This console is absolutely amazing. The performance is incredibly fast, with almost no loading times, and everything runs smoothly even with high-demand games. The graphics are stunning—sharp, detailed, and very immersive, making every game feel more realistic. The controller adds a whole new level to the experience, with responsive feedback and great ergonomics. I also love how easy it is to navigate the interface and access games quickly. Overall, this is a powerful and reliable console that truly delivers a next-generation gaming experience. Definitely worth the investment for anyone who loves gaming.

Smaller than OG PS5. Runs noticeably faster and smoother than my old PS5. Good if you want to maximize your console gaming experience. Extra storage is nice too. Wish it came with the vertical stand and disc drive for the price however.

Incredible product. The PSSR, extra GPU and 2 TB on this thing makes it worth it. I believe the ps5 pro is an underestimated machine that will be more valued in the future

Purchased this item Open Box. Other than a few blemishes along the glossy center, it was in like new condition. Wi-fi connectivity is a bit spotty. Sometimes it connects right away upon start up, someitmes there's a delay, and sometimes I have to turn off the wi-fi on the console and turn it back on for it to connect. Didn't have this issue with my previous PS5 Pro. It hasn't been a dealbreaker for me.

Turned in my PS5 for the PS5 Pro. Yeah, the onboard 2TB is really awesome, but so is GoW Ragnarök and The Last of us @ running at 60FPS. If money is not a worry, I'd advise anyone to jump in. Loads of AAA games coming between now and the next update cycle that will mostly all by Pro Enhanced. Lovin' it. BestBuy is awesome too. My pre-order had a broken seal when I went to pick it up and one of the staff found one with the seal intact.

As someone who wasn't the biggest fan of this console generation, the PS5 Pro excited me. I felt "Finally, a true console worth of the "next-gen" promise...and then I played games with it. Outside of the design, which, lacks a disc drive, and doesn't come with a stand, this is largely a PS5. Sure, the internals are a little different, but you set it up the same, you launch your games the same...the difference is in how the games play and let me tell you...there's a difference, just not the difference I was looking for. The original selling point was no longer choosing between performance and graphic quality...but I feel like with the PS5 Pro there are even more choices. Developers have used the power of the PS5 pro, and PSSR, Playstations Ai upscaling method, to find new ways to get you to play 30 fps...and it doesn't look good enough to justify the 30 fps. ..and it's not a stable 30 FPS!! This is what we pay MORE for, sans a 4k Blu-ray drive? Moving past the console itself, I noticed when I purchased it, certain PS5 Pro-enhanced games now found themselves back up to full price. Sure...that's not the console's fault...but that is apart of the experience of getting the console, and it wasn't a good experience. No one piece of software screamed "THIS is why you bought a PS5 Pro!" and I get it, you can't necessarily develop a game specifically for the PS5 Pro, it's not the base model, it's not the top seller, it's a mid-gen upgrade for a small percentage of the overall user base...but if there's no software to justify the console, there's definitely no justification for a price increase with missing features (the disc drive). Last gen I purchased both mid-gen consoles and was satisfied with both of the purchases. This gen I'm reminded that I have a PC, and with the increased cost of game production, eventually all these games will have to land on PC where developers can truly push things to another space. Maybe going forward games are made with the PS5 Pro in mind, developers getting a better understanding o the benefits of PSSR, but right now? This ain't it.

Upgraded from a launch PS5. Games look great on my OLED TV and play smoothly. A good upgrade for those with a base PS5. The added storage really helps as well, since most games run about 50GB it seems.

I had a PS5 before this console as well as an Xbox series X. The PS5 pro was even smoother than both with quick response times and no video issues. Use for competitive gaming and was pleased with quick response times in high FPS highly recommend.

If you have a PS5, do not upgrade; however, i sold mine during COVID times, and now I want to get back into console gaming. I was gonna upgrade the SSD, but the pro gives 2TB, so it's pretty close. PS5 games on Facebook Marketplace got cheaper. Yes, I did get the disc drive, because i have ps4 games too, but overall worth it for me. goes great with OLED tv

A great performing system. If this version of the PS5 is for you, depends on factors like your budget, what your gaming priorities are and what kind of TV or Monitor you have. You won't get a generational leap in graphics and the lack of a disc drive is lame, but you will get more graphical options with optimized titles and plenty of ssd storage for games. Also, I assume future game releases will be able to take more advantage of this baby's extra horsepower.

Last console I bought was a PS4 Pro, that's why I decided to go for the PS5 Pro. In short: if you come from a last gen console like the base PS4 or the Pro and want to really experience a technological leap, pick the PS5 Pro. Yes, it's more expensive and you'll have to pay $79 more for the disc drive, but this console will stay technologically relevant for longer and don't forget that you're getting a perfectly capable 4K Blu-ray player for mere $79.
