Amazing Performance for Old and New

You get all of the same games + the next gen titles, and everything just plays smoother and at higher resolutions/quality. Highly recommend getting the disc model so you can play all the older titles. Also the PS+ collection is a great way to dip your toes into the best games they have to offer.
