Great Value
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worth it.The PS5 Pro is an outstanding upgrade for gamers seeking top-tier performance and visuals. The improved hardware delivers noticeably smoother gameplay and stunning 4K graphics with enhanced ray tracing, making games feel more immersive than ever. Load times are practically nonexistent thanks to the super-fast SSD, and the console runs surprisingly quiet even during intense gaming sessions. While the price may feel steep, the overall quality and future-proof features make it a worthwhile investment for dedicated gamers. Highly recommended for anyone ready to elevate their gaming experience!

Not for everyone, but there is a clear difference.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own a fat PS5 and an Xbox Series X, and had the money to upgrade to this console. The price is cery high, so it is not for everyone in that regard, but also in what the console provides. The console offers more power in both of the consoles I mentioned, and it is quite noticeable with a 4k tv, as the games in quality mode are incredibly crisp, something that the regular PS5 struggle to do so a lot compared to the Xbox Series X, and takes it to a higher level compared to the Series X, but the most noticeable power increase from both consoles are in the performance modes in games, 60 fps as usual with these consoles, but with far more features from the quality mode as a higher upscaled 4K and some extra bits in some games like Ray Tracing. And to hardcore competitive gamers, this console goes a lot higher than 80-90 FPS in most fps games. Overall, if you have the money and a 4K and or 120hz TV or monitor, yes- and if you are patient, maybe wait for the PS6, but even then, seeing the PS4 still kept alive, getting any PS5, specially this one, doesn’t seem like a bad choice.

Awesome console
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I noticed significant performance differences in comparison to the Base PS5. The processor and fan are much more efficient, and the storage base is a bit larger than the PS5. Loading screens obviously load much quicker. I recommend playing the PS5 Pro Enhanced titles like KCD2, Balders Gate 3, and Dead Island 2.

FUN CONOLSE
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The PS5 Pro delivers impressive 4K gaming performance with enhanced ray tracing and smoother frame rates. While the upgraded GPU provides noticeable visual improvements in supported games, the premium price point may only appeal to enthusiasts seeking the absolute best PlayStation experience. Solid upgrade for serious gamers.

Power at a Premium
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After several months with the PlayStation 5 Pro, I can confirm it's the most powerful console Sony has ever released. Whether that power matters depends entirely on your gaming priorities and budget. Performance Upgrades The hardware improvements are substantial. The GPU delivers roughly 45% faster rendering than the base PS5, with significantly more compute units and faster memory. The doubled storage capacity is genuinely appreciated since modern games can easily exceed 200GB. PSSR (PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution), Sony's AI-powered upscaling technology, is the real differentiator. When implemented properly, it's impressive. Games like Spider-Man 2, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered deliver sharp 4K visuals at 60fps with enhanced ray tracing. The difference from the base PS5 is immediately noticeable, textures look sharper, reflections feel realistic, and performance remains smooth. Enhanced ray tracing performs 2-3 times faster than the base model, creating substantially better lighting and shadows without performance penalties. For anyone with a quality 4K TV or high refresh rate monitor, the visual improvements are clear. That compromise between quality and performance modes essentially disappears here. Significant Issues The lack of included disc drive and vertical stand feels like nickel-and-diming customers on an already expensive console. The digital-only default forces complete reliance on PlayStation Store pricing, eliminating cheaper physical or used game options. PSSR has real problems in certain titles. Games like Silent Hill 2, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and Alan Wake 2 exhibited serious visual artifacts, shimmering surfaces, and unstable image quality. Some games actually look worse than they did on the base PS5. Several developers have disabled PSSR entirely and reverted to traditional upscaling because the AI implementation wasn't working correctly. These issues stem from PSSR being new technology that developers are still learning. Games using older development tools can't access the latest improvements, leaving them with inferior versions. Sony has announced PSSR 2 for 2026, but that doesn't address current problems. Third-party support remains disappointing. Many new releases launch without Pro enhancements, which feels absurd on a premium console. The PlayStation Store doesn't even detail what enhancements are included, you often need to check forums just to determine if a game is optimized. For players focused on single-player campaigns or those without premium displays, improvements often feel marginal. I've completed entire games where I genuinely forgot I was using the Pro because the visual differences became unnoticeable after initial impressions. Who Benefits The Pro serves competitive multiplayer players, those with premium displays, visual fidelity enthusiasts, and anyone who can comfortably afford the investment. For this audience, it delivers the absolute best PlayStation experience available. For everyone else, the value is questionable. The base PS5 plays identical games and still looks excellent. The Pro offers better graphics, not different games. If budget is a consideration or you're satisfied with your current PS5, upgrading makes little sense. The Verdict The PS5 Pro is technically impressive and delivers the best console gaming experience in 2025. The power is genuine, the storage upgrade is welcome, and properly implemented PSSR produces beautiful results. However, the high barrier to entry, missing accessories, inconsistent upscaling performance, and limited third-party support make this a niche product. It's a boutique console for graphics enthusiasts rather than a necessary upgrade.

Best Christmas Service Ever!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased a PS5 from Best Buy just before Christmas, and the entire experience was outstanding. The PS5 itself is incredible with lightning fast load times, stunning graphics, and an overall next level gaming experience that truly lives up to the hype. On top of that, the service at Best Buy was excellent. The staff was knowledgeable, efficient, and made the purchase process smooth and stress free during a busy holiday season. Great product, great service, and a purchase I am very happy with.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.5 Stars – A Next-Level Gaming Experience! The PS5 Pro is everything I hoped for and more. Lightning-fast performance, stunning visuals, and incredibly smooth gameplay take console gaming to the next level. Games load almost instantly, and the upgraded graphics make every detail pop, especially on a 4K screen. The system stays cool and quiet even during intense sessions. Sony really outdid themselves—this feels like the future of gaming. Highly recommend to any serious gamer!

Amazing for large 4k VRR displays
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you have a large 4k VRR TV you will appreciate this console a lot. The picture quality is amazing with supported games, standouts are all the Spiderman games and Horizon. Other games with un-capped frame rate options benefit greatly like Elden Ring, allowing you to run it in its quality mode at much higher fps. However, if you have a 48in 4k TV, or a 1080p TV and just want a console, I would go with the standard PS5, as it will be harder to distinguish the visual upgrades. There are some games that use better fidelity effects with the improved hardware, but most of what this console is about is delivering a sharper image with better performance.

||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purshased the ps5 pro because i heard alot of good things about it. Coming from PC with a intel i9, 4080 graphics card i really doubted the ps5 was gonna impress me but mannn. It trully did im playing fornight, and this new season has alot of detail graphics and the ps5 pro is playing it at 170fps the highest i saw it go to a steady 135fps and the box says it only play up to 120fps. So the fact is playing way higher is really impressive. Note i play it on a 65 inch LG G5 TV and for it to play on such a big tv desplaying so high FPS is insane to me.

Best Gaming Console at the moment
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is best gaming console on the market - plenty of power in a familiar form factor. Smaller than original PS5, easy to add SSD (although you already have 2tb out of the box), all the existing accessories going to work without issues. A number of enhanced games you can play right now. If you don't have a dedicated gaming computer or laptop - this is the way to go. Downsides - nothing additional in the box, for example - if you need a vertical stand - you will have to buy it. No regrets from my side in buying it - easy plug and play solution for my needs.

You don’t have to collect all the discs for games. The look is different than the older models. The graphics are insane. It’s got a lot to choose from for free games and to purchase. PS5 PRO
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the first PlayStation 5 version when it was released, and it was a great console that lasted me a long time. Then, the PlayStation 5 Pro was announced, and I knew I had to get it. The additional storage is fantastic, and the improved graphics and gaming experience are a huge plus. I genuinely enjoy playing on it. I wish we had gotten a better controller, though. The DualSense controller is great, but I’m sure it will need to be replaced as the sticks start to drift. Other than that, I’m very happy with my PlayStation 5 Pro.

PS 5 PRO
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The PlayStation 5 Pro is a fantastic upgrade for gamers seeking better performance and visuals. The enhanced graphics, smoother gameplay with 120Hz support, and realistic ray tracing make gaming truly immersive. I’m especially happy about the increased storage capacity—it’s a relief not having to constantly delete games to make space. The improved cooling system and upgraded haptic feedback on the controllers are also great additions. While it’s a bit pricey and bulkier, the PS5 Pro is worth it for anyone serious about gaming.
