Replacing my PS5 that had been shutting down me this year, I've owned a PS5 practically since it first launched. In that time, there hasn't been much in the way of quality games. There were a few good ones in its first year, and this year I've played a couple so far (namely Hogwarts Legacy and Final Fantasy XVI). PS5 is a lot like the PS4 that came before it: disappointing with a complete lack of amazement from the gaming department. At least the system does manage to pump out 4k visuals in games that take advantage of the technology. The haptic feedback, however, is not something I've seen most developers touch on. So far, the best game on PS5 to this day is the freebie that comes packaged with every system, Astro's Playroom. I'm still waiting on a developer that can outperform the system's impressive pack-in. As for the system itself, I do think the PS5 is the best-looking system in the current generation. Standing out more so than the basic PS4, it has a decent design that pops out a bit more than usual. The DualSense controller is barely different from the DualShock 4. Whoever's idea it was to implement a microphone directly into the controller is stupid, as you can hardly hear other people and they won't be able to pick up on what you're saying either. Thus far, PS5 isn't much of an advantage over the PS4 that came before it. With PS4 being Sony's worst console of all time, PS5 has been following along that same line with the same faulty first-party lineup giving little reason to jump aboard this sinking ship. Relying entirely on third-parties this generation to find some solace with the PS5, it's an ongoing waiting game of seeing if and when there is at the very least one game that'll grab my attention over the several months that companies release this associated information each year. As of this moment, 2023 currently has nothing lined up for the year's closing. Do I want another cruddy Spider-Man game? Nope! Not being a fan of Call of Duty, rehashes, or remakes either, there's simply nothing to be excited about right now. Will next year get any better? It's doubtful.

What can I say about this GORGEOUS gaming console that hasn’t been said by multiple other people <3 Bottom line I love my ps5 SO MUCH! I’ve had it for a few months now and I haven’t had any issues. I do recommend buying an internal SSD for it if you can so you can store all your games on it more comfortably! I also recommend buying an Ethernet cord for faster download speeds and less lag when gaming online!! 10/10 would recommend I’m SO HAPPY!

Its bulky and a bit noisy but the preformance is great. I love playing FC 24 on it..

This console is amazing, unbelievable product. I am proud I jumped from computer to PlayStation 5. So easy and quality is exceptional. I got for racing games only to enjoy the competition and the driving. I added a racing wheel, pedals and shifter, I installed in a cockpit. Now I am feeling like a real race car driver. Don't forget to buy games with, racing games and come to compete with me.

The graphics are outstanding and the speed is off the chart, I would recommend this for everyone

Love it. We still have PS4, but I adore the 5. Love the controllers. Just wish the controller speakers were louder.

I recently upgraded from a ps4 and there is a huge difference,the reviews you see on youtube may not seem like it does a huge difference,but it does and good ones too,every game you play,when scrolling through things feels a lot more faster and smoother,the graphics are insane,i would highly recommend buying a tv that suports HDR that is great with Next Gen consoles so you can get the best out of it.10/10
