It is on the expensive side, and while it doesn’t include a disk drive by default, Sony allows you to purchase and add one separately. This combined with an oled tv, is an incredible way to game. It's much slimmer and sleeker than the base ps5 and the already included 2tb storage is greatly appreciated.

If you have the tech to actually make this beast work its magic it's gorgeous and stupid fast. Upgraded storage, great improvement on the psvr2 quality as well, added USB c ports, sturdier USB a ports and no bulky disc drive are only the start. But if you don't have a 4K 120 hz TV with 2.1 HDMI capability, VRR ALLM etc then it's just not going to do a lot more than your current setup with a PS5. This is what I think the PS5 claimed to be when it first came out. I just got a brand new TV and let this thing do what it was meant to do for the first time and it's night and day in quality of picture and frame rate. I think this would be a great choice for those who are skeptical of the PS6 roll out and want to still get the best Sony has to offer in that transitional stage.

Everything is great about the performance and 2tb of storage. This loses one star for a disc drive not being included. You can buy one separately but this is the most expensive console right now and it should include a disc drive. You only should buy this console if standard ps5 performance is unsatisfactory for you.
