" of PS4 games over the network took about 5 hours to initialize, and was going to take ~29 hours to copy the games. That was for 2 games only (God of War, and AC: Odyssey), and you cannot stop a transfer in the middle, and internet search shows forcing a stop can brick (not sure if correct though). Yes, I did validate the network speed. 2. Launching of PS4 games takes as long as it does on the PS4 hardware, and that is with the games on the internal PS5 storage. 3. Controllers better than PS4, but still bump my thumbs. Ergonomics still go to the Xbox controllers (Use on PC only). 4. LPCM audio is set in the PS5, but fades in and out. In other words. I will get 2 channel ~90% of the time, and PCM ~10% of the time. It just switches back and forth. Other devices work fine on the same port. Only difference is I use the PS5 cable. I may try and swap them out.

Horrible console
