Coming Out Swinging
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Probably one of the strongest system launches I can remember. Super fast SSD loads content in an instant, slick new UI makes the console “feel” like a next gen piece of hardware, and the new, vastly improved Dual Sense controller rounds out the package. The system launches with a number of solid ways to show off the new system, including the excellent pack in game, Astro’s Playroom, as well as a remade Demon’s Souls, built from the ground up for PS5, and a new friggin’ Spider-Man game! So, yeah ... the system is great!

Like a PS4 Pro but better, a lot better.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow. Me personally I prefer consoles when it comes to gaming, and the PS5 did not disappoint. I recommend everyone that has the opportunity to purchase one to take the time to play Astro's Playroom, it shows you how the PS5 works and it features in a very entertaining way. Then make yourself a favor and install an M.2 SSD because PS5 games take a lot of space, and while you are at it plug in an external HDD so you can install and play all your digital PS4 games.

Bigger but better
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Outside of the bulkiness in size, I am satisfied with the purchase. This thing is massive, first gen PS3 massive. The adaptive controls are a nice new feature, as well as the faster load times. I was lucky to get one of these after months of not being able to, only to hear that a new design is coming out. A great improvement from the PS4.

The Unicorn
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was lucky enough to get myself one. The lack of new PS5 titles early on is as expected. But I'm playing through FF7 Remake and it loads faster and runs smoother. Cant wait for the next gen release of it. I tried running the console on the vertical method and it just....looked too much of a conversation starter. So I installed mine down and it seems to perform just as well so dont feel pressured to have yours sitting vertical. Manual states that temps should not be altered and it supports either way.

Amazing Next Gen Machine!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been waiting to get a PS5 for a long time after trading in my PS4 for Xbox 1 X. The wait is over. And I am not disappointed. Backward combability is amazing. I can play really much all my PS4 games on this bad boy. The graphics are great! I can see all the little details on Spiderman and the Last of US part II. But I am mostly impressed by the load time. I can load most of my games in less than 10 seconds! Sony has really nailed it. You can't build a gaming PC as powerful as PS5 for $500. Highly recommended it!

Pretty much a fast & Overpriced PS4
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The console is enormous compared to other previous consoles. The controller feels good, there isn’t much difference between the PS4 & PS5 versions. It still plays PS4 games so it’s definitely worth it to wait till they are in stock on the regular. The only thing I see as upside is the load times are extremely short so keeps your play more fluent.

PS5 is where it's at - purchase tip included))
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you want an awesome gaming counsel with better graphics than the ps4, an updated controller, updated interface, and access to all of the upcoming sweet looking games than this is the console for you. The only tough part is its hard to purchase. I would recommend pre-loading your info into your best buy account, make a Twitter account, and follow various ps5 stock alert users, and keep your notifications on. When you get a moment notification log into you best buy account asap and try to purchase. Good luck!

Sony does it for the fifth straight time.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely phenomenal new console. Importing old PS4 data is a breeze, updates and downloads are fast, load times are non existent on Spiderman: Miles Morales. The only con is the lack of launch titles, but the amount of PS4 games that run better on PS5 is almost worth the price of investment alone. The only downside is this console is massive. It doesn't fit anywhere on my stand vertically, and horizontally it still takes up a lot of space. It was expected, but it's still a big piece of hardware that will stand out.

Worth the Upgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had this console for a while, and all I can say is that the experience is amazing. Sony really did a great job including everything in the box, including an HDMI cable, and the quality is insane. The haptic feedback on the dual sense is unlike anything i’ve ever experienced and the little details like the blue lights on the side of the console really add to the experience. In terms of gaming, there are faster load up times compared to the ps4, however graphically it’s about the same.

Worth it
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Yes it’s slightly bulky, but it’s super quiet and runs very smooth! The main attraction is really going to be the remote control.

Hard to get still months later but well worth it!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Aside from not being able to stick them adequately, PlayStation 5 has been a great win for Sony. The exclusives are amazing and growing rapidly. The graphics are truly awesome. And the new controller has been such an improvement over the PS4 controller especially if you have giant hands like me. One of the main reasons I primarily used my Xbox One instead of PlayStation 4 was the ergonomics of the Xbox One controller. Well things have changed anc I now truly enjoy using the new DualSense controller.

PS5 RULES
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was an Xbox boi for years, finally made the switch cause I couldn’t find an Xbox in stock, at first I was like “what did I do!?!?”, took me about 6 days to fall head over ankles completely in love with it. The load screens are so short, you can’t even read the “tips” they sometimes display quick enough. The graphics are beautiful, and the way it syncs up to your tv, coming on automatically when turning on tv with remote or turning off when setting tv on a sleep timer, it’s a beautiful thang.

Happy ish gamer!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am so happy I was able to purchase one in October! My ps4 died on me in August so decided to try for a ps5! I've had a great experience with my ps5 was able to download and play all my games! The PS5 compared to the ps4 is much faster and I love the new dual sense controller! I do have two cons with my experience (4 stars). Number one is the storage. You will definitely need to buy some type of external storage. This being the digital version it will require so much more storage for all your games. Number two is actually the durability and quality of the controller. My controller recently suffered from drifting. I tried some YouTube videos and nothing. I contacted Sony and sent it to be fixed and replaced. I am currently waiting for my controller to be returned to me. As of right now I cannot play any ps5 games since those require a dual sense controller. I can play ps4 games with my dual shock controller. I read online that a lot of people have been experiencing the same problem with their dual sense controller. It's been very disappointing
