Coming from the PS5 standard edition it’s a bit pricey and there’s not heaps of improvement graphically or even performance in most games but I’m expecting more from the next batch of games. By then, I’m sure they can take advantage of the betterhardware. The extra storage capacity helps tremendously too.

This is definitely the console you want if you value the highest possible performance and graphics. I think it makes the most sense to pair with a TV that has VRR, 120hz, HDR and the like. I also wanted thr best possible box to play GTA 6 when it finally arrives. In late 205, RAM prices are skyrocketing so it seemed to make sense to cash in now to make sure I had the best gaming till the next generation starts.

Not bad everything I expected you could tell it was sitting a while but works fine

Awesome upgrade from ps4 pro, faster better graphics, connectivity, better controllers, Dolby atmos ect. All add up for a more immersive experience imo.

When the very first PlayStation came out, I was just a kid back in Kazakhstan. I remember looking at it like it was something from outer space. Owning one? No way — we couldn’t even dream about it. No money, just posters and dreams)) Years went by… I moved countries, started a family, got kids — and now here I am, standing in a store in the U.S. holding a PS5 Pro in my hands. Bought it not just for myself, but for my kids too — though I gotta admit, I’m the one who’s geeking out the most)))) We’ve been playing It Takes Two as a family — and man, it’s amazing. We laugh, shout, argue, mess around — and it’s just pure fun every time. Every time I turn it on, it’s like I’m that little kid again — but now with my own kids next to me. It’s wild. Thanks for making dreams come true — even if it took 20 years.

Most of it's downsides have been improved. Although not significantly, it is better than its previous version. Just not having a vertical stand included and the outrageous mark up on price are the negatives thing about it. Best to get this during a huge discount or trade-in for used consoles.

The PS5 Pro truly enhances your gaming experience. It’s a nice upgrade for the PS5. It doesn't enhance every game, but the ones it does truly shine. I'm definitely enjoying my Pro so far. Glad I finally got one.

Depending on the game, it is either a negligible upgrade or a fantastic upgrade. I own the original PS5 also so having both it's easy to compare and see the differences on specific games. If you have never had a PS5, get this. And don't forget an additional SSD to stuff inside: you'll need it.
