Awesome upgrade from the 1st gen OG ps5
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from the 1st gen OG launch day ps5 and I love it, definitely faster loading than the OG ps5. Though my other 5 is still running fine, this one is definitely an upgrade. I wanted the better graphics capability and ray tracing, games are even more beautiful. I'm fortunate to be able to upgrade

Better than the rest
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I previously broke my 2020 Ps5 and ended up getting the ps5 pro, honestly it has a bunch of storage I can have multiple games installed at once which is very nice. It's slimmer and definitely a lot less heavier!

Ps5 pro the real truth
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this as I have been a playstation gamer since the original. I've had all the consoles since launch. This to me is sonys greatest console ever. However the price is very high and also you need to buy the disc drive which is a further £100. Totaling $900 for console and disc drive. To the average consumer that is a huge chunk of money. You also have to have a newer TV with all the bells and whistles on it. Ie vrr. 120htz. 4k.hdr.etc. But once you have all that the difference is mind blowing in games that have been ps5 pro enhanced. Alan wake 2 is absolutely incredible. The details and the ray tracing effects are on another level. Every game so far I have replayed is outstanding in some sort of way. The ps5 pro also enhances certain ps4 games which is fantastic. Giving your old ps4 games a new lease of life. Would I recommend this product. Absolutely. But it is expensive. Very offer 12 months buy now pay later which is a lot less stressful on the wallet. If you are feeling on the fence over this product. Belive me when I say it is an outstanding piece of technology. This is the future of gaming.

Best Gaming Console
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is hands down the best gaming console you can get today. Yes, it’s pricey compared to other options, but it delivers on its promises. It’s also rumored to be the unofficial console of choice for the upcoming highly anticipated GTA VI. Why is that exciting? PlayStation’s Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) is getting an update soon this year just before some other heavy hitter games. PSSR has been great, delivering what consoles of this generation have promised but failed to do: 4K gaming with high frame rates consistently. It’s genuinely impressive how well the AI in PSSR works to deliver outstanding detail. And this is coming from a former Xbox fanboy. The Series X didn’t excite me anymore and I felt like Sony was cooking up something good with the PS5 Pro. I’m definitely satisfied. Can’t wait for PSSR to release as it’s said to upgrade older games as well and improve further on clarity and boost frame rates. This year will be amazing for console gaming.

Ps5 pro
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Coming from the launch edition console i don’t really notice a difference in performance i only upgraded cause of the price and needed more memory. I can say its quieter and it doesn’t come with a disc drive sold separately and sony doesn't have any plates yet for it and the ones they do have are sold out at the time

Great, but not that great
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Compared to the ps4 pro this thing is wisper quiet. Smaller than the og ps5. Have had zero problems with mine and ive had it for a while. The stands they give you are pathetic to say the least i just use my ps5 og stand. "Is it worth the extra money?" You may ask i say no just get a basic ps5 and save the rest of the money for a ps6

Great Console and Great Family Time
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Sony PlayStation 5, and honestly it has been one of the best purchases we’ve made. It works incredibly well — it’s fast, the graphics are amazing, and everything runs very smoothly. Beyond the technology, what I value the most is that it has helped us spend more quality time together as a family. We’ve been able to play together with my daughter and my wife, and it has become a really fun way to share time at home. I definitely recommend it. It’s an excellent console and a great option if you also want to create fun family moments.

Ps5 pro purchase
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great product. It does what it says it would do. It is overall a better product than the original ps5 The features are great like pssr and advanced ray tracing and the optimized console performance creates higher and more consistent silky smooth frame rates for the games I've been playing

Nice Upgrade… will get better with time!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall system runs smoother than base PS5. super quiet noticeable bump to graphics. Can’t wait to see how things go once developers have more time with the console. Extra storage is very welcome. Added my previous WD black drive from my launch ps5 for a total of 3rb of space. Very happy with pro.

Ps5 pro and VR
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Traded in my ps5 for ps5 pro. They gave me a fair value and process was fairly simple. Happy with the upgrade as far as graphics and speed. Also the VR experience is notably better.

Worth the upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Definitely a noticeable upgrade from the PS5, especially with the PSSR update. The price has gotten ridiculous for consoles, but with the PS6 seemingly being delayed for a few years, I decided to upgrade from my PS5. The horizontal "stand" is a joke. 2 cheap clips that cause the console to still wobble. For the price, Sony should be ashamed. The stand that came with the PS5 was much better. The clips work well enough, but what this cost we deserved better. Otherwise I'm happy with it overall.

Best Playstation Ever Made
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you have a top tier television or monitor-highly reccomend (120hz) capability with VRR and HDR OLED or QLED and know how to tweak advanced settings to enhance picture this thing is a total beast! Monster Hunter Wilds is fantastic and Horizon remastered is one of the best looking games I’ve ever seen running on this thing. Disc drive took all of 5 min to install and I added another 2TB of SSD memory that was super easy to uprade for a total of 4TB. You will absolutely notice a difference in your games and load times. It’s up to you if it’s worth the asking price but you are hands down getting the closest thing to a gaming pc the console players have ever had and don’t have to spend hours tweaking settings and options to get your games to run. I am absolutely thrilled with this purchase and was worth it to ensure fames will look best on this for next 5-6 years until the new gen starts.

Amazing
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Some people think it’s not worth getting since it was originally a minimal upgrade from non pro model. Now that PSSR2 is out, this thing blows the base model out of the water. The graphics increase for games like Space Marine 2 or Crimson Desert are amazing. I upgraded from the original PS5. The increased storage space alone is worth it given the price of NVME drives these days. Also paired with PSVR2, playing No Man’s Sky with PSSR2 enabled is so cool.

Next-Gen Powerhouse That Delivers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The PS5 is everything I hoped for in a next-gen console. Lightning-fast load times thanks to the SSD, stunning 4K graphics with ray tracing, and the DualSense controller is a genuine game-changer—haptic feedback and adaptive triggers make gameplay feel immersive in a way I didn’t expect. It’s quiet, sleek, and surprisingly easy to set up. I’ve been playing titles like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, and the performance is buttery smooth. Backward compatibility with PS4 games is a huge plus, and the UI feels intuitive and snappy.

Gaming at it's best
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.2tb's of storage, the new PSSR feature and the enhancements for certain games (FF7 Rebirth) was the biggest selling point for me. I think Sony really outdid themselves with this console and it's performance. My biggest gripe with the console isn't about performance or any sort of hardware issue. It's the fact it doesn't come with a disc drive, that is probably everyones big issue. I do believe this is more or so for the enthusiast sony gamer or for anyone who wants to make the most out of their display that supports hdmi 2.1 and can really take advantage of the 120hz and uncapped frame modes some of these games can offer now. But truthfully, I really do enjoy this console.
