I'm super surprised I got one. I just happen to see it while looking for and AMD CPU. It replaces my old PS4 and a 4k player. So it fits nicely into my cabinet and was able to easily move my stuff from the PS4 to this new console and I got Demon Souls which looks awesome and plays great.

This is a great system. I wish the hard drive was bigger and not just 825gb. Where does Sony get a weird drive size like that anyway. Barely over 650gb available for game downloads. Will be happy when firmware updates allow us to use the other internal SSD slot. The images are incredible.

I have always been a Nintendo fan and still am, but the PS5 has changed me to now being a two console guy. The PS5's graphics are incredible even when playing PS4 games. I know they are really hard to get right now, but if you can get one you will not be disappointed in your purchase.

Was Lucky To Have Been Able To Purchase The System During Launch Date After Impossible Tries With Other Retailers. I’ve Put Hours Into The Console. This Is The Next Gen People Have Been Waiting For. Simply Amazing, My Only Complain Would Be That The Fans Do Get Loud At Points But Overall Satisfied.

This review is about 2 things: The system itself and the buying process. Firstly, thank you Best Buy for continuing to keep us informed on when systems are available. I appreciate the changes you have implemented to stop bots from spamming the site and overbuying the systems for the resale market. One suggestion: Allow only one system per address/credit card and that should put the final nail in the coffin for the bot buys. Now about the system, my son was in literal tears Christmas Morning when he unwrapped it. He stood with me in lines at 4 am at various Walmarts/Best Buys/Targets to try to get one. The system is beautiful, although bulky. We opted to have it on it's side instead of standing up as it fits perfectly in our Entertainment Center. The system is fast, smooth, and with an easy to use UI. The games are just Stunning. We all have high end Gaming PCs so we play most of our games there. But we are happy we got the PS5 for the exclusives. Spiderman is gorgeous on 4k with Performance + Ray Tracing.

The PlayStation 5 is the next generation and I can definitely tell it sure is! The loading times are so short, the new haptic feedbacks and adaptive triggers give new immersion to games, the PS4 backwards compatibility let's me continue working on games I've haven't finished.

Excelent upgrade, the selection of first party exclusive titles is great and they are giving away some nice games if you are a ps plus subscriber so its very easy to start with a nice library. Controller is unlike any other controller. And the power in the hardware is sure to last many years

Without the help of PS5 Drop Twitter accounts, I doubt I would have been able to get a PS5 in my possession. Its 3D sound and haptic controller are so cool, and I look forward to seeing how more PS5 games implement them in the future. But WOW, what an obnoxious process to get ahold of one.

This much desired console is well worth the wait played demon souls and miles morales on launch it ran smoothly However ssd storage being at 825 (675gb of usable storage) Leaves the ps5 feeling half baked at launch Hopefully with updates this system will be even better than what it is

The gameplay is a very different experience that cannot be explained with words. But I can tell you that my boyfriend loves the graphics. I also enjoy the ease of ordering with Best Buy and the in-store or curbside pickup options. If you’re trying to get a PS5 Best Buy is your best bet.

Perfect gift for kids they love everything about it

My son was beside himself to receive this gift. He truly loves it and it been a great way for him to connect and talk with friends through the pandemic. Unfortunate that it took months to find and purchase one. He's pleased with the graphics and is now lobbing for an upgraded TV.

Great console. I hope that developers will be as innovative with the controller as the Astro's Playroom Demo was because that was incredible. It's tough to keep the robots from getting them but I'm glad to see Best Buy doing their best to make sure the consoles go to real people and not scalpers

Got this for my boyfriend, out of pure luck! Ps5 have been very hard to get for the normal price. he loves it so much. didn’t think i would be able to get one until next year due to all the bots & them selling twice as much as they go for. so thank you so much best buy

I only had the ps5 for about a month and I gotta say I’ve been having the one best experience in my life. I haven’t had this much fun with a console since the ps2 days tbh it has a small library of games but it’s roster has so many great games like Miles Morales, Demon souls, and Returnal, The power & speed of the console makes everything feel smooth and fluid, not to forget the new duelshock controller that’s surprisingly is a-lot more comfortable using than the ps4 controller.The new UI is also sick and easy to get around I just wish Sony would allow us to customize the theme like with the ps4 I loved that feature. Overall this is a great console I highly recommend it, tho I would also recommend you to wait a little longer for more games to be added to it’s library and for prices to go down. But if you really want a console right now this is the you should get. BTW DON’T GIVE IN TO SCALPERS & Don’t stop trying. Trust me guys it works.

The PlayStation 5 is a worthy follow-up to the PlayStation 4. However, as with all launches, there are some wrinkles to iron out. The SSD is amazingly fast, but apparently vulnerable to hardware issues, especially when using the system's rest mode. The DualSense controller is wonderful, but whether it is utilized to its full potential depends upon game developers. The new menu is both good and bad, attempting to rewrite things it didn't need to and dropping features from the PS4 as if they didn't matter. If you want a PS5, you already know if you'll enjoy it. Anyone on the fence should wait until the issues are ironed out, by which time it will be easy enough to obtain.

Worth it, regardless of how little PS5 games are currently available; exclusive or otherwise. The system plays my PS4 games better than my PS4 (obviosuly), and that in itself has been a huge improvement. Returnal, Demon Souls, even the PS5 version of Fortnite... all look gorgeous.

This is a major step up from the ps4. It is very quick and its awesome that you can switch from games to streaming service within seconds. Loading a game takes about 10 seconds because it just stays in the background. The video quality is amazing of you have a next gen TV with 2.1 HDMI input.

Their new system for obtaining a system is so much better than many others are even still. We were suppose to pick up on the 27th, but BestBuy got them in early and notified us right away so we got it on Christmas Eve. The system itself is amazing. We have had no issues and love the graphics.
