Thanks to the store for the good service. The console, as expected, is more powerful, while much smaller, much lighter and much quieter. The fact that the disk drive is sold separately is brilliant in my opinion, since one of the first that fails on consoles is often the drive.

Love the PS5. It delivers gaming PC quality without the need for an advanced degree in computer science. Just plug it in, and it works. A refreshing concept for those of us who prefer gaming to troubleshooting

This is what the original PS5 should have been. I just wished it came with a Pro Controller, but I already have one. But I could have sold it, lol !!!! This is crazy. I know people are going to hate on this, but if you have the cash, get it. Trust me, you’ll be happy. For the haters, yes, I have a gaming PC, so don’t hit me with the “ you can get a gaming PC for the price.” Just say you don’t have the funds. Don’t hate. DeezSpoiledEggs on Twitch

Been a console gamer since the Atari 2600 & Space Invaders. I think Sony overpriced the PS5 Pro, then left out the vertical stand & the Disc drive. I’m not knowledgeable enough to say the performance specs & ability truly is or isn’t meaningful. I have my day one launch version PS4. Also have a PS4 Pro; 7215B version (quieter & uses the small figure “8” power cord). The standard PS4 vs the Pro was definitely worth buying. So far the system has been better in areas & a miss in others. Sony (SIE) has rarely made a dud. If something fails it’s usually from not supporting it (Vita) vs it being poorly designed. I th8nk with time & the new PSSR learning games will be better overall & hopefully we won’t be buying a PS6 anytime soon.

Gave my son my old ps5 when i got the pro playing on the odyssey g8 oled and man what a difference i noticed a big difference graphically on games like cod and battlefield 6 fortnite and those games it even polishes off older games like apex and rainbow 6 if you have the funds and are looking to upgrade i recommend it

It’s worth the upgrade if you have a good TV. If your TV is cheaper than a PS5 Pro, it might not be worth it. The Pro’s extra power gives the push some games need to reach a solid 60fps. There currently aren’t that many games using the full potential of its graphics processor, but the ones that do look very good. Seeing videos online don’t really do it justice, this is an experience that needs to be seen first hand.

Upgraded from ps4 pro to ps5 pro and i can't go back. Its such a big difference

I’m really enjoying my PS5 Pro. The price is steep compared to past console prices and this is what the Base PS5 should’ve been, but i’m very happy with my choice of upgrading. The performance and visuals is definitely way more noticeable in a positive way over the base PS5. I will say if you don’t have a good TV that will utilize all the features on the PlayStation five Pro then I wouldn’t upgrade but if you do have a mid to high quality 120hz TV, then I would go for it if you love Performance with Quality visuals. I have an LG C2 OLED and the PlayStation five Pro is amazing with it.

Just picked it up on launch day, bought the stand, disc drive and 4 Terabyte M.2. was a breeze to install and works great. My 4K TV isn’t 120 Hz so I don’t really see a difference between the OG and the Pro but I do like the 2 Terabyte internal SSD, one day hoping to upgrade my TV to 120 Hz

Great console. I purchased it for exclusive games only. But I noticed it has a lot of horror games than Xbox. I love to play horror games more fun and entertaining. Be sure that you must use gaming monitor that runs 120hz to keep PS5 pro warm and less overheat. I keep it horizontal and using 3d printed stands from makerworld.com.

The 2tb of internal ssd storage is the main reason why I bought this. I honestly can’t see the difference of the fps and resolution but my ps4 games do seem to be a bit smoother. I just wish that Sony put in the extra effort of attaching the disc drive since it is a pro console and is super expensive

I purchsed the Pro to see if there was any improvements over the base Ps5. Id say its a nice step up in terms of performance. My particular console had some issues so I ultimately had to return it. I then decided to finally take the leap and purchase a Pc. Pc is obviously superior in every way but if your not a pc person than id say the pro is the next best thing.

I’ve been using my PS five Pro for about a month now and there are certain times when I’m playing Madden that it literally looks like a cut scene how good the graphics look. I played Ghost of Tsushima, NBA 2K and Astro Bot and there are just little details that stand out now that I didn’t see before that bring out the realism Each time I play that make it a more fun to notice the little things.

You’re going to hear a lot of flack for this console. The Apple Vision Pro and this were announced in the same week I opted for the Vision Pro but then I thought about GTA 6…… Seeing that my piggy bank was a little on the empty side I got the console. It’s fine and will make you appreciate games more than you already do (just have a vrr capable 4k tv, getting this made me upgrade my hdtv to 4k; most games can’t run at 120fps and if they do terrific)
