4k 120hz steady for GT7! Nice upgrade from normal ps5. Should come with a better stand but that's my only complaint.

Upgraded from the original ps5 (got it day 1 drop). Absolutely love this Pro, super fast, clean gameplay, quiet etc. I have to get used to not having a disk reader but even then i can buy the plug in one. Not a dealbreaker for me. The pro is worth every penny imo.

There's a lot of hate surrounding this device. Most of it is unfounded. The price point is high, and the tangible stuff you get doesn't seem like its worth it. No disc drive, no upright stand, the horizontal feet are kind of cheap looking. Sony also missed the chance to have something major drop built for the PS5 Pro that would showcase its power. There that's the negatives out of the way. The games I've played have had varying amounts of improvements. The one thing I have to say about the games with enhancements. Think of a hamburger. If you add salt and pepper.. you enhanced it. But its still not a steak. If you keep that in mind you'll be a happier person. Each game is very different in the amount of improvements. FC25 the lighting, gameplay and subtle details to players is a very noticeable improvement, Spider-Man Remastered... looks and plays amazing! Its more in line with the PC in the ray tracing and frame rate (in line not better than max settings don't at me) Call of Duty stable 120 frame rate, butter smooth.. there are others not so noticeable Dragon Age frame rate is definitely better but visuals are about the same. First Descendant the same. Stellar Blade VAST improvements. I could go on but you get the idea. Milage for each game will vary. That bein said, as more games come out built with the PS5 Pro in mind we should see a big uptick in improvements. Should you buy? IMO if you have an old PlayStation 5 or are in the market to get one, this would be the one to choose. If you have a slim or the Sony anniversary edition, I wouldn't make a special purchase right now, maybe wait for a sale. Of course its your money do what you like, just go into it with the right expectations and you'll be happier. I don't regret it and I'm enjoying it.

Good machine that looks 10x better than the original PS5. Games run smoother and a lot of games are upscaled to higher resolution.

I was unsure whether I should upgrade my standard PS5 to Pro but I'm glad I did. It is faster, provides higher fps and better graphics for supported games.

Great console graphics def better and the speed is great. Only issue for me is wifi connection be spotty with console.

I bought the original ps5 as soon as it came out and obviously over the years its gotten slower even with regular maintenance and cleaning. Then the ps5 pro came out and its like a brand new ps5 but even better. Loading speeds are faster, the conmection to the internet is stronger, and it doesnt just randomly skip frames or freeze like the original ps5 does.

Huge upgrade if you care about performance. Games run smoother, visuals are cleaner, and load times are lightning fast. Paired with a good display, the PS5 Pro really shines.

This product really exceeded my expectations. Its performance is really a beast and smooth as butter. When I take my ps5 pro on my hand, it feel so good because of the Premium material quality. It also looks premium. The first setup of it was quick and hassle-free truly. As it was one of my dream to afford a Ps5 pro console and I finally bought it with my hard earned money for myself, so yeah I was really happy and the overall experience was so best that, it make it totally worth the price. If money is tight, stick with your standard PlayStation 5. If you have the money, go for the Pro is you want the best looking console performance in the market. While not all games utilize the PS5 Pro to its full potential, you are at least given the chance to play games with far higher graphical fidelity with better frame-rate (as long as you also have a TV supporting VRR and what not). Now with the recent RAM shortages and PC parts rising in prices, for someone who simply wants to game, I recommend a PS5 or PS5 Pro. But if you have a PC that is on par, perhaps wait a year or so and you'll see those PS5 exclusives come to PC as well (as we have seen with God of War and other exclusives). All in all, PS5 Pro is a great console if you can afford it!

Very sharp and quick wouldn’t buy it for full price but it’s a good unit wish it had a disc drive

The PS5 pro is a PS5 with more power and an AI that boosts image quality. Its up to future developers at this point to use it to its potential, not so much games that have come before. You will be getting the best experience in console gaming that we can get in the current industry, but the reality is, the differences right now are small. There is also the issue of no disk drive, something that wasnt an issue for me since im transitioning to getting all games i get all digital. Thats only because i live in florida, and a hurricane can displace me any moment. In the end, the console is definitely what you pay for. Even until after the ps6 comes out, all games will be optimized for the base ps5. Question is do you need that extra kick in performance, no matter how small?

This is not a complete next gen upgrade as people think. It does improve the graphics on performance mode with higher frame rate, on fidelity it has better ray tracing and graphics improvements. As for disc drive sony said its an accessorie and they are not leaving physical games as people claim. Yes their is a improvements from ps5 vs ps5 pro. You have to compare them to see the difference. As for the games its all up to the developers how they want to patch the game some might take full advantage and some might not.

Got a great deal on Black Friday. Got this for the 4k and 120hz gaming and 4k Blu-ray disk player. So far it is a solid upgrade from my PS4. Trade-in deal was perfect and best price around.
