Powerful and beautiful. Greta upgrade form the PS4 Pro

When the very first PlayStation came out, I was just a kid back in Kazakhstan. I remember looking at it like it was something from outer space. Owning one? No way — we couldn’t even dream about it. No money, just posters and dreams)) Years went by… I moved countries, started a family, got kids — and now here I am, standing in a store in the U.S. holding a PS5 Pro in my hands. Bought it not just for myself, but for my kids too — though I gotta admit, I’m the one who’s geeking out the most)))) We’ve been playing It Takes Two as a family — and man, it’s amazing. We laugh, shout, argue, mess around — and it’s just pure fun every time. Every time I turn it on, it’s like I’m that little kid again — but now with my own kids next to me. It’s wild. Thanks for making dreams come true — even if it took 20 years.

Upgrading from a base model ps5, i was a little skeptical on how much of a difference there would be. While i will say this is certainly a luxury item that by no means is needed if you already have a base ps5, if you like the extra power to smooth out frames on any game or get some better graphics i think this does it very well and is a solid upgrade. Along with the extra storage you get, i dont think the extra price hike is all too bad. Overall, Im happy with the purchase.

its really awesome!!! so much faster and better graphics!!! plus I finally get 8k on my 8kTV. Am I a hardcore gamer? Absolutely not!. But when the opportunity comes to have some time to relax and play a game having a great experience matters. I traded in my ps5 slim for this and im def happy.

Last console I bought was a PS4 Pro, that's why I decided to go for the PS5 Pro. In short: if you come from a last gen console like the base PS4 or the Pro and want to really experience a technological leap, pick the PS5 Pro. Yes, it's more expensive and you'll have to pay $79 more for the disc drive, but this console will stay technologically relevant for longer and don't forget that you're getting a perfectly capable 4K Blu-ray player for mere $79.

If you have a PS5, do not upgrade; however, i sold mine during COVID times, and now I want to get back into console gaming. I was gonna upgrade the SSD, but the pro gives 2TB, so it's pretty close. PS5 games on Facebook Marketplace got cheaper. Yes, I did get the disc drive, because i have ps4 games too, but overall worth it for me. goes great with OLED tv

This is definitely the console you want if you value the highest possible performance and graphics. I think it makes the most sense to pair with a TV that has VRR, 120hz, HDR and the like. I also wanted thr best possible box to play GTA 6 when it finally arrives. In late 205, RAM prices are skyrocketing so it seemed to make sense to cash in now to make sure I had the best gaming till the next generation starts.

The menus in most games work a lot faster than on the PS5. In games you get more FPS if the game supports it, as long as you have a TV with more than 60Hz. aside from that, very comparable to the PS5 the 2TB storage is very nice.

If you mainly play Playstation and you want to get the best possible graphics and performance, then this is for you. It's not an alternative to a powerful PC, and you shouldn't think of it like that. The PS5 games look great, and the boost to older games is also welcome. The 2tb SSD is nice to have, since modern games are only getting bigger. It would have been nice if you didn't have to pay for a stand and a disc drive, but what can you do. Overall, a very good console.

Very fast, and has 2Tb of storage it is much more reliable than the original ps5. Con it came with a broken controller.

Operates beautifully. Storage is great. Still operating like new since I got it back in Feb.

Very fun to play on. Does give a great improvements over the original PS5. Also has 2tb of storage. Only downside is the price and lack of a disc drive.

Love my regular PS5. Lot of people argue this upgrade isn’t worth it. I guess that depends on perspective. I love this console and am very happy with the upgrade. It’s like buying a vehicle with full trim. Do you need it to drive? No. Does it make driving better and more comfortable? Absolutely yes. This console is awesome and I am so impressed with how fast it is and how polished every game looks and feels.

Initially i wasn't going to upgrade from the original ps5 to the pro, but after consideration i did, and i'm glad i did, the pro has alot more space as well as it has better specs respectively, both resolution and graphics have been improved compared to the original ps5, and the load times seem to have lessened considerably. Definitely a good investment if you're looking to switch.

I had a PS5 before this console as well as an Xbox series X. The PS5 pro was even smoother than both with quick response times and no video issues. Use for competitive gaming and was pleased with quick response times in high FPS highly recommend.

Everything works perfectly. With subscriptions, you don’t really need to worry about the cost of games, especially if you’re playing with friends at home over a few beers. It doesn’t overheat like in some reviews — you just need to place it properly, since the airflow comes from the bottom and that area gets hot.
