As of writing this review, if you have a PS4 I would recommend waiting until more PS5 exclusives come out. Replaying PS4 games in a new light with 60fps and 4k is really good, but unless you haven't had a PlayStation before, there isn't all that much to do. Once games like God of War: Ragnarok, Forspoken, Spider-Man 2, and Wolverine come out is when I would recommend taking another look at the PS5. Until then I can only say that unless you come from PC or Xbox, the PS5 is only "sort of" great.

I Spent a month trying to get this and then 9 more hours after best buy said it would be available at a certain time but it wasn't. Obtaining this was a full time job so by default it's 5/5 because it needs to be worth all the lost sleep and time.

What else is there to say? Its a PS5, worth the money, looks amazin with native 4k, 120fps, ray tracing, the whole shabang! Did in store pick up and that was a breeze to go through. If you're a console gamer you will not be disappointed.

A pretty good system and upgrade from the PS4. However, at the moment the system needs a few updates before its up to par with the Xbox series X.

This is the best console out right now, from the controller to the quality of games. The system is silent, unlike the PS4. The only thing that I would recommend is to have a backup controller because these controllers are not build to last.

Purchased as a gift for my husband after weeks of trying to track one down. My husband and kids absolutely love the PS5! We have has Playstation since it first came out and have not been disappointed! Just keeps getting better and better!!

I would prefer this if I had already owned an XBOX Series X if you want to cover both platforms. The first party/exclusive titles on PlayStation are no doubt outstanding but if you are looking to explore new games, you got to be on XBOX SerieS X with Game Pass and only have this for PlayStation exclusives. Given that you won’t be saving a lot of money due to lack of disc drive, you might as well just stick to this console for exclusives alone. Also, slow dashboard and lack of Quick Resume feature makes this the bad option if you want a fast experience.

Great product! Is my 5th ps5 that I bought to give it to my family and always get excited to pickup on the store, opening it is a great experience, love it! Highly recommend to get your ps5 as soon as you can!

The totally new home menu makes it feel next gen, unlike xbox which feels a lot like the last gen. It was extremely hard to get, but now that i have one i can say its by far the best console ive ever played. amazing.

Not the widest selection of game options but those that are compatible have amazing graphics. Controller does not last long but is amazing in hand.

Lucky enough to pull one off of Best Buy’s website.. keep trying if you haven’t gotten one, may the force be with you… sadly the system needs more games since every major title I am looking forward to is getting delayed

I love this PS5. After not owning a console for years, I decided to purchase one and it did not disappoint. Have not encountered any problems or issues so far. Might buy some accessories such as the remote for when I want to watch movies.

Definitely glad I went in for the digital version. PS5's already are the hardest thing to secure and going non-physical in games was a big change now that we have a new place, but I'm loving it. Good luck to everyone trying to get one!

Waiting for Christmas to try this out. My son will be super excited. He thinks I was unable to buy this because it’s been sold out everywhere. But persistence paid off. I just had to stay up all night refreshing my screen to score it at 5:10am.

Took a month to finally get in. Played uncharted 4 and it worked great. Use apple tv on it and picture works perfect. Still waiting to get the vr, but so far I'm glad I bought this for the family.

I love my PS5, the quality is amazing. I love that I can still play my old games from PS4. Also, the images look so real on this console. The sound is amazing. I don't like the look of it. But hey the look don't matter.

My brother and I both got one on the same day, which is great considering how hard these have been to get. Great system. I have this upstairs and an Xbox Series X downstairs in the basement. Nice to be able to choose between the two systems.

Upgraded from ps4 pro . Love new dualshock controller feel . Also love new ui interface. Wouldnt recommend uograding if you have ps4 pro as their isnt any difference but controller and design.

Ahh yea. Best buy total tech memeber came through after over a year of searchkng for a PS5 I was lucky enough to be in direct line for my Ps5 amd the great warranty and fewards that also come with being a memeber

Awesome console! I know it’s hard to get one right now but if you are even half thinking about buying one just keep checking for stock! Wonderful improvements from the PS4 in UI design and WIFi downloading times are, on average, 4-5 times for me.
