Absolutely amazing console. It's a plus everywhere except no support for 1440p (yet) smaller on the storage and no where to be found. If you're lucky enough to snag one it's the best feeling ever. It plays smoothly, amazing details, really fast load times and really well optimized AI upscaling for 4K 60FPS

Truly a next gen console, The experience is amazing with the improved load times and interface. Ray tracing is not a gimmick games look great. The DS5 is the best gaming controller ever (you have to play astros playroom to understand). Just get a screen that can support HDMI 2.0 and up to enjoy improved framerates.

Ive had mine since April and absolutely LOVE it! The gfx are incredible, load times are nearly non-existant, and with PS+ you get free games every month! What’s not to love? Well this thing is huge and it’s white.

Was a birthday gift for my son. Of coarse i wanted it also. He loves it. Pair this with the PS VR2. Awesome! Only negative comment would be storage. These systems should come with at least 1TB memory. 2TB would be better. With these lsrge game downloads you can't have that many at a time

What a beautiful machine. Sony really knocked it out of the park with the PS5. The dualsense controller is amazing. The system is super fast. Games look amazing on it. This console generation has me very excited. If you can get your hands on one of these bad boys buy it ASAP. You won't regret it.

So lucky to get through the checkout process and get a hold of one! This is an impressive system! The load times are amazingly fast and all of my PS4 games look and run so much better and smoother. The coolest thing are the new controllers. The feedback is a tremendous jump over the dualshock. Very happy!

Fantastic console! Fast load times, PS4 backwards compatible games! Spiderman remastered and Demon's Souls makes this a top notch purchase. Awesome controller which is highly improved over the dualshock 4 pad. The only issue is the size of this behemoth. Ps5 slim will be a killer console to own. Good job Sony!

I love everything about the new ps5, the design looks futuristic, the speed of the bee SSD Is so good! The new interface in 4K looks and feels amazing. Graphics is strong with the new ray tracing and 60-120 FPS. It’s a masterpiece. The duel sense controller haptic feedback and adaptive triggers is unmatched.

Fantastic system I highly recommend it. The graphics are great and that audio capabilities are awesome. The controller design is truly groundbreaking. The whole package combined makes for an extremely immersive playing experience. I can only imagine if you pair this with the new VR headset.

I freaking LOVE the PS5. I am so glad the backwards compatibility wasn't just something they threw in and was half-baked, 99% of PS4 games will run flawlessly and most of them will be improved even without a patch. Demon's Souls and Sackboy are 2 really good games to grab at release. There is also a free-to-play Astro game that comes pre-installed that shows off the capabilities of the new controller. The new controller is freaking AMAZING too. I love the shape of it and the haptic feedback is terrific. The triggers even have their own rumble and dynamic tension. In a game like Borderlands 3 some guns like a revolver the R2/L2 buttons will feel like a real trigger when you pull them. It reminds me a LOT of the switch Joycons. I also love the fact that they included 2 USB on the back of the console. I plugged my wireless headset dongle in the back so I don't have to worry about it taking up one of the slots on the front. All in all, I am VERY happy with the PS5. Sony knocked it out of the park with this one. For only $500 too? CRAZY.

Excellent console easy to use. Quality is extremely good compared to the 4 and speed is extremely fast. Very impressed so far with what this console can actually do even with the few games out that take full advantage of it. As more games come out it will be amazing to see what this thing can actually do

I love the ps5 definitely a great upgrade. I was an Xbox fan, still am. Downfall is the ps5 controllers don’t hold enough power to last compared how Xbox controllers you can attach a better battery, however the controllers don’t need to be plugged in during game play unless you need to recharge

Everything advertised about it is flawless. The hardware is sleek, and futuristic looking. The controller feels much more durable than the ps4's controller and very comfortable to hold. The thumbsticks allow for greater movement, it's MUCH easier for you to aim with than with old controllers. The adaptive triggers and dualsense are very immersive and a gift from God himself. You actually have a mic and speaker with a mute button on the controller to speak with your friends if you still don't have a mic. The ps5 itself has insanely fast loading times, just as we saw advertised on the news. The 4k 120fps graphics are such a gift, I will never go back to 1080p again, as the games just look ugly now lol. Games like Battlefield 1 look absolutely gorgeous on my 4k Acer Nitro, and that game already looked beautiful on ps4 as well. I'm not mentioning COD because that franchise has gone to the trash since 2012 with an exception, BO3. It's a disappointment there weren't many ps5 games on release, most everyone is playing a ps4 game upgraded visually to ps5 like BF1.

Sony comes through again. The PS5 is the best console gaming experience out there. The graphics, gameplay and load times cannot be matched. Runs quiet all the time. Couldn’t be happier. A lot of good titles already played and so many more to come. Thanks Sony!

So I’m going to rate the PS5 with 5 stars because for the most part it’s a true marvel graphically, speed and load times, initial game releases have kept me busy to say the least. There was one MAJOR downfall that I experienced and I know others have experienced problems with the system also. Thankfully I didn’t get the screen of death but the system won’t allow me to play my PS4 game discs on my PS5, and that really makes me angry. I spoke to Sony and they gave me troubleshooting options which I completed and still no luck. So my only option is to either buy the games again which I refuse to do or I have to send it back for repair! They said “it should take 10-12 days to get it back” but even couriers are stealing these systems now so I don’t trust it. I’m dying to play Ghost of Tsushima and most of all Battlefield but the hardware is defective. So much for being one of the first to lock down a console but I do absolutely love this system and the controller. I’m giving the Ease of Use a 2 cause I spent hours trying to download my PS4 games.

Absolutely love this console. The graphics on the game are amazing, the controller vibrations are top notch. The only negative thing that I can say about it is the size of the unit. I was lucky enough to get it thru Bestbuy, during the week of Christmas by checking the website through out the day.

PS5 is without a doubt the best and moth powerful console I've used. Sure, you can argue that PC gaming will be more powerful and customizable and future proof, but to pack this much performance and graphics power into such an innovative machine for a starting price of $400/$500 is incredible. The controllers truly shine as well with their new adaptive triggers and the new touch pad functions/design. It also is quite a bit more comfortable than the previous generation of controllers, and every change they've made only enhances the customer experience. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who can get their hands on one of these devices. Last thing is that Best Buy probably has the best current stock structure for releasing these. I was on and off the site in about 10 minutes once they launched their inventory, and the process couldn't have been easier. I've seen friends struggle with stock/inventory with other retailers, and Best Buy is the best of the competition by far in their tiered approach.

This is unbelievably great console in so many ways - fast, quiet, stylish, next-gen games and graphics. There are no downsides, except availability - so wish you all good luck getting it. Definitely worth it for old Playstation fans and newcomers!

The day has finally come! So far I am loving everything about it. I'm obviously a playstation guy so I'm bias, but man this is a beast. I can barely hear it running thanks to the dual fans, I've mostly heard it when it initially runs the disc. Time from start to loading is so fast, I didn't think it would be that big of a deal or changed but it was pretty nice to not have such a long wait time. Even my copy of Overwatch loaded faster from start to main menu. To be be honest the controller is probably one of my favorites things about the Playstation so far. The feedback on it adds a much more immersive gaming experience. the speaker on the ps4 just wasn't ever utilized properly but man, they really knocked it out of the part with this one. When I was playing demons souls I could literally hear and feel these small sounds of stepping through water or my sword dragging across the wall or ground. Obviously yes I am bias and yes this has not been out long for a full review of it. Overall though I completely satisfied with it thus far.

Everything is great so far. It is more of a slice of life console at the moment without to many brand new games that are a must have but in the mean time it’s nice to play my older games with beefed up performance. The newest game I’ve played on it was spider-man miles morales and it looked and played incredibly and makes me excited for the future of games. The main menu takes a bit to get used to but isn’t any worse or better than the PS4 menu in my opinion. The new controllers are really something else and improve the experience a lot more than I thought it would. Just the feeling of the tension on the triggers is something I never thought I needed but it’s a game changer. Overall I’d be fine on my PS4 but if you’re lucky enough to get the ps5 I’d go for it just for some great performance enhancements but I’m still waiting for some new games to come out that really take in all the ps5 can do.
