Was lucky to preorder a console version on the initial launch day and I’ve waited over a month before I thought it was time to give a proper review. I’d start with the graphics: so far the graphics and performance has been phenomenal, matched with an Lg Oled and the 2.1 hdmi the graphics are insane on games like miles morales Spider-Man and even on ps4 games like gta V and cyberpunk 2077. I’ve read a lot of other ps5 owners complain and their consoles crashing or being bricked due to numerous issues but I’ve yet to encounter that problem. I haven’t had one hiccup and I play almost daily and for hours at a time. No lagging or delayed game play at all. Also the noise level is very nice. It’s not completely silent but it’s not loud by any means, it’s nowhere near the infamous ps4 noises. Honestly can’t think of any cons at the moment. Worth the buy if you can get your hands on one.

Perfection! Loads up games a lot faster than the PS4, the graphics are incredible, and the new controller features add a little extra something to the games. We have 3 PS5s and I would buy over and over again!

Got it 2020 and until this day is running perfectly fine as the day I got it.

Fun, Fun, Fun! Lucky enough to get one and glad I decided to try. The graphics are great. The system is fast. I can play older games. The new haptic controllers are cool and add that extra oomph to each game. If you can get one, do it.

I was fortunate to be one of the first to get my PS5. Excellent load times. The graphics and sound are outstanding on 4K resolution and home theatre system. Library of available games is impressive Controller with feedback is greatly improved over PS4.

This gen consoles have bridged the gap between PC and consoles. The specs are amazing for a console. I don't recommend people buy one if they are looking to play next gen games as there is barely any but this console is a great upgrade from current ones and will make gaming a bit more enjoyable with better graphics, better resolution, and faster load times. I've seen people say that a 4k tv is a must but I do not agree with that. I enjoy playing cinematic games on 4k but some games even play better on 1080p just because it can reach a frame rate of 60fps or higher. 100% recommend this if you are looking for an upgrade and future proof your gaming experience for a while. If you are looking to play new games, I say just wait for the pro version of it or until more PS5 only games are released as the only game I would consider a true next gen game rn is Demon Souls.

Great console first time ever having a playstation and the graphics are unbeliavable and the games for this platform are one of a kind. Recommend more than Xbox!

Was very easy to set up and transfer everything from my PS4. So far running great have had no issues. Everything loads very quickly. Controller is awesome. Miles Morales looked fantastic on it. The free game on it Astro Playroom was so much fun.

I held off on reviewing this to see if any bugs or issues have come since purchasing this. After about a couple of months, I can honestly say I'm satisfied with the purchase. I haven't experienced any issues as of late, and man, the fast loading time has been well received on my end. The only bug I have experienced is the console turning on once my TV is turned on (Not an inconvenience but can be hassle when trying to switch into using my chromecast). Other than that, I loved the design, the controller feels a lot better to use than the previous model on the PS4. As for getting this or the new xbox, it's really up to the user. It sucks having to wait for the exclusive games to come out with the PS5, where as the games worth playing are readly availble for the new xbox. Other than that, I don't see any issue with either option.

Love my PS5, graphics are as advertised. Fast loading speeds. This machine is a lot quieter than my PS4 and it makes all my old games look better. I recommend purchasing your f you are an advisor gamer or just someone who likes cool tech.

I mean what is there really to say. Amazing controller, looks outstanding on a 4k OLED and is very simple to use, plus its almost completely backwards compatible with every ps4 game.

What can I say, Sony hit the mark with this amazing console everybody has been waiting for, everything is great to the games and the console itself, its quiet and works great, except for the storage could’ve been better.

First PlayStation I’ve owned, despite having many Nintendo and Xbox consoles. The selection of exclusive games had me intrigued, and the games have not disappointed. The included Astro’s Playroom was a mind blowing demonstration of the controller’s abilities, and hope to see more games in the lineage. The controller is what really stands out as being the most impressive differentiator between the Xbox Series X and the PS5. The new triggers and tactile vibrations make this feel truly new and pulls you into the gameplay. The only downside currently is that the options for streaming service apps is limited. Was surprised to find that Spectrum TV does not have an app on the console, but the blame lies solely on Spectrum. One more thing to keep in mind, this is a whopper sized console, so you may have to do some planning on where you’re going to put the machine.

I have to say Sony did a good job in wise of design. There is a drastic difference with performance compared to the ps4 pro heck why am I even comparing the two PS5 is a whole different monster load time are greatly reduced. Guys and girls don’t get confused that load times are completely obliterated it just doesn’t work that way. Graphics are a step up speaking in gaming consoles PC’s are a different monster aha. But I enjoy this system and I hope for the ones that do get there hands on one I hope you enjoy it too. Only one gripe but hope they think it over on ps5 gen 2 is that placement of the two ports i just wished they spaced them out a bit i partially blame steel series for not designing a better usb-c headset receiver it partially blocks the USB port and it’s annoying having to unplug the receiver it if I want to charge a device or etc using the front USB port.

Love my new Playstation 5! This console is definitely next gen! It loads games incredibly fast and everything runs seamlessly. Not to mention it is almost dead silent despite having been played on for hours. Incredibly pleased with my purchase!

As mainly a PC gamer, an Xbox Series X is not a consideration, although I highly recommend their new controller for PC, but there’s a lot more to be gained paring this PS5 next to my PC. PS exclusives are mainly the reason I purchased this console. They run amazing in this machine when updated. 4K 60fps stuns if you have a screen that can deliver. The new PS5 controller is a massive improvement over the previous DualShock. But even if I weren’t a PC gamer I would pick this console due to its incredible value. For 400$ plus tax you get mid-high end performance that a PC can output (with some caveats). You are still at the mercy of developer’s whims for settings whereas in my PC if I have the hardware, I can customize my experience. Either way, if you can snag one, pull the trigger and pair it with a new screen to fully appreciate it. But DO NOT pay scalper prices!

Very tough to actually purchase but if you’re lucky enough this is the best console ever. The speed is blazing fast and it’s looks aesthetically pleasing. Great selection of games and love the controller as well! 5/5

I’ve been happy about my ps5 since 2020, it still amazes me to this day!

Load times are great, graphics are amazing. The controller dual sense is mind blowing. Only downfall is that there are still a few bugs with it. It shuts down or doesn’t download content. I’ve had to do a factory reset once already. But still recommend!

Was difficult to get, but I was lucky enough to get one! Gave it to my brother as a birthday gift and he enjoys using it. Definitely worth getting one if you enjoy playing console games. It is a bit bulky, but overall, it performs very well.
