The controller is one of the best I’ve used. The console runs really quiet. The console is a lot bigger than I expected and I had to place it on top of my entertainment stand.

Not aesthetically pleasing. It's horrifically oversized and sticks out of any TV stand like a sore thumb. The controller is amazing. Haptic feedback may sound like a gimmick, but it makes a huge different in the feel of the game. Playing this console still feels pretty lonely and the $70 price tag on first-party games is definitely limiting if you are on a budget. Wont even get into paid upgrades...

Sony really did a good job with this one. The graphics, speed, the way the controller fells it just all works. This will be one of there staples for years to come

Amazing high definition graphics and fast load times make this a cut above the rest of the next gen consoles. The haptic feedback on the controller is a game changer!!!

Hands down, the best console out right now. Which is why it's so hard to obtain one. So far I've had no issues with mine, fingers crossed, and have been loving it since launch. The controller innovation alone is not like anything I've experienced before. Definitely play Astros Playroom to understand. Even I was skeptical about their big push on the controller features, and I assure you that it's not just a gimmick. It will ultimately come down to how well developers utilize them in there end though. I have high hopes they will, it's just too good not to. You can however change the intensity of completely turn it off of it's not something you enjoy. So don't fret if that would possibly turn you away because you think it would ruin your competitive CoD play. I do have a TV capable of using the 120fps mode, and those games that offer that feel so smooth. Definitely recommend when play FPS games online. Other than that 4k 60 fps is what I stick to, unless I just want to gush over some ray tracing for a bit. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PUT THE CONSOLE IN STANDBY MODE WHILE UPLOADING VIDEOS TO YOUR MESSAGES/YOUTUBE/TWITTER. A friend did that, and the console was stuck trying to put itself into standby mode. He did get the issue resolved, but just to be safe, don't do that. Those with PS4 should know what I'm talking about. Other than that, you should be fine. In my own opinion, this is by far the best PlayStation Sony had made. I would even dare say that it's the best out right now, seeing as it's going toe to toe and even outperforming in some areas. For a $500 console (or $400 if you want just Digital), it's running games at a high end PC level in the $1400-$2000 range. That's just impressive. It is by no means a perfect console, there are some things I do not like about it or the decisions they made. Such as how short the power cord is, which limited where I could put it on my entertainment center. With its size, it could be a problem for dinner people. Not my complaint, but it is some people's complaints. I wish the disk drive was a little quieter, but I do play with a headset, so I don't notice it while playing. But you will if you don't. It's not a constant loud nose, but it is for a few seconds here and there. Storage! But I understand why they went with that size, to help keep the price down. Also with as fast as it downloads and installs (dependant on your internet speed) it's not all that bad to remove games you're not playing at that time. But they should have been ready to have expanded storage ready. We're just wait on that. And PS5 games will not be stored on external HDD's or SSD's, so you can't just move them over. Which is another con I have, but it's not a big deal to me. PS4 games however can be stored externally and run off the external drive to save space for your PS5 games on the console. Not much to gripe about really for me, just nit-pick stuff. But I'm enjoying the console and loving the games. It's all about the games, that's what matters. And Sony is delivering.

Awesome new console. The hype for the PS5 was warranted. Graphics are amazing & new SSD allows games to load faster. New features are great except it is a bit heavy & tall.

I’ve had my ps5 good amount of time now and I absolutely love it! Although one disappointing thing about it is that once you do the updates and operating systems, you only get about maybe 600 gb, which is inconvenient since games these days are just getting bigger and bigger. You could buy an ssd but that also cost money which you will have to fork over if you plan on playing then 3 to 4 games. Overall it’s an amazing console.

What is there not to love about this next gen masterpiece! The controller is definitely the main course when thinking about the ps5, being able to play a free and awesome Astros Playroom right outta the box is a W! The haptic feedback is unmatched when compared to any other controller or lame keyboard with annoying clicks. My only wish is that future ps5 games utilize the haptics and allow us to choose how intense they are in the settings. Lastly SONY IF YOUR READING THIS, BRING BACK MY FRIENDS LIST I HATE THE WAY YOU MADE THE NEW FRIENDS LIST. I CARE ABOUT CERTAIN FRIENDS SONY NOT ALL MY PSN FRIENDS ARE REALLY FRIENDS!!!!!!!!

Awesome system, very quick loading. It was a little tricky at first to understand how to use the PS5 version of the PS4 disc. But with a little patience and making sure not to transfer the old saved game on the PS4 when moving content, the fresh download displayed the option clearly. Add in the mountain of free PS4 games, the fact I can still buy games like COD and Assassin's Creed Valhalla for PS4 and share them with my kids without having to buy two versions of the game is great! Size is a little bulky, but with everything getting smaller, it almost looks like an art piece on my shelf! No regrets, no complaints!

Works great, way faster than the PS4. Only real complaint I have is that some apps from the PS4 era haven't been optimized yet, but that should be resolved soon enough
