4 is the nicest i can do , ive bought my ps4 at best buy and i guess I'll buy ps5 and ps6 from here too

It's definitely a next-gen console able to handle 4k with ease but we are far from being a superb console.

I am a *beep* elite + member and this is the 2nd time i got an open box ps5 in my cart and it gave me some nonsense about can't ship and change the shipping in the cart but there is nothing to change, I'm ticked off

Awesome system but hard to get. One of the toughest to get. Been waiting for demon souls to play.

PlayStation is the most Anti Customer friendly company on the planet.. They are the only company still charging people for the Cloud JUST TO SAVE GAME DATA.. Now they are forcing you to pay for the BOGAS SUBSCRIPTION JUST TO SAVE GAME PROGRESS.. They have lowered the internal memory and have made it to where you can no longer save game data on the console itself.. Again PLAYSTATION IS THE ONLY ONE THAT DOES THIS. They also have made expandable storage which will still be stupidly expensive on release not available.. to force people to pay for a subscription just to save game progress a basic gaming fundamental that every game platform gives outside of PS is bad taste in poor quality to people that play on PlayStation.. I DON'T KNOW WHY PEOPLE PUT UP WITH IT.. IT CAN'T BE FOR THE 1% OF GAMES.. which is what Sony exclusives makeup of all games..

I don't understand you best buy you owe me a serious explanation on why you are refusing to ship me a PS5 that I actually was able to add to my cart... im a real person and you just broke my heart by telling me I have no bestbuys near me. I have a dozen best buys within 100 miles of me. You broke my soul today and I hope that makes you happy. How are any of us supposed to get a next gen console? I'm serious? This feels immoral and border line illegal. I'm a real person and I just felt so lucky for a half minute and you ripped that away from me.

I ended up getting 2 on launch day, 1 digital and 1 disc. Got the disc for me and the digital for my son. The other day his console stopped reading the HDMI to the tv. No signal. I thought easy enough boot to safe mode and change the res. Not the case. The console wouldnt even go to safe mode. So we decided to return to the store. When working the console was great. He loves fortnite so thats what he used it for. Now we have to wait until they get some in probably after the New Year. Really no big deal as I know we will be able to get him one. Sucks because he got a lot of stuff tied to the PS5 for chirstmas. Overall 2 stars. Beware when buying as these are still really new and have issues.

Not sure where else to put this, but it will be nice to get an update on when the PS5 will be back in stock. I have been on the site every hour to see IF there's a chance that this becomes available, so I can purchase for my son.

Impossible to get one. Sony really needs to step up it's game and produce more. There needs to be an option to notify when available.

It's a good system but crashes when u are playing cant restart sometimes to many bugs with the first releases like everything better to wait a little while

Typical Sony maneuver--PS5 advertises 4k@120fps, but can it even output 4k at 120fps? I don't know b/c I can't afford to buy an all new 4k 144hz monitor or tv rated for that. Why? B/c I just bought a 34" 1440p 144hz ultrawide which is the only output that makes sense on a PS5; my 3080 and 6900XT can barely hit 60fps @ 4k consistently. The PS5 has what, a 5700xt +/-? I don't know what they used--some custom chipset. In any case, the PS5 for sure WILL NEVER hit 4k at 120fps. Period. It is a bit disingenuous to say "4k120fps" when it is really 4k OR 120fps. Sony locked down 1440p on the PS5 to force us to buy into 4k monitors and tvs--plain and simple. 4k tvs are worthless for anything but a few shows on netflix; most cable tv is still maxed out at 720p, lol. PS5's true potential is 1440p. My 3080 and 6900xt max out at close to 144hz @1440p. I figure the PS5 is somewhere close to 5700xt/6800 which would run pretty close to 120fps @ 1440p and could likely hit this figure w/ game optimization. It'd be great if Sony broke with the hallowed tradition of limiting options for console gamers and let us just enjoy the product how we want to. Get it together, bruh.

its nice but the fact you have to buy a new tv to get the new graphics and stuff sucks so expect to spend another few hundred dollars. also the battery life of the controller is less than the ps4 controller so expect to be charging it constantly even during play if you play longer than 2 or more hours. other than that its great

Worst purchasing experience ever. Not hating on the console, but Best Buy has the worst online buying experience for popular items. Be creative. Find a way to make sure that actual fans who will buy games get their hands on the time. Ask freaking trivia questions about games, or make us confirm our PSN login, and require a minimum trophy level for purchasers. This system they have right now is terrible.

Okay console but I get better performance from my PC, not a major difference from PS4 either.
