I was on the fence about grabbing this at release, but since my original 5’s disc drive had gone out prompting me to start thinking about getting a slim replacement and the drive, I ended up grabbing it and reserving judgement on it till I had played on it for a bit. After using for the last 8 months daily I can say without reservation that extra money spent does not go to waste particularly if you truly enjoy the higher frame rate and graphical performance that the money goes toward. I have enjoyed the performance boosts I’ve noticed in games like Spider-Man, Hogwarts Legacy, Space Marine 2 was much better performing than what I saw on the base current gen console and version of game. This is not to mention the boosts that ps4 games I still play exhibit, though with them the base ps5 may improve upon them enough in itself. My suggestion is that if you have a well functioning base model hold off, but if you are looking to get one for the first time or replace your original, then the pro at the added cost is well worth the additional investment. I say all this without even factoring in the size of the SSD, which after adding 2 TBs, and connecting 1 more TB of external SSD I now have my entire library of games from the ps4 on at my disposal. The internal SSD nearly justifies the additional cost itself when you consider how much buying an SSD to add costs. Anyway buy with confidence, it’s a solid machine!

Best Buy had a nice trade-in offer going on so I decided to treat myself and make the upgrade from the original PS5 to the PS5 Pro! The additional storage is a huge convenience and I feel better knowing my console gaming experience is future-proofed with improved computing power. The difference in how the Pro runs vs the original console is maybe not noticeable enough to warrant the price difference, but maybe it would be if I was playing on a higher res/framerate monitor. I guess that will be my next buy :) Very happy with my purchase overall!

I got the second revision of the ps5 pro. It still has the expansion bay outer screw jammed issue. But I still love it. Its the best console for gaming just hold off on the NVME M.2 SSD just get an exter al ssd or hdd for your ps4 games. Ethernet needed if applicable to your'e space. I love Best buy total and Sony

Coming from a Xbox Series X My girlfriend bought me the PlayStation Pro for Christmas Not wanting to disappoint her I started to get a feel for it. Here are my remarks after playing on it for almost a month (keep in mind that I have an LG 4K Oled 120hz TV) I’m a very FPS (First Person Shooter) gamer I play games such as Battlefield 6, Call of Duty, and The Finals to say the least. I’ve noticed that I’m getting more consistent high-framerates on the PlayStation Pro than the Xbox Series X (mind you I have the galaxy 2Tb edition too) The PlayStation also has some PSSR (PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution) basically is AI powered to make imagines look better, very similar to AMD’s FSR Well that is expected to receive a major update soon (January - March) I myself am really excited to see what they have to make gaming more immersive….speaking about immersive, the PlayStation controller itself is a whole other can of worms. For instance, in Battlefield 6 you can feel your character’s footsteps! Walking, running, sliding and even vaulting over obstacles. And of course shooting, each gun has their own signature feedback. I personally thought this feature was strictly for PlayStation games but it seems like game developers are taking advantage of the controller’s potential. Final thoughts. I really found myself reaching for the PlayStation more than my Xbox…yeah I know the Xbox has a lot of games (all of my library is on there) But regardless the game son the PlayStation is so much better, can’t express how much of a literal game changer it is….pun intended. I would really recommend it!

Returned the PS5 and bought PS5 Pro and very happy with it! I was considering upgrading thebstorage on my PS5 until I realized getting the PS5 Pro includes upgraded atorage and so many other soeed and visual enhancementa for barely more than just yhe storage upgrade.

This by far the best ps5 graphics are AMAZING And super quiet

By far the best console on the market today. The colors and frame rates are Amazing the graphics are a 10 you cannot go wrong with the Pro. I highly recommend it.

The PS5 Pro runs a lot smother then the stander PS5. It has better storage it runs the games rilly graet and prforms rilly nice.

Best buy is a convenience place and one of the best electronic shops of the following reasons. One, the measures it offer to the customers, example you can buy and try the products for some days and if it's not good you can return with convenient process. Further more they sell quality products example, I purchased a mobile phone from there over two years to now and is still good to use , I recently bought PS5 pro and is still good. Finally their products are aways genuine, they are always new in store. In conclusion I recommend Best buy for those have the will to buy electronics due to their best offers and convenience process.

Great product not disappoint after a year. This product is more about the frame rate and pushing the graphical fidelity at 30 frames per second.

Nice upgrade from my regular ps5. Dont let reviews say its not worth the upgrade because it definitely is. I seen a noticeable difference right away and yes you can get 120fps on a lot of popular games not stuck on 30 or 60fps with not having to choose between performance or quality mode as the Ps5 pro performance setting gives you the quality as well unlike the regular ps5.

The pro is worth the money extra storage, one terabyte faster than the regular PlayStation I love it worth to upgrade
