The PS5 is exactly as advertised. Sleek, fast, and intuiitve. It succeeds on all of its promises and then some. The main issues are also apparent. Short controller battery life. Small storage space for games. Overall, a great way to get into next gen gaming!

Has been great for the few months that Ive had it. Bought it since my ps4 stopped working completely. Ive been wanting to upgrade anyway. I would have not bought one if they didnt have the option of adding more storage without needing a external harddrive. With the games nowadays you need way more storage. Lots of perks and can see a big difference in overall performance.

So far so good, I haven't had any issues with this console. The performance and graphics alone are a huge improvements from my old PS4 Pro. I'm finishing my campaign on Ghost of Tsushima and even though its a PS4 copy, the game looks even better on this console. I recommend upgrading the storage capacity as soon as possible. The games nowadays are bigger than their PS4 counterparts.

I have my PS5 for a very long time and is totally worth it. I had pcs before and some of them were having a lot of updates, trouble connections or even all of the sudden a very big crash in terms of performance. And im talking brands such as HP Omen, Alienware and Asus. Those can be good at other stuff but if you truly want gaming. Just get the PS5. The only counterpart. The Joysticks control can easily stop working. Be mindful about it (even though you won't) just take the PS5 Pro Control

2023-2026 still running strong as day 1 in vertical position, don't skimp on disc model. Digital games did horizontal on the PSP GO...meh what could go wrong on a box with no resale equity. Controller must be made of Vibranium or Adamantium LOL cause I could have a short film on my controllers drop life! Keep up the good work Sony!!

Good design. Owned it since 4 months and so far no overheating issue I was keep hearing about. Even though after hours of playing games. I put it on its side though, not vertically. Didn't want to take the risk. Graphics are good and connections are good. Control's battery life is really good too. If you enjoyed earlier models, you'll love this one!

No problems with this ps5 at all. I have had it for awhile now and it still works good. Storage is horrible. I can only have 3 games installed without a backup hard drive.

Being a late adopter for the PS5 I thought I already knew what to expect. Was I wasn't expecting was the sheer joy of using the dual sense contoller. It truly is a masterpiece of engineering lending itself to the immersion of the game. The included game "Astro Bot" is a visual tour de force that showcases those features and more. While the PS5 does have a beast under its hood, most games can not have ray tracing on, aka "fidelity mode" and run at 4k 60fps, only a locked 4k 30fps. Thankfully many games do have visual options such as "Performance RT" which runs the games with Ray Tracing features on but at a dynamic resolution with variable fps up to 120fps. There is also a "performance mode" which runs the game at 4k, or near 4k with no RT shaders, running the game at a near constant 120fps. I normally use the "performance rt" mode which gives the best of both worlds. Coming from a PC with a 2070 Super GPU, I am very impressed with the the PS5. From the near instant resume play, simplicity of its user interface, and loads of games from its previous consoles, Sony has a grand slam with the PS5. However, it does come with a small storage capacity by today's game standard at only 825GB, but that can be upgraded to fit more games if needed.

Why did I wait so long to get this? Compared to my PS4, that sounds like a old bomber plane from WWII when playing Elden Ring, this console is quiet! Even with a 2017 LG 4k TV (60 hz refresh rate), the graphics look so rich and smooth! Backwards compatibility with most PS4 games and higher refresh rate locking has me wanting to replay my old library, but looking at the new titles lineup for PS5 has my heart racing!
