I just bought this for FF7 Rebirth cause the base PS5 looked fuzzy in performance mode. This runs the game so much better. Also a warning to potential buyers: I bought this in "New" condition, but it arrived already opened...

I got this because I needed a PS5 that didnt have a drive as it would be traveling with me, and moving parts have a chance to get dislodged. I didnt want to buy the older ps5 so I went for the pro console. I. was pleasantly surprised - I could see the picture quality improvement on several of my games. In my old console I would often see a pause and render effect every now and then. that has seemed to have disappeared here. I am quite happy with this version. Though I do wish the storage was a little bigger.

I wouldnt trade this for the world the pro is definitely the purchase of the year hands down.

A clear step up from the base PS5. The addition of PSSR makes a noticeable difference and the games that take advantage of the Pro really shine. If you want the best and most powerful console in the space, the PS5 Pro is the way to go.

I did have the PS5 slim version already with an optional disc drive, but we needed another PS5 anyway (we needed 2 for some reason, don't ask), so If you have the spare cash, get the Pro version now. I got it at the original MSRP which is not bad considering a lot of items will be increasing in price very soon and the PS6 is quite a ways out. It is better than the slim version and the optional disc drive can be swapped into the Pro version too. I did not find the side plate of the original slim version so I just snapped in the plate from the Pro version and it seems to be identical. I figured that since the disc drive can go on either.

I like the best graphics i can get with the best framerate possible and this pro model delivers

I have a base PS5 but wanted to see what the Pro could offer. Kept looking at videos on YouTube despite the graphics being dumbed down on it and was convinced. Also the fact the new update is coming out I’m curious to see how it looks with my OLED

I thought it was a bit overpriced. However my boyfriend really wanted the new console. It has been nothing but good to us. Runs fast, graphics are great, and we have had no issues. Best Buy made the purchase easy & fast. We made the switch from Xbox to Ps5 and we would never go back!

The PS5 pro has the best graphics out of any system I've seen, and it operates smoothly with no issues. My whole household enjoys the system on the regular and I'd recommend it to anyone

I love this machine. It was definitely worth the upgrade from my launch PS5. RE9 looked amazing on it and it plays so much smoother. Definitely recommend this. I just wish my box was in better condition or maybe would have received a bit of a discount for it since I do collect video game consoles and games. Other than that, great product.

It’s great when paired with an excellent TV. Well worth it if you have the budget for both and don’t already have a PS5. I think the value of the console is overly criticized, as you can play any modern game with high frame rate and excellent picture quality with the Pro. One of the main criticisms of its hardware quality vs the price, but those arguments tend to ignore some of the Pro’s unique features and future scaling. Do you get less out of it than the PS4 -> PS4 pro upgrade? Probably, but this is still great IMO.

Price is steep but there's definitely a small improvement in performance. With the right TX, the visuals definitely are more vivid. Wish more games were enhances. GT7 is my main game and the smoother frame-rates in quality mode were worth it to me

Definitely a great upgrade from the original PS5 digital. Just upgraded for RE9 and love it

Worth every penny 120 fps on 4k resolution no lags or frame drops.
