Get this to play PS4 and PS5 exclusive titles otherwise the Xbox Series X is a much better choice. The PS5 is designed poorly. It is way too big and it's odd shape and plastic fins make it noisy because they rattle when the disc drive is running. There is no VRR yet, most games will only run at 60FPS and the GUI and store are somewhat confusing and there are no reviews of the games. Sony also makes you rebuy any PS3 games that you have in your library and pay to upgrade a lot of the games you have already bought for PS4 for the PS5 version. Xbox game pass offers much more games than Playstation Plus and Playstation Now combined.

It's a PS5. Have nothing bad to say about the product itself. I do, however, have plenty to say about how terrible it is to actually try to shop for one of these. It's been almost 2 years, there's got to be a way to put these in the hands of actual gamers and filter out all the bots and scalpers. It feels like the big box stores don't give a crap about that as long as they get paid, though. So... 5 stars for the ps5, 1 star for Best Buy.
