Phenomenal piece of hardware from Sony. The DualSense is a huge upgrade from the Dualshock 4. The user interface is easy to navigate and makes gaming feel more pristine. My only wish is that Sony eventually adds a firmware update that adds Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, etc. Cheers to the next 7 years of gaming!

The PS5 feels like a huge improvement over the PS4 Pro which I previously had. I didn't find the 3d audio to be quite as immersive as I was led to believe but the vibration and adaptive triggers make the controller so much better. The graphics on games like ratchet and clank are awesome in 4k HDR.

Sony continues to deliver with the PS5. Having exclusive launch titles with the release of the console. A powerful fast console handling big downloads swiftly and significantly lowering load time to the point they’re hardly noticeable. Everything about the pa5 feels like an upgrade when compared to its predecessor.

PS5 is super fast and incredible graphics and features but I just don’t like how big and bulky it is and the storage capacity could’ve been a lot more in relation to its size, but overall still good.

This is the first time I bought a serious gaming system for myself. Games look truly stunning, esp. on our 55 inch in a small nyc apartment. I had been trying to procure one for a year, it was so satisfying when I finally purchased. Store pickup couldn’t have been easier.

Cool Product. Definitely hard to get this but just leave it in your cart for the next drop and press checkout when it’s back in stock. It was fast and easy. Took me a couple tries but I got it still. Super fast like they advertised. No problems with it yet. Hopefully my controller sticks don’t drift soon.

Graphics are amazing. Puts a a breath of fresh air into those PS4 games you still have to finish. The adaptive controls really add a layer of immersion previous controllers hadn't achieved. The gentleman who came curbside was polite and courteous. The PS5 box and controller was in good shape. I love curbside.

Honesty not a fan boy at all but I believe the PS5 is the winner so far in the new generation system release. The Dual Shock 5 controller is next level and the PlayStation just feels like a new system. I also have an Xbox series X and because of the lack of games and new features it just not grabbing my attention.

the jump from the base ps4 to the ps5 can't not be understated. being able to run ghost of tsushima in 4k/60FPS is gorgeous. the true selling point is the haptic feedback in the dualsense controller. however, sony doesn't have a lot of exclusive titles out for the system yet which is my only complaint right now.

At the time of purchase, there isn't much available for the newest console generation but I know that there will be soon. I love the console and the controller is a significant upgrade from an already comfortable and sturdy controller for the PS4. The new generation will be great and I like this unit!

Love this system! Ps5 games have no load screen. Loading screens for ps4 games cut down by a lot! Downloading is ridiculously fast. With my internet red dead 2 downloaded in just under 20 minutes. External drives cause some issues though and with 800 gb and ps5 games not being able to go on external drives

An excellent choice if your done with physical games and dvds! A sleeker design and all the functionality of the disk version without all the fuss in a world of downloads and streaming services this console is becoming the practical choice not to even mention the price difference makes this a no brainer.

Amazing all around media machine. Graphics and sound are top of the line. I use it primarily for music and 4K movies but occasionally play games and they look amazing and the load times are super fast. I know they are hard to get right now but if the opportunity comes your way don’t pass it up. You won’t regret it.

The best console ever made so far at this point of time. No need to debate between XSX and the PS5. The PS5 outperforms the XSX in almost every game! More exclusives and much better experiences of the same games thanks to the Dual Sense Controller. Expect it to be the best selling console of this generation easily.

Coming from someone that has never owned a PlayStation, this is a nice but really big console. It is powerful and the system loads fast. I did have an issue installing COD Cold War, a hard reset on the console, everything was fine. Kinda weird for having an immediate issue on a new $500 console. But all is good now.

So far, had many crashes. I have my console laying horizontal and when the fan comes in, the top plate/cover vibrates horribly. Every time I have to go check the console to make sure its "ok". If I lightly press on the cover/body plate the buzz quiets down but as soon as I let go it sounds like a plane getting to leave the runway. Digital and disc games both will crash. While playing Valhalla, I know when the console will crash by the way my frame rate drops to 0. Sometimes, I can get lucky and not touch anything on the controller and the game might make it through the "eposode". With that said, I got the first generation of the console, so I expect some issues. I have Cyberpunk, Miles Spiderman, Valhalla, and Borderlands 3. Borderlands is the only game so far that I've had no issues with. Again, I understand this is the first edition of the console but it should not have been released before it was ready....just like Cyberpunk. Hopefully, Sony will extend the warranty for the console like they did for ps4 first generation. As far as the controller "heptic" feed back.....its actually nice but because I never liked the vibration function of the prior consoles, I turn off the vibration choice in games. When you do go to "pull the trigger to shoot or grab, it is really making you "feel" the weapon or movement. Overall, im not mad at my purchase but as of right now there are a lot of "bugs" to get straightened out.

Always very satisfying to use. Looks great, and runs great. I have yet to run into any major issues. At the time of writing, the only minor problems are missing features that were on the PS4, such as the ability to create folders, or view update history, but these can easily be fixed through software updates.

Get the ps5 if you want Wow! Factor.

If you want the “WOW” factor when you purchase a new console, pick up the ps5. I did extensive research before deciding on a next gen console, and whereas the Xbox series x can deliver a few more impressive specs on paper, the ps5 is designed to impress. Examples come as soon as you turn it on, it comes pre-loaded with a game that shows off the *insane* new controller features such as full hand haptic feedback (it feels as if objects are falling and being tossed against the sides of the controller), a trigger that changes resistance based on what you’re doing (a bow feels like you are drawing a bow). It also displays the tempest 3D audio, which can be calibrated to your tv speakers. All of the menus feel incredibly intuitive, and Sony has already promised a lot more firmware updates to improve on what I feel is is an already stellar UI. As someone who started on Xbox consoles, I couldn’t be happier about my purchase. And Best Buy was the only place I could snag it!!

Graphics are great, though not much games to play. Hopefully get more PS5 games. Playing mainly PS4 games with graphic and performance upgrade only. May not recommend until there is more games available.
