Its Awesome!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this thing and so glad I was able to snag one. Great UI. All the PS4 games I've tried work without issue. Very quiet! Downloads are noticeablely fast. The controller is awesome with the new adaptive triggers. Occasional noise from the fan but goes away after about 10 secs so not a big issue. There have been widespread issues with using external hard drives so I'd stay away from those until Sony fixes it! It's definitely big but not as big as the media makes seem.

I finally scored one!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's been a long time coming, but I finally got one! I'm so glad that I bought Totaltech months before they gave members exclusive PS5 drops. Otherwise I wouldn't have been able to secure one. I guess TT is one way to beat the bots. Loving the fast load times and 4k HDR graphics. The only downside is the 667.2GB of available storage. You'll need to invest in a secondary NVME drive if you want download more PS5 games.

It has it's issues, but overall a great console.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 2nd PS5. I feel like at this point if you're buying this you kind of know what you're getting. Next-Gen console that's STARTING to get next-gen games. I got my first PS5 at launch and at that point, there weren't too many real next-gen experiences. If you're getting it now, it's starting to look nice. The controller gives games a different feel when you first use it, but over time the novelty kind of wears off. I have an Xbox Series X with an Elite controller and I don't notice a huge difference between consoles and controllers like I did originally. I docked the console a star because of the current games and because of the Hard Drive space. I'm in the software beta so I can install another M2 SSD but the update hasn't officially dropped for everyone, and, to get a M2 SSD that's compatible...it's gonna cost. Next-Gen games take up space, you add a Call of Duty and a NBA 2k....you're low on space already. Still, with all that said, the PS5 is a great console with a bright future in front of it.

This thing rocks
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The PS5 is truly the next step in next-generation console gaming. I have one of the most powerful PC’s one can build, and I am constantly impressed by the SSD tech in the PS5 alone. I could write a novel on the controller alone and it’s new haptic triggers, but I will say this. Believe the hype, the thing is absolutely awesome and game changing. I can’t wait to see more games come out for this console that fully utilizes all of it’s capabilities.

Futuristic
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a F2P player and Fan of Sony Playstation. THE system works very well..I'm still adjusting to the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers but by far the best controller upgrade out there for the ps5

Powerhouse console
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a PS5, how can you not like it!? I have the Xbox and the Playstation, both have their benefits but what I enjoy about the PS5 is that there are more proprietary games for the Playstation. So if I was choosing between a console that has very few proprietary games, or the one that does.. it's a no brainer. Also, having the touch interface on the controller is great! It is also nice to have the option of adding the PS VR2 if I want.

Already a Necessary Upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While a lot of the marketing focused on shorter load times, an innovative controller, and the dark magic known as raytracing, the beauty of next gen so far is the simple stuff: backward compatibility at high, stable framerates. Welcome to the PS4 Pro... Pro. Dropped frames were my biggest problem with console gaming for the last couple of years. The power of the PS5 is a nuclear bandaid on struggling PS4 games like Genshin Impact and, oh right, Cyberpunk 2077.

Hands down best next gen console!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The PS5 is an amazing all well rounded next gen gaming console. The SSD loads everything faster and the new Dual Sense controller with haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, and built in mic/speaker has to be my favorite. Playing games with the Dual Sense controller makes the experience even more immersive packed full of features. Furthermore PlayStation has a wider selection of exclusive games compared to Xbox (with Halo). Both are amazing powerful consoles.

Sony did well, but….
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The next Gen console race. I’ll say, the graphics are top notch and you can clearly tell a difference between PS4. But they aren’t miles ahead better, more like incremental upgrades. Kinda bummed out that the system comes with 1TB, but because of the system files, it only leaves you with like 825gb’s to use on games. Which, being a next Gen console, it should have come with 2TB especially since these games are astronomically big. The controller has very good haptic/pressure sensitive features. I like the color scheme mix that Sony did, just wondering long term that the white will look very dirty. The console is quite big, so expect to give it space in your room for placing it. I have a feeling Sony will make a smaller very soon or a different color. I’m bummed out that Sony didn’t have many A+ titles a single upon launch, but their coming in 2022. Overall, I like the system, but I feel like I could have waited another year just until the gaming catalog grew more.

PS5
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After a generation of figuratively towering above its rivals with the monstrously successful PlayStation 4, one thing is certain: Sony’s next-generation contender will also loom large over its peers... literally. This thing is massive. However, what the PlayStation 5 lacks in subtlety it more than makes up for in potential, thanks in part to its amazingly fast SSD but mostly to its truly remarkable new controller, the DualSense.

Plays PS 4 collection flawlessly.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don’t have a 4k tv but graphics are still amazing. Extremely satisfied with the support for PlayStation 4 games. I don’t have to get rid of my collection and in some cases games seem to load quicker and look great. If upgrading from a PS4 Pro you may not see improvements in your PS4 games visually but defiantly if upgrading from a standard PS4. Included Astro game is a must, it’s a fun game that teaches you how the new Dual Sense controller works!

One the best things to happen in 2020
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love how unique the design of the PS5 is, it's definitely a statement piece. Games load fast and the graphics look outstanding. I don't yet see a huge enough difference in graphics compared the PS4 Pro, but I know it will get better as more games come out and utilize the full power of the PS5. Oh, and the controller is amazing! I'm still in awe how the pulled that off. Backwards compatibility with PS4 games is a huge plus, definitely worth the upgrade.

Definitely worth it if you can find one
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very fortunate to get one during an online scramblefest of click monkey nonsense. I’ll go through what I like: Controller is fantastic, I’m very glad they designed something a bit more meaty in the hands like an Xbox controller. Feels much better than a DualShock 4. Whomever complains about it being cumbersome or tiring is really exaggerating. It’s a 1 pound controller guys and gals. UI is very simplistic in comparison to the PS4 UI. I just feel like it’s very well thought out in terms of convenience. Easy to get where you’re going. Again it’s simple, but efficient. I spent a good hour or more maybe just walking through and observing/trying a lot of features. The broadcasting one is one of the best in terms of efficiency. Easily accessible and just about fool proof to setup. System overall is pretty quiet. The only thing I hear really is the occasional disk spin up. The only way you’re going to hear that to a point where it’s loud is if it’s 2 feet in front of you on a desk or something. I think the people who complain about HOW LOUD THE DISK DRIVE OH EM GEE are grasping at straws trying to find something wrong. It’s not bad and if you’re wearing a head set for instance then who cares. Games load fast... I mean do I need to say more? Quick resume is pretty nice this generation. The only con I would say is that the thing is gigantic for what it is. And at this point in ownership that’s literally looking and making something wrong. I don’t want to look like a fan boy. Anyway, really great job on this generation and we’re in the infancy. The hardware is very impressive. It won’t replace your gaming rig unless it’s a pretty lackluster setup, but dang do I love this thing.

Such a cool console
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's much bigger than the pro, which limited where I could put it, but it looks so cool. It's also very quiet, except for when certain game discs are in, but even then it's only loud for 30 seconds. The only issue I have with the interface is that we can't use our PS4 themes, but I'm sure we'll have some customization options. I LOVE the haptic feedback from the controller and I'm excited for future games. Very easy to set up and transfer data, I love it.

What an incredible system
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very impressed with the quality of this console. It is very powerful and runs games beautifully. I can't wait to continue play with it for many years to come. I was surprised by the size of it and have to lay it down horizontally but it is still very nice to look at and play. You can really tell that they out a lot of thought into making this console and its accessories. Overall I am very satisfied and hope that everyone will be able to get one soon.
