PlayStation 5 Pro is a great upgrade for anyone who wants the best image quality and more stable FPS in modern games. It feels noticeably faster in demanding scenes, and the picture looks cleaner and smoother on a 4K TV. If you already have a standard PS5 and don’t chase max settings, the upgrade isn’t essential—but for fans of getting the best possible experience, it’s a top choice.

The PS5 Pro elevates the gaming experience with subtle yet impactful enhancements. Near-instantaneous loading times eliminate frustrating interruptions, while the innovative DualSense controller adds a new layer of immersion with haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. Stunning ray tracing technology and immersive 3D audio further enhance the visual and auditory experience. These combined enhancements make replaying older games a rewarding experience, breathing new life into familiar titles and showcasing the true power power of the PS5 Pro.

Great video game console with 2tb memory. With 4k-8k gameplay up to 120fps. With preformance mode that can run games more stable. With PSSR and AI upscale making graphics even clearer. Also enhancing ps4 games. Worth it especially if you have a good compatibility tv.

What needs to be said? Fantastic console and runs spectacularly, from graphics to capabilities it’s great and looks even better on a 4K TV. Highly recommend if you’re able spend the extra money and get a PRO, well worth it. Only downside is there is no disc drive.

My original PS5 from 2021 recently overheated and currently doesn’t work I was looking for a new PS5 now the pro wasn’t my first choice since it’s expensive and I needed to get the disk drive so I wasn’t really looking at getting this one but I was able to sell my ps5 for parts I got some money from that and decided why not pull the plug and get the pro mainly because it was the extra storage and I really want to play ghost of yotei in the best possible way. After having it for 2 weeks it’s a tough sell. The build quality and the size of it are way nicer than the og base ps5 that I went from. The extra storage is really nice and makes a difference but there’s not really a difference in many games. There are some games that really use the pro well like stellar blade that has a bunch of settings and shows the potential the system has along with ff7 rebirth which is a night and day difference from the pro to the ps5 in performance mode but if a game doesn’t have a ps5 patch it still can benefit from the system smoothing out the framerate of games like silent hill 2 which had performance issues on ps5 but playing it on the pro makes it really smooth but visually in most games I couldn’t tell a difference between the ps5 pro or the base ps5. So is it worth the 200 dollar difference from base ps5 or close to 300 dollar difference if you get a disk drive like me I have to say not really. If you want more storage and smoother frame rates and have the extra money it can be worth it but if you want a big graphics difference and or are more on a budget just save the 200 or 300 dollars and get a base ps5 and just get extra games to play on it.

I love it! Definitely an improvement from the original. Also like the fact that it comes with 2 tb of internal storage. The design in my opinion is an improvement as well. The only downside for me was having to purchase the disc drive separately. For as much as it costs I feel like it should have been included. All in all I recommend it if you can afford the premium price.

The PlayStation 5 Pro is seriously impressive. Games look incredible in 4K and run super smooth, even the more demanding ones. Load times are almost nonexistent, and the graphics upgrade is easy to notice. The DualSense controller still feels amazing with the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. Overall, it’s been an awesome upgrade and a great experience so far.

Good stuff. My ps4 controller wouldnt charge anymore. I was quite annoyed i went into best buy to get a new charger cord for it. But they dont sell micro usb cords in store. Seeing as how i had spent my 1st half of my day off mowing the lawn i really just wanted to chill out. Looks like i had no choice but to get a credit card and buy a ps5. Seeing as how they gave me a 1000$ credit line figured why n8t max it out and get the pro. Im happy. The controller is actually charging. Thanks capitalism!

As someone who wasn't the biggest fan of this console generation, the PS5 Pro excited me. I felt "Finally, a true console worth of the "next-gen" promise...and then I played games with it. Outside of the design, which, lacks a disc drive, and doesn't come with a stand, this is largely a PS5. Sure, the internals are a little different, but you set it up the same, you launch your games the same...the difference is in how the games play and let me tell you...there's a difference, just not the difference I was looking for. The original selling point was no longer choosing between performance and graphic quality...but I feel like with the PS5 Pro there are even more choices. Developers have used the power of the PS5 pro, and PSSR, Playstations Ai upscaling method, to find new ways to get you to play 30 fps...and it doesn't look good enough to justify the 30 fps. ..and it's not a stable 30 FPS!! This is what we pay MORE for, sans a 4k Blu-ray drive? Moving past the console itself, I noticed when I purchased it, certain PS5 Pro-enhanced games now found themselves back up to full price. Sure...that's not the console's fault...but that is apart of the experience of getting the console, and it wasn't a good experience. No one piece of software screamed "THIS is why you bought a PS5 Pro!" and I get it, you can't necessarily develop a game specifically for the PS5 Pro, it's not the base model, it's not the top seller, it's a mid-gen upgrade for a small percentage of the overall user base...but if there's no software to justify the console, there's definitely no justification for a price increase with missing features (the disc drive). Last gen I purchased both mid-gen consoles and was satisfied with both of the purchases. This gen I'm reminded that I have a PC, and with the increased cost of game production, eventually all these games will have to land on PC where developers can truly push things to another space. Maybe going forward games are made with the PS5 Pro in mind, developers getting a better understanding o the benefits of PSSR, but right now? This ain't it.
