So far mostly good with the PS5. The load times and download speeds are amazing. The games look great and once they fixed the disk spinning issue the console itself is pretty quiet in a living room. That being said, the console is a bit chunky. Not always a bad thing because it allows the heatsink to absorb more heat and keep the internals cooler, but I wish they had made it a little smaller. On the performance side of things, the console does well 95% of the time. Every once in a while I get errors like the console not sending a signal to the TV but the white light is on. When I first booted the console it froze and I had to hard power off and unplug. That was day 1, however, and it has not happened since. There are some weird HDR issues, but those may be because of the Vizio TV I have, so I wouldn't worry about HDR support. Waiting for the NVMe PCIe 4.0 support has been a bit of a bust, but some of the new PS5 games are more efficiently compressed and take up much less space than PS4 games. Overall, the PS5 is a worthy successor to the PS4 albeit hard to find

The console is huge, yes, but it's the best next gen system out there. Glad I was able to pick one up from Best Buy

Best console on the market. The system speed and graphic performance in my opinion blows the Xbox in every category.

Huge upgrade from the PS4. Love the UI and the free astros playroom game. Nice that they are easy to get now.

I was able to get one by being awake at 2am. Besides the time of day, the process of purchasing a PS5 was simple. I added the item to my cart and there were two forms of verification that needed to be completed before finalizing the transaction. This process insured that once I added it, I only needed to find a location near me to pick up the item. I was able to receive the item on a specific date at a location of my choice. The console runs wonderfully and I’m enjoying it.

Works great. Lightning fast. Great graphics. Make sure you have a good TV/monitor to push this beast of a console.

DuelSense controller is a game changer. Super fast, have had no issues after 6 months of consistent use.

Awesome console by Sony. The controller is pretty amazing and the SSD is very fast. So far I am enjoying it a lot.

The ps5 is awesome, what makes it FEEL like a generational leap over the ps4 is not what you think. It's the controller! The way it can perceive different amounts of force is nuts. I literally can make any game including the ones you already have feel fun again. The stock of them is a joke though and I hate knowing that some kids will miss out on it at Christmas time. Nobody should have to put this much effort in to acquire a system that is being purchased by bots? Do better!

Great console with new great new features, Including backwards compatibility with ps4. As hard as they are to hunt down it was worth the trouble. Finally being able to load into an upgraded version of a game or a new release was really satisfying. I've been able to make comparisons between Dead by Daylight and Destiny 2 ps4 to ps5 versions, looking at load times and graphics there is a noticeable difference. Glad I was able to find one when I did.

My favorite part of the ps5 is the controller and the graphics on my 4k tv. Definitely worth the investment.
