I’ve had my PS5 for a little while now and honestly, it’s amazing. I use it for everything—from chill games like Stardew Valley to big titles like Final Fantasy XVI—and it handles them all like a champ. The graphics are beautiful, everything loads super fast, and the whole experience just feels smooth. The controller is one of my favorite parts. The haptics and triggers are wild—it actually makes you feel the game more. I didn’t think I’d care much about that feature, but it totally adds to the experience. Super fun to use, even during long sessions. Also, it’s way quieter than I expected and looks really nice in my setup. No weird fan noise or anything. The menus are easy to navigate, and switching between games or apps is super quick. I’ve been using it for gaming, streaming, and just relaxing—it really does it all. If you’re thinking about getting one, do it. I’m seriously impressed and really happy with it.

I wasn’t intending on upgrading to a PS5 until the pro was released. However, my PS4 Pro (Death Stranding edition) was experiencing some wifi connectivity issues. I only had the special edition one for two years and I had to send it in for repairs, causing me to lose all of my data. Because I play with my friends a lot as downtime after work or on the weekends, my hand was forced at that point. I couldn’t operate efficiently with the constant connectivity problems. That being said, I’m glad I switched to the PS5. The load times are about 1-2 seconds long (compared to my old load times at 30 seconds to 1 minute), the graphics are excellent and the controller features are quite an upgrade. The only downside is how LARGE it is. I lay it down horizontally (it’s actually better for your console just an FYI) and it does take up a significant amount of space. But that’s the ONLY con to this system. Now I can display my Death Stranding Playstation and game with friends without worry. I also like how you can switch the color plates on these consoles. I bought the black side plates to give it a blacked out look - very cool!

By far, my favorite things about the PS5 so far are the nearly non-existent load times, the 4K graphics and the controller features. Gone are the days of loading screens. Wait times are down to only a few seconds compared to a minute or more with the older systems. That's a total game changer in my opinion. Secondly, the graphics are unreal. UHD 4K graphics run seamlessly, with unprecedented detail and next level ray tracing capabilities, without the jet liner turbofan sound that the PS4 is so notorious for when playing videogames. Additionally, I love the haptic feedback and trigger resistance on the controllers. It brings a new level of immersion to games that utilize the function that has never before been possible. Feeling the tension of a bow and arrow as you draw the string back only adds to the realism of the experience. The PS5 is an upgrade over past generation game systems in nearly every way possible and is well worth the investment. With the PS VR 2 now available and exclusive only to the PS5, it is just one more reason to pick up this system. If you don't have one yet, go buy one! It's totally worth every penny of the asking price!

Lets be honest, the ps5 is definitely an upgrade without a dbout. The UI (User interface) takes a second to get used to. But for speed and preformance, it is really fast. It may not be as gast as the latest xbox, but it keeps up. I do wish the design was a bit smaller on the size but for the masive cooling equipment it has and how quiet it is, is very nice. I do really like that it can be cleanable by anyone and you can also add a SSD for even more additional storage. All in all the PS5 is a step up and i recommend it to anyone wanting to still upgrade. I waited 5 years to actually upgrade from a PS4 Pro to a PS5 (so yeah definitely worth it!)

Fantastic console. You can't beat the performance that it gives you for $500. I now have access to most games having a PC and this. I regularly choose the ps5 over my PC because of the ease of use and raw performance. Highly recommend to anyone. The controller is the best one I have ever used in terms of features. The adaptive triggers is next level and the vibration motors are fantastic. The only ding in the battery life but with all the features packed in, I can't expect it to last as long as my elite series 2. I use my dual sense controller on my PC and ps5 over all my other controllers. Would buy again.
